The cartoon reminds me of an AP photo that lead to the ouster of Pennsylvania Governor Milton Shapp.
The AP photo showed a road that had been freshly painted with a line down the middle. The snow that cover about 90% of the road pointed out the ultimate stupidity of Shapp’s department of transportation which was overrun with cronyism and nepotism.
Solyndra, you … you didn’t build those junky, uncompetitive solar panels on your own … you … you used roads like this one … that other people voted for.

That cartoon is just another way of saying this:

Another excellent cartoon from a cartoonist who is just starting to get the recognition he deserves.

Yee-ouch! Good one, Branco. 😀
Horrible as it is to believe, that cartoon is an understatement.

Amazing how “Bump in Road” and “Dip in Road” can have similar consequences…
