Harder, Harder

Harder, Harder

I’ve been waiting for Romney’s SuperPAC to go after Obama the way it went after Newt.

We’re not there yet, but getting closer.

The Olympics are over.

Now you will see the Romney campaign ramp up.

Rags, here in Iowa we saw a lot of Romney commercials during the Olympics. They showed Olympic athletes including Kristi Yamaguchi saying that Romney had saved the SLC Olympics and given them the opportunity to compete. Those ads ran several times per evening.

Maybe Iowans got treated to them because we’re a battleground state. Whatever the reason, the Romney presence was there.

Speaking of the Romney presence, does anyone know how Ann Romney’s horse did at the Olympics? The LSM sure as heck never said a word about it.

Need that official nomination to get the Death Star fully operational. Then it will make Dresden look like a accidental bomb drop.

I think that Romney is wanting to peak on Nov 6th. A presidential election is different from a primary. In a primary, it is all about early momentum.

The hard stuff won’t come till after the GOP convention, and after they’ve spent some time confronting the nastiness seen from the Obama camp.

The most aggressive parts for the battle are best reserved for the PACs, allowing R&R to keep their heads above the fray. It gives them the opportunity to show more of what some call “statesmanship”. And they may need to be prolific, because surely both the PACs AND the campaign sponsored messaging from Obama have proven they will be 100% negative, each time, all the time. And now that the debates are set, it seems to me they will likely give Obama the upper hand in topics and in messaging for all four debates. (PBS, CNN, ABC, CBS)

Fortunately for us there is no upper hand for Obama. I can’t name one subject they can pick that Obama has a plus on. Of course he’ll lie and say it’s a plus but it shouldn’t be that hard to show it’s a lie. If Obama can find a way out of the debates he will. It’s a losing proposition for him on every level. This makes me very, very happy. Now if Romney would just put Gingrich in as replacement in the debates I’d be even happier.

Some of the moderators – e.g. Jim Lehrer – will surely pose questions in a way that will force an angle on Romney in favor of Obama. For example, expect they will hammer endlessly details of his debt reduction plan, highlight ANY sacrifices small or simply imagined. What about Grandma? I doubt it will be that direct, but I also have no doubt that the bias in the GOP primaries was not a fluke. Every one of the proposed moderators is on record mentioning or even decrying “right wing extremism” in one set of words or another and all of their associated media organizations’ first reaction to Ryan was along those lines.

If Romney would pay off Newt’s campaign debts in exchange for debate coaching, that could be the best investment of his life.

It’s important for Romney to combine Newt’s asperity with Reagan’s reassuring optimistic presence. (In 1980 the Democrats smeared Reagan as crazy and vicious. There’s something to the claim that Reagan won the Carter debate in the first five minutes, when it was immediately obvious that he was neither.)

Obama has already plumbed the depths and hit bottom.

Now, all he can do is scrape the bottom. He can’t turn positive, because of his own personality and the reality of the Obamic Decline.

I’ll sleep better when I know that Obama, Holder, Reno, Axel-Plouffe and crew are deported and sent back to Sorosville.

Timing, pace, and rhythm is everything. You don’t want to shoot your wad too early.

I want them to gut them …to leave their smoldering bodies in the gutter as carrion for the crows to eat….I want to see adds with 300 dead Mexican citizens as the theme ..with pictures of bloody bodies of children and women calling obama and holder murderers ….I want to see adds with the parents of murdered Agent Brian Terry asking obama why he killed their son ….I want to see adds asking why the sub director of the ATF plead the 5’th in front of congress …. I want adds with holders criminal contempt of Congress and obama hiding all the documents …..I want to hear their howls of outrage ringing in my ears as I lay my head on the pillow at night …… I want to pick my teeth with their bones and I want them all banished to all the pits of hell they have created ….to spend the rest of their lives in Detroit ..Flint….Sec 8 housing in Washington D.C…… Newark …. Camden….. St.Louis …….. Please God grant me this one wish …. Whew ….I need a cigarette now

You’re singing my song. I want RR 2012 to go scorched earth against Obama, hand him his arse in a sling and send the America-hating Communist back to Chi-town in tears. Wipe the floor with him so badly it will be a salutary lesson to all Democrats and the LSM going forward. I want them to beat him In a 57 state landslide and then demolish him in a 50 state blowout. I hate to sound so vengeful, but this doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface, much less plumb the depths of my anti-Obama animus.

    Great post. 🙂

Fresh morning air and clarity in an ad. What more could I need to start out my day. Thanks for refreshment Prof. Jacobson!

There is so much attack with this administration.
Obama promised to protect our Oeans, instead he he dumped millions of gallons of oil into them.
He promised to lower the unemployment rate, instead he forced people out of the work force.
He promised to hold wall street accountable, instead he gave away the treasury to them.
He promised to smart diplomacy, instead he alienated out allies.
He promised to make our streets safer, instead he armed the mexican drug cartels
He promised to uphold our laws, instead he flagrantly violates them.
He promised us a rebirth of freedom, instead he spent his whole administration taking away more freedoms.

The only promised he kept were to political insiders, not the people. He is a man of by and for the ruling class.

Hey does anyone know how the Romney money bomb is doing …last I heard was 3.5 million over 24 ….any updates

Conservative Beaner | August 13, 2012 at 12:35 pm

Give no quarter, take no quarter.

Presidente Obama, matador de tresciento gentes en Mexico. Obama vende los armas a Narcos en Mexico.

Obama, promesa todo, Mexicanos gana muerte.

Sorry, my spanish is not too good.

Obama is the latter-day Capone, Axelrod his very own Frank Nitty. Do we declare Romney the new Eliot Ness and Paul Ryan his Paul Robsky?

Let’s hope.

Is P’fessor Jacobson up for the Walter Winchell part? 😆
