RNC Tuesday Night Open (Update – attempt to deface Mia Love Wikipedia page)

RNC Tuesday Night Open (Update – attempt to deface Mia Love Wikipedia page)

The line up is packed tonight, including Mia Love, who just finished her speech:

If you haven’t contributed to her Money Bomb, what are you waiting for?

Need more motivation, read what some smug creep at The Nation says about people like Mia, RNC Schedule: Tokenism Extraordinaire.  Tokens? People like that writer are the real racists, they demean accomplished people like Mia because of the color of her skin.  Don’t get mad, get even.

The prime line up, starting at 10 p.m. Eastern included Chris Christie, Artur Davis, and Ann Romney.

Update:  Via Instapundit, someone is in the process of trying to deface Mia Love’s Wikipedia page, calling her a ” a dirty, worthless whore who sold out her soul in the name of big business ….” and in a later attempted edit, “She is also a whore, and hopefully the editor who reverts this hates her as much as I now do.”  Here’s a screen shot:

Done!

She’s also on my list for donations this fall. Great lady.

    Yep, me too!

Mia Love was simply great! And, my future Senator, Ted Cruz was just as wonderful- he’ll be a great senator and Mia Love will be an outstanding Congresswoman!

Artur Davis is amazing, too! What a lineup.

huskers-for-palin | August 28, 2012 at 8:43 pm

After the BS the GOPe pulled this afternoon, I’m less inclined to help now. I’m just too pissed at this BLATANT POWER GRAB!!!

    9thDistrictNeighbor in reply to huskers-for-palin. | August 28, 2012 at 8:54 pm

We need to elect people with the heart and enthusiasm of Mia Love to Congress to get rid of those elite power-grabbers. Do you really think, after seeing her so very briefly, that she would put up with any of that?

    Yes! Right! Okeedokeepokee…

    Let’s do that!

After all, we have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency, do we?

    John McCain told me so.

Please, do us all a favor… Oh, forget it.

(insert obligatory sarc tag here for those who are obtuse to my sarcasm)

I’m sure teh Lightbringer enjoys your non-enthusiasm. So, let’s just put you down for Obama.

    Thanks for your support

I say this as a former liberal, white liberals are the biggest bigots I’ve ever seen. Bigotry comes in all colors, but white liberals act like minorities are pets, to be taken care off, and kept dependent.

and Mia ROCKED!!! Go Mia!

Sorry, Professor, I have zip interest in watching anything connected with the RNC tonight, even though Ted Cruz will be speaking.

The RNC, and its henchmen, just put the shaft to every grass roots activist who has worked their tails off for the last two years to give the Oval Office back to the Republicans. Now, if Romney is elected, he will PERSONALLY get to choose the delegates for the 2016 convention. The hell with what the respective states want, or who they want. King Mittens will choose.

I can tell you with certainty, the Texas Delegation is pIssed, and rightfully so. All those delegates, who may not have wanted Romney, but were willing to work their tails off for him are not going to now. Romney doesn’t deserve our efforts and I can’t say that I didn’t warn everyone that he is not much better than what we have now.

It was bad enough when the RNC snubbed all the other GOP candidates (like Newt, Herman, Rick and Michelle) because Romney didn’t want to remind Republicans that there were other options. Now the RNC kneecaps the Tea Party and every other grass roots organization.

Is this a sign of the future on how Romney will govern, not willing to listen to those who lend their voices to fiscal responsibility and smaller government? Is the new going to be just like the old? Seems so.

Good Lord professor, I appreciate you reading The Nation in order to keep your readers informed but make sure you wash afterwards with a good anti-bacterial. That rag is a complete cesspool.

Did something happen at the convention, something about delegates? Would appreciate if someone could post what happened that’s causing people to be upset? Thank you in advance.

[…] need more like her.H/T Charles B.Update: Doesn’t it figure that the racist, intolerant left would call Mia Love a “token?” Good grief, they are truly horrible.Need more motivation, read what some smug creep at The Nation […]

Wow…Santorum is an awful speaker for the convention. What a downer. He hardly mentioned anything about Romney. We were lucky he didn’t get nominated – he would have gotten creamed.

CalMark in reply to PhillyGuy. | August 28, 2012 at 11:32 pm

Santorum was the dubious product of a phony boomlet fabricated by conservative talk radio to destroy the Gingrich candidacy.

I suspect the Big 3 (Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin) they were all-in for Romney, but couldn’t admit it and hold on to their audiences.

In my opinion, it’s time to Vote and Run: get Romney in to get Obama out, then form a new party for 2014.

I agree. Today’s needless shenanigans by the EliteGOP prove the point. They cannot be trusted and they do NOT have the nation’s best interest at heart. Vote in November. New party in January.

I would love to see Mia sitting at a Congressional Black Caucus meeting between Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine Waters. Talk about priceless! She could help Allen West bring in a batch of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches for lunch. Another priceless moment!

1. Good speech. I wish Love well. She looks a lot more poised than during one of the first interviews that Bill showed. Although the two occasions are different, I think she’s a fast learner.

2. If she upsets Matheson, she just might become the (very) early frontrunner to replace Orrin Hatch.

3. There were no policy specifics in her speech. That’s okay because it wasn’t that kind of speech. Presumably Love knows that Matheson will try to trip her with specifics if and when they debate.

4. Matheson tried to upstage Love. His message: Mia Love wants to take away your Government Stuff. Hopefully Utah voters will see through it. (Too bad our host can’t clone himself and do for Matheson what he is doing for Warren!)

I did not know the governor , Fortino , of Puerto Rico was a republican. Both he and Branstadt took no crap from Gwen Awful.

theduchessofkitty in reply to secondwind. | August 28, 2012 at 10:20 pm

¿No lo sabías? You didn’t know that Luis Fortuño was the Governor of Puerto Rico?

Oh boy! He’s Puerto Rico’s Scott Walker. The only problem is that, unfortunately, too many people over there in the island depend waaay too much upon the government. He had to start his term by firing a good bunch of the government employees, because the very same government couldn’t meet payroll during his first month of his term. He had to cut his own salary as Governor to begin with.

But the unions in PR are much more powerful there than in Wisconsin. He might end up at the receiving end of the electoral sword out there, but at least he begun to do something with the total, decades-long fiscal irresponsibility that Puerto Rico has endured.

I actually liked that Lucé Vela, the First Lady of PR, introduced Ann Romney.

Duchess : Thanks for the info. He and the wife are an impressive couple. The whole lineup tonite was impressive. The media and dems watched and saw the future. I suspect the dems show contrast will not be favorable for them. Lies , desperation and panic will not play well.

Artur Davis is just plain terrific. Love this dude.

Fabulous line from Artur Davis, “This is the year we remember who we are!”

Holy cow…Chris Christie is going to give a phenomenal speech if the text that Drudge posted is correct.

LOVED artur Davis’s speech. He speaks for me, an ex-dem, the party has gone too hard left for me as well.

Via Drudge, this:

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said that Republicans “can’t just trot out a brown face” to make inroads with the Latino community, an increasingly important growing bloc.

The Left always tells us what they fear.

DINORightMarie in reply to gs. | August 28, 2012 at 11:11 pm

Does anyone on the left NOT see how THEY are the raaaaacists? And that theyare projecting their raaaaacism onto anyone who disagrees with them and their agenda?

Silly question. If they do, they don’t care. Most are too self absorbed to see it in their fellow travelers, and too self-loving to see it in their own thoughts, words, and actions.

And the Republicans fear them – all because the MSM controls the airwaves and print media. Go figure! /sarc

It will only get worse as Nov. 6 approaches. Batten down the hatches, dam the torpedoes – full speed ahead! We CAN do this, in spite of the RNC/Romney team shenanigans.

We must FOCUS on the goal of making Obama a 1 term president, and taking back the senate! And, of course, sending LOTS of Conservative candidates to DC to kick butt and take names – i.e. clean house!!

(Getting Boehner and McConnell out of those leader seats suits me VERY well after the last 24 hours. DeMint for Senate Majority Leader, and for Speaker…..I kinda like Mark Levin’s suggestion of Scott Walker. We need the likes of him to clean House – pun intended.)

They should have just trotted out a stupid face — his.

gs in reply to gs. | August 29, 2012 at 12:36 am

The Left always tells us what they fear.

    They fear this:

Latinos are Republican. They just don’t know it yet.

And if the grand old party is so stupid they don’t realize it, then Latinos should be a significant part of the New Party in January.

theduchessofkitty | August 28, 2012 at 11:03 pm

Anyone here knows about 3 Doors Down? They’re playing Come With Me on the floor of the RNC right now.

I never heard Ann speak until tonight.

What a Surprise. Talk about a Champion Herald. She did a better job of pitchin’ Mitt than Chris Cristie who didn’t quite deliver but redirected the spotlight on himself. Sorry, Chris but Romney’s on the ticket not you.

Keep those anecdotes of how a younger Mitt helped people quietly coming, Ann. Swing Voters will think of you when they pull the lever for Mitt.

Amazing woman.

1) Did anyone else notice how WHITE Ann Romney is?
2) Did anyone notice how WHITE Mia thinks?
3) Why are Republican women traitors to their gender and race?
4) Didn’t Barack and Michelle look fabulous while those evil Republicans were uttering racist nonsense!

Tomorrow’s talking points on MSNB/CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC/NPR…

I’m going to be the first to say it!

Between Mitt, Ryan and when Ann took the stage, Republicans are now officially the Party of the Bold and Beautiful.

DINORightMarie | August 29, 2012 at 12:12 am

Given the update and the attempt to trash Mia Love’s wikipedia site, quote Reagan: “Heh, heh. There you go again.”

Giving us a glimpse of who is consumed with hate.
Giving us a peek at their dark, evil hearts and minds.
Revealing who the REAL racists are.

Loved Mia, Ann, Arthur Davis. So far.

How can these people – truly, I mean this – how can they look themselves in the mirror, or sleep at night? Their hate is so visceral, so pervasive, so irrational.

What empty, dark hearts and lives they must live.

The same IP address is shows an edit for Kelly Ayotte’s Wikipedia page too. They called her “the ugliest United States Senator from New Hampshire.”

Remind me, who is it that has a war on women?

“The same IP address shows….” I don’t know why I have “is” in there. This would be a good place for a Bill Clinton “what the meaning of is, is” joke but I can’t think of one.

As the old song went, “There’s a thin line between love and hate.”

Now it’s just a Wikipedia page.

Having watched the convention on PBS , one suspicion was confirmed. Mark Maxieshield is the “Top” , David Brooks is the “Bottom.”

Why are Democrats so RACIST?

About those revisions…didn’t someone invent an application that allows you to track WHO makes revisions on wikipedia…

I’m just saying…post the names/IP addresses of those people who are maliciously making changes, I bet you dollars to donuts that every damn one of those assholes works for the Democratic party or her opponent.

[…] her Wikipedia page was hijacked. Someone changed the wording and called Mia Love a wh*re. Legal Insurrection reported, via […]

Just finished watching most of “Morning Joe” (I know, I know, but I like hearing what the other side thinks) and as far as I saw, they didn’t even mention Mia Love’s or Artur Davis’ speeches! Did I miss the coverage of Love and Davis while I took a shower?

Woke up this morning and checked to see what the LSM coverage of the convention was. Here it is in a nutshell:

“There were some speeches at the Republican convention tonight but look at this poll showing nobody likes Mitt Romney.”

The bias is beyond belief.
