As least Joe Biden didn’t say we want them to die

As least Joe Biden didn’t say we want them to die

The joke on America continues.

And another entry that cannot wait until Saturday night.

I’m not sure if Biden will make it to the election, or if Dems will opt for a more sensible Veep on the ticket:

Prof., “say”.

But, beyond that, can you say “projection”…???

Yes, I knew you could…!!!

Keep it up, Obami! You are looking more and more desperate!

Shouldn’t Joey, be doin’ that shtick in black face?

As to the other video, that fella’ could play Frankenstein, with NO makeup.

Back in chains. Lemme tell ya something Joe.
The heaviest chains Americans should fear are the ones created by government dependency.
But keep it up like Rags suggests.
Obama poll numbers have dropped a point in 3 days.
Heck of a job there fellas.

Ragspierre in reply to jimzinsocal. | August 14, 2012 at 6:29 pm

Consider the condescension. Consider the affectation of the Southern/Neeeegro dialect. Consider the gross disrespect for the intelligence of his audience…or ANY FLUCKING color.

If I were a Black man in that audience, my impulse would have been to beat the dog-spit out of that fool.

It certainly is for this Scots-Irish son of indentured servants.

AmandaFitz in reply to Ragspierre. | August 15, 2012 at 8:33 am

His use of the Southern “ya’ll” makes his meaning even more obvious (Biden’s such a “Southern gentleman”!!!!!

ShakesheadOften | August 14, 2012 at 5:48 pm

What’s more ridiculous, what Joe said or the people who take him seriously?

Too late, they’re stuck with him –. not time get Hillary through rehab or AA.

That’s how I see it, you all.

Cassandra Lite in reply to TheFineReport.com. | August 14, 2012 at 8:10 pm

Not sure about that. Remember that 3 a.m. call Hillary talked about in her ad? I think it’s coming one of these nights chez Clinton. If in the next two weeks the idea that Joe’s really kinda sorta brain-damaged gets a foothold, the cavalry is going to have to ride in. Obama will promise her a co-presidency.

If she’s up to it, presumably campaign materials featuring Ryan’s grateful mother are in the works.

You did think of that before spewing out a flood of ludicrous lies, right, Democrats?

It took a mid-19th century interstate war to end slavery from Democrat-controlled states. Those Democrat-controlled states had to be brought kicking and screaming into the ugly period known as Reconstruction and responded with the Jim Crow laws. Yes, it was Democrats who enacted the Jim Crow laws. And it was Democrats who terrorized with their KKK.

Why blacks stay with Democrats is beyond me. It was Southern DEMOCRATS who stalled and stalled on the 1964 Civil Rights Act. We’re looking at your father, Al Gore. Robert Byrd, Democrat from WVA, was a KKK Grand Kleagle.

There’s more on the odious Democrats, lover of totalitarians throughout history. It was Democrat Wilson who, promising the US would not be in war, lied to the people and put us in European wars. It was Democrat FDR who promised the same thing and like Wilson put us into a second European war, then forcing the odious United Nations on us. And it was Democrat Harry Truman who authorized 2 atomic bombs.

CalMark in reply to pfg. | August 14, 2012 at 6:22 pm

You had me until your last paragraph.

Ever hear of Pearl Harbor? Or maybe we should have apologized to the Japanese for being in the Pacific, ceded Hawaii to them, and moved our ships back to the West Coast?

As for the atomic bombs, those were necessary to end WWII. Otherwise, we would have had to invade Japan, whose people were preparing to sacrifice everyone — down to the last small child — in meeting Allied forces coming ashore.

TrooperJohnSmith in reply to CalMark. | August 14, 2012 at 7:53 pm

Yep. A hundred million Japanese and 2-3 million Allied serviceman probably owe their lives to Truman’s decision.

If you want to go after Harry S, you only need to see how he and his fundraiser-turned-Secretary of Defense (sound familiar?) eviscerated the greatest military machine on Earth. Korea, just five years later saw an ill-equipped, ill-prepared, badly-lead, unmotivated US Army get the living daylights beaten out of it by the NKPA.

Milwaukee in reply to CalMark. | August 14, 2012 at 9:00 pm

A reasonable case can be made that the Lusitania was carrying war material. FDR desperately wanted the U.S. in WWII. Were Stukas used at Pearl Harbor? No. Then why the Declaration of War on Germany? Notice also that only in the U.S. was it a Great Depression. The rest of the world just had a depression, and recovered years before the U.S.

Harry did make the right call on the use of atomic weapons. But Korea was a royal mess, and only the courage and fortitude of our soldiers prevented it from becoming a total disaster.

Alan Kellogg in reply to Milwaukee. | August 14, 2012 at 9:12 pm

Thing is, America and Britain were de facto allies against Germany as far back as the fall of France. By 1941 American warships were patrolling the western Atlantic and guarding convoys against German uboats. American neutality was more de jure and less de facto.

As for declarations of war, keep in mind that it was Hitler who declared war on the US, and more in reaction to the sinking of a uboat by an American destroyer. He basically used the Japanese attack on Pearl as a convenient excuse, and thus gave Roosevelt the excuse he needed to declare war on Germany

TrooperJohnSmith in reply to Milwaukee. | August 15, 2012 at 4:55 pm

Hitler declared war on the US to honor his Axis Treaty with Jap.

Somehow, this is Mitt Romney’s fault. He’s a Republican rich guy, which “everyone” knows is bigots with secret plans to re-enslave the blacks. Joe B. is just reportin’ the facts EVERYONE knows. It’s COURAGE, man — and that is a big f’in deal!

It’s also Ryan’s fault. That grandma-murdering Medicare-killer! First he kills grandma. Next up: chains for black people! Everyone understands that’s how it works!

NC Mountain Girl | August 14, 2012 at 6:32 pm

Is Obama capable of admitting to a mistake as bad as Biden? If the media wasn’t in the bad for the Democrats Biden would be a bigger joke than Spiro Agnew.

Henry Hawkins in reply to NC Mountain Girl. | August 14, 2012 at 7:09 pm

Worse yet, Biden was picked in 2008 pretty much just for his union connection, which really wasn’t needed then (the unions were gonna go with the GOP?) and they damn sure don’t need Biden now to hold the unions. It’s like a horse race where Romney sits atop Secretariat and Obama sits atop Mister Ed.

Henry Hawkins | August 14, 2012 at 6:34 pm

Biden to Obama Team: “Whadday’all worried about? The day I can’t out-debate a washed up jock like Nolan Ryan is the day I need to hang it up, right? Am I right? C’mon!”

Prediction: Joe Biden soon contracts some mysterious medical condition which prevents him from continuing as the VP candidate.

Small people with small vision and small expectations of all those around them.

Cassandra Lite | August 14, 2012 at 6:45 pm

Now, come on, you know Joe. He was talking about sailing. November is almost winter. “They’re gonna put the yawlback in chains.”

Joe Biden could well end up as being one of the GOP’s greatest assets. I love Joe!

Paul Ryan should reduce him to rubble in the debate despite it being moderated by a rabid liberal.

Eviction Day should be veeeeery interesting…

Henry Hawkins | August 14, 2012 at 7:11 pm

Two Democrats I sincerely hope survive politically long enough to be around front and center for the next cycle in 2016 are Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Joe Biden.

Joe, you’d better stay miles away from Ft. Marcy Park. And don’t even go to the bathroom without 2 Secret Service agents (that you’ve confirmed are Republicans).

Just sayin’….

2nd Ammendment Mother | August 14, 2012 at 7:35 pm

Anyone else think that the Ryan/Biden debate is going to top the Super Bowl Ratings? If Romney and Obama were smart they would cancel their own debates and let these guys loose…. I’d even watch!

TrooperJohnSmith in reply to 2nd Ammendment Mother. | August 14, 2012 at 7:58 pm

It will be like clubbing baby seals. I suspect that on debate-eve, Biden will pull a back muscle or have to go use his foreign policy genius to save the middle-east. And Soledad O’Brien will be so moved that, she’ll have a moment on live TV (to top Matthews’ “tingle” at rival MSNBCCCP).

    Cynical? Me? Naaaaaaah.

So the first thing we do after Romney wins is to repeal the 13th Amendment. After repeal though, should slavery be re-instituted in all states or should we do it historically and just allow slavery in states that had it as of say 1860?

The problem with the historical approach to re-institution is what do we do with the states admitted after 1860? Should we divide them in two and try to have equal numbers of free and slave states? We don’t want another bloody Kansas!

Then what about the territories? Puerto Rico? Virgin Islands? Somoa? Also, should we reintroduce the fugitive slave acts? Is Dred Scott now good law again?

As thinking Republicans, we must try to answer these questions now. If we don’t, can you imagine the chaos!?

Joe may get called away to one of the “other 57 states” around the time of the VEEP debates.

Seriously, when did they let him out of the home for “special people?”

“Moron” does not begin to describe this tool…

Why would the Democrats want to endanger Obama by ousting Biden?

WarEagle82 in reply to Alan Kellogg. | August 14, 2012 at 8:38 pm

Uh, because they are absolutely petrified that this MORON might somehow become president by accident…

Henry Hawkins in reply to Alan Kellogg. | August 14, 2012 at 8:47 pm

“Why would the Democrats want to endanger Obama by ousting Biden?”

Because Obama himself is gaffe prone and doing serious damage to himself with them, re: ‘the private sector is doing fine’… ‘you didn’t build that’ … ‘the stimulous plan worked’, etc.).

Biden increases the chance, rather, the likelihood of further bad gaffes exponentially.

I believe there are Obama Team members right this minute calculating the damage of changing out VP candidates versus the potential damage of further Biden gaffes. They would also be short-listing replacement VP candidates. This file would sit on the shelf against the moment it becomes needed.

Henry Hawkins in reply to Henry Hawkins. | August 14, 2012 at 8:52 pm

PS: Obama campaign team people have to be looking ahead to the Biden/Ryan debate in deep trepidation. Imagine Biden, repeatwedly getting his ass handed to him by Ryan, growing nervous, panicky, desperate.

This is a prime scenario for a truly historic Biden gaffe, the sort that could literally cost the Dems the election on it’s own.

I think all but a couple of the LI regular commenters could defeat Biden in a debate. (Take no pride in this, my LI brothers and sisters – it is faint, faint praise.)

How many thousands would be outside of the White House and Number One Observatory Circle, had Cheney said the same, demanding his head on a pike..

I think we may be taking it as a given that a REPUTABLE Democrat might be amenable to taking Biden’s place on the ticket. I’m not so sure there are any who would be willing to sully their reputation by doing so, especially if they have future political ambitions of their own. For example, if Romney’s selection of Ryan leads to a significant uptick in the polls in the PA-to-Iowa corridor, can you imagine Evan Bayh accepting an invitation to replace Biden? I doubt it. I’m not even sure Hillary would bother answering the phone.

Separately, I think that those who might be the most distressed about Biden’s comments would be those white voters who, regardless of the fact that they were simply bamboozled by the 2008 campaign magic, earnestly believed that their votes for Obama in 2008 would usher in a truly post-racial era in America. Of course, they were dopes to believe that we’re not already in one. Nonetheless, to hear these comments must certainly feel like a kick in the face.

I have no doubt whatsoever that if Obama made the political calculation that throwing Biden under the bus would help his chances in November, he’d do it.

In fact, dumping Biden in favor of some new face (I doubt it would be Hillary, given all the bad blood and Bill’s continuing passive-aggressive behavior) might be seen as a way to energize Obama’s campaign.

He certainly doesn’t have any feelings of loyalty to anyone. I don’t see why he’d be particularly loyal to Biden, of all people.

Romney referred to rolling back punitive regulations hurting businesses and Biden twists that to mean deregulating Wall Street…
If he was referring to Dodd-Frank then that legislation will kill community banks and force minorities that he was pandering to … into the hands of big banks that are too big to fail.

Democrats are all about culture of corruption and rigging outcomes .. while enriching themselves.

When would be the best time to slide Biden out and slide the new, fresh face in the VP slot? During the Dem convention?

Let’s hope it doesn’t happen. Biden is far too valuable to the GOP right where he is.

I think Biden is going to get dumped when they judge it’ll do the least harm.

And I think The One will bite the bullet and ask Hillary to be his running mate. He might hate her, and her husband especially, but he wants to WIN to continue his “Transformation.” And the Clintons essentially want the same thing. To say nothing of how it would energize the female vote.

This worries me.

Fox2 Detroit didn’t report anything of the comment, only that Biden made a gaffe in calling for a win in NC while in Virginia.

Heh! See my own series covering Democrat accusations that “Republicans want you to die.”

I’d forgotten about Grayson’s accusation on the floor so I’ll have to add it.

And since when did people from Delaware ever say, “ya’ll?” What is it about Dem pols that they seem to think they should pander to ethnic, especially black, audiences by faking their dialects?

Remember Hillary Clinton’s, “I don’t feel no ways tired” speech?

Henry Hawkins | August 15, 2012 at 10:33 am

Biden’s in the back of a DNC windowless van as we speak, on his way to a landfill outside Chicago. However, he thinks he’s going to Disney World.
