Me on African-American Conservatives radio

Me on African-American Conservatives radio

I was a guest Tuesday night on African-American Conservatives blog talk radio.

Topics included the Ryan selection and a lot of other election related topics.  It was one-half hour of pure … wisdom.

You can listen to my segment below, or if you want to hear the entire one-hour show, click at the link above.

(added) At the very end I give an update about College Insurrection.

60 Minutes should bring back ‘Point — Counter-Point’, only this time with Woody Allen vs. Professor Jacobson. THAT would be great.

Much as I’d savor a half-hour of pure uncut Jacobson, I don’t have the time & attention to spare today.

Therefore I suggest that one of your associates use their copious free time to research voice-to-text software, and apply it to generate a transcript. Such products are advertised online, but I don’t know much about them.

“I think people feel they now have a stake in the ticket…”

Bingo. Describes my sense of it, anyway. The Ryan choice immediately brought a large number of people who were on the outside looking in at Romney, so to speak, and turned them into believers and advocates.

Speaking of stakes, Romney drove it in and the campaign will now revolve on it. Win or lose, seems like a decisive act of leadership — in a nation looking for a leader.

Good analysis of Ryan, and enjoyed the explanation of your initial thoughts. I thought your comparison of Ryan and Palin was very good and should give Axelrod and the other fools food for thought as they continue to trash her. She made McCain, not the other way around. I think Romney is enough of a businessman and has sufficient self-assurance not to let Ryan’s popularity affect his own performance. He seems to be comfortable with Ryan, and with himself. Also glad to hear College Insurrection is close to going live.

Toure is the most obvious racist on MSNBC. He sees everything through the lens of black and white. MLK looked for the day that a man would be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin. That would be mission impossible for Toure.

Does anyone expect them to change? I hope not — I hope none of us here at least, are that naive or in denial.

They’re extortionists, really — shake down artists, on par with street gangsters shaking down a local mom and pop store for protection. No one expects the street gangsters to change. We just lock them up — change is then up to them. (Or, an appearance on MSNBC’s prison show, “Lockup Raw.”

Maybe we’ll see Toure in an episode, one of these days.
