The world has gone mad

The world has gone mad

On Monday, Mr. Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel are to meet in Washington. Of all their encounters, this could be the most critical. Asking Israel’s leaders to abide by America’s timetable, and hence allowing Israel’s window of opportunity to be closed, is to make Washington a de facto proxy for Israel’s security — a tremendous leap of faith for Israelis faced with a looming Iranian bomb.

Obama seems willing to sacrifice Israel. He won’t stand with them, at least not before the election. If Obama is too far behind in polls, maybe then he would support a strike to try to get voters to rally around the president.

But in any case, I don’t see gas prices or unemployment or national debt going down. So Obama has to attack churches by nefarious methods. Obama is turning “Hate Week” into “Hate Year”.

Milwaukee in reply to Midwest Rhino. | March 2, 2012 at 5:30 pm

“Obama seems willing to sacrifice Israel.” Does a shoulder shrug and sigh come with that? Oh well. Actually, the demise of Israel seems like something 0bama wants for the good of his friends in the Middle East, not like collateral damage in the scheme of the bigger picture.

Aviation has crashes, not accidents. While somethings are unpredictable and unavoidable, 0bama has always seemed more interested in Muslim interests than American or Israeli interests. Thus somethings are not “accidents”, but the result of deliberate intentions.

Midwest Rhino in reply to Milwaukee. | March 2, 2012 at 8:56 pm

Maybe … but I think Obama just wants to stay away from strong support for Israel, mostly because his base wants that. Seems to me he would “sacrifice” them as appeasement, more than actually working toward their destruction. Our support of an attack on Iran might well mean uprisings and even terrorist attacks here. I think he’ll be willing to do that, but not till after the election. By “sacrifice”, I really just mean let them be at great risk … a nuke in Israel would be TEOTWAWKI.

Iran with nukes seems a greater threat to many of us and certainly to Israel, than it does to Obama. I see his appeasement of Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, etc., is more about weakening us in the world scene. He is happy to unilaterally disarm on the nuclear scene, and bow to all other countries. That’s his idea of diplomacy. He seems to think the west is the bully.

But I really don’t think Obama desires the destruction of Israel. But he’s willing to “push them as a pawn”, into greater threat. Hard to say what his real vision for world peace is … some UN global tax, global currency, who knows. But he wants the world to be more “equal”, and western powers are too strong now.

Seems to me Obama thinks he can get everyone to hold hands, but you could be right. Maybe he wants to be Godfather for the world, and radical Islam are his hit men against the west.

Anyway … claiming Obama DESIRES the destruction of Israel is a pretty big claim. It would be bad for him politically, so for that reason alone he is probably against it. .. as I see it.

“Why Can’t the Obama Administration Make Its Case Without Disseminating Hate?”

Why do dogs bark?

It is who they are.

Koch brothers, Rush, Fox News, etc. All powerless, private citizens who depend on people coming to them every day, to freely exchange what they offer for what the people have.

The Powerline article…pretty close to what I see as well but we can certainly expand with examples.
What I notice with Obama..and Id characterize it as a character flaw is his constant use of convenient scapegoats as a means of distracting readers/listeners. Hes a master of misdirection. Recent example..his talking points about energy. He isnt content to simply list his plan..he needs to toss in the notion that we need to punish the rich opportunistic loophole sniffing oil companies via targeted tax reforms (punishments). And this improves the price at the pump how? Explain it to me…like Im a 4 year old.
But? I guess his followers are content with that sort of logic….and are distracted from the pump price and now set sites on the oil barons instead.
This is a President? The leader of the Western World that frames his arguments about like a sullen teenager with a persecution complex?
We gotta do better than this.

But after Israel does strike – he’ll run around crowing just like he is with Osama. “Look what I did!”

Every nation on earth knows this needs to be done, but none are brave enough. Israel is. So the rest of the world is going to “Let Mikey do it.”

And then the self-congratulatory back-patting will begin.

LukeHandCool in reply to Rose. | March 2, 2012 at 8:52 pm

Oh, dang. I just read the other comments now, and it seems I said pretty much what you said, Rose!

If the Israelis say, “Forget Obama, let’s do it,” and, I pray, they are successful, Obama will surely make it look like he played a big part.

    Great minds think alike!!

The president must not permit our soldiers to be prosecuted for offending thin-skinned people. Furthermore, the president must insist that Afghans that we trained and armed STOP shooting our soldiers.

I want him removed for so many other reasons, but if he doesn’t handle this correctly – I want to see him in jail too.

DINORightMarie in reply to BillyTex. | March 2, 2012 at 5:15 pm

I want Obama and Eric Holder *BOTH* in jail for Fast & Furious. No AG could authorize this international scandal without his higher-ups approving it.

This travesty over burning desecrated Korans – desecrated by the Afghan terrorists! – is just another outrage that shows Obama deserves to be criminally charged for his actions in many areas……IMHO.

I can’t stand it. Four of our soldiers died. Now this insane ass-licking up to murderers. Our boys are worth less, apparently, than burned filth.

Uncle Samuel in reply to janitor. | March 3, 2012 at 7:09 am

Actually, janitor, 33 have died during this hypocritical trumped-up incident of the ‘Koran’ burning – 25 or more since the two apologies. During the same week, thousands of Korans were found in a sewer in Pakistan.

During February, 2012, the Koran has inspired 160 jihad attacks in 22 countries against 5 religions, killing 783 human beings, critically injuring 1329 others.

Today there has already been a suicide bombing in Syria. Every day, week, month, year this evil continues.

There have been 18, 513 Islamic terrorist attacks since September 11, 2001…which was by no means the first.

Islam and the Koran and the Imam/Mullah/Ayatollahs and followers are to blame for these atrocities and should be condemned.

The Koran should be burned and forgotten on this earth.
Islam should be banned from civilized nations.
Its practice and practitioners contained to Saudi Arabia, Mecca and Medina.
Let them continue to stampede, trample, fight, kill and hate one another during their Hajj and Ramadan. Let them continue their vile practices among themselves.

Let every woman and man who wants freedom, will renounce the religion/political system and every Christian who wants to leave, come to the US…with their children. Send all muslims from every nation to Saudi Arabia, including all alleged ‘Palestinians’.

I particularly hate Islam…with a perfect (whole-hearted, unequivocal, unambivalent, revulsion, detestation, contemptuous) hatred. (Psalm 119:19-24)

Israel’s Last Chance to Strike Iran:

“On Monday, Mr. Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel are to meet in Washington. Of all their encounters, this could be the most critical. Asking Israel’s leaders to abide by America’s timetable, and hence allowing Israel’s window of opportunity to be closed, is to make Washington a de facto proxy for Israel’s security — a tremendous leap of faith for Israelis faced with a looming Iranian bomb.”

That reminded me – Newt was on last night with Greta and it was excellent! I could just see Bibi sitting down with Newt in the White House, Bibi smiling ear to ear because *FINALLY* he had a real leader to work with him!! 😀

Anchovy in reply to DINORightMarie. | March 2, 2012 at 8:20 pm

Quite likely a united front by the U.S. and Israel would solve the problem without a unilateral attack which will kill many no matter what.

One would think a Nobel Peace Prize winner would have thought of that.

Well at least Newt is staying on message and the crowd loves it in Macon, Georgia. At about the 8 minute mark they start cheering for him like crazy, it is worth a listen. Their enthusiasm for Newt is very heartening.

After the nice terrorist detainees desecrated the Koran, the mistake was not burning them completely (…the Korans, that is…)

Wow. Just watched this.

I have immense respect for Bill Whittle, and what he said was gob-smacking.

Any of them charge with anything should demand a court martial. They did nothing wrong and absolutely nothing they could be prosecuted for, including any kind of reprimand.

Anchovy in reply to K.J. Hinton. | March 2, 2012 at 7:09 pm

An excellent idea. And they should demand that anyone below the rank of Commander In Chief recuse themselves because that CIC has already prejudiced their ability to get a fair hearing.

LukeHandCool | March 2, 2012 at 6:15 pm

If Israel has determined that attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities is the best thing to do, please do it!!

And then after the raid is successful … let Obama take credit for the success. He’s good at that.

LukeHandCool (who thinks if the Israelis really want to know America is behind her in this, ask the American people, not Obama. My vote is, do it! And, if that buys 5 years time, start planning now for the next attack in 5 years. Our enemies respect nothing more than a show of force, strength, and determination. Don’t ignore General MacArthur’s simple axiom explaining how huge conflagrations develop: “Too late” in addressing them. And who will now go back to bed as his back is killing him).

ThreeputtinIL | March 2, 2012 at 6:37 pm

Thanks for the h/t professor. Coming to this website has been a true god send for me. Whatever’s bigger than a h/t it goes to you Prof.!!!!

As for Israel, do what you gotta do, it’s your survival. (And ours too in a round-about way.) If we had a decent Pres. you’d know most Americans have your back, but sadly we have Obambi.

Say What – loved the clip – GO NEWT!!!

Just heard from someone on the radio from New York – if the Obama tapes/videos are
released, Breitbart died of a heart attack. If the tapes/video are not released Breitbart was murdered. Food for thought.

Well, another way to look at the Iran issue is this: As long as Israel is threatening Iran, this keeps the gas prices here high and they will continue to rise. The Americans do not want higher prices and it may just get Obama out of office and someone who will support Israel into office!!! :0)

ThreeputtinIL | March 2, 2012 at 7:03 pm

Terri – NEWT, NEWT, NEWT!!!!!

I love that video of Andrew.
Man, I already miss the guy so much.

LukeHandCool in reply to Tamminator. | March 2, 2012 at 9:28 pm

Yeah … I love watching Andrew in these videos … until suddenly it pops in my head that he’s gone and it feels like being punched in the stomach.

“Andrew was a creature of social media if there ever was one. So, here is Andrew Breitbart, in 140 characters or less…”

There is a great capture of Breitbart’s friends and those who worked for him. Listed by Sunshine State Sarah.

The following rings so true:

“So, progressives, you don’t win this. You will lose because I and millions of others will drag our nominee over the finish line.
— Jimmie (@jimmiebjr) March 2, 2012”

Whoever the nominee is, I do hope it’s Newt, I will pledge to do everything I can to make Obama fail at his reelection.

When you realize that Bill Ayers and Dohrn of the Weather Underground who was revealed by an undercover FBI agent who infiltrated their group, listened as they so casually agreed that those Americans who would not be re-educated would have to be murdered. They estimated that 25 million Americans would have to be killed. If these two helped groom Obama we all need to drag our nominee if need be to win.

Just read on the tipline that Nugent endorsed Romney – check it out it’s a real short tweet- does anyone doubt that tomorrow nights Huckster Forum is gonna try passing off Romney as another “Rock Star” (like MSM did with Obambi) and have Nugent actually there to endorse. Fox is absolutely pathetic. And as for Nugent, lost lots of respect. Sad day for his fans. He supports a guy who hunts small rodents? Huckabee lost my respect back when he only defended Romney. Damn, I was actually going to watch it even knowing it’s all about highlighting Romney, just like Rick with JFK, it’ll make me want to puke – not worth it. Will wait for what limited highlights there might be. Romney’s campaign is soo much like Obamas 2008 one, what’s Romney’s campaign gonna do to beat Obamas 2012 campaign. Romney & crew only know how to copy the past, not the present and he can’t beat him at using Obamas tactics from 2008 campainging – it’s just not working as well for Rombo. Hoping Palin endorses Newt soon!!

What in the heck happened people? The tea party went to town hall meetings, rallies, wrote their congressmen and senators, and for what? Why isn’t there a movement to stop Mitt from getting this nomination? Where did you people go? Don’t tell me you are just going to sit there while someone who serially lie, flip flops and supports every liberal position under the sun, not to mention Obamacare, buys his way into the nomination!

Mitt’s only support is from fellow Mormons and people he has bought and paid for. That is it. That is his base. And we can’t fight this? Even a ham sandwich would be better than this guy. I can’t stand here and watch the Republican party commit suicide while the country goes down in socialist flames!

Stop the Insanity! Newt 2012!

LukeHandCool | March 2, 2012 at 9:03 pm

As John Bolton said last night when somebody was asking him about the burned Korans, let’s step back and remember we’re talking about a couple of books being burned.

If somewhere in America you grab the holy book of a Christian or Jew, douse it with gasoline and burn it before them, they may become very upset … but they won’t kill you.

Obama loves to apologize for America’s past … and the destruction of some Korans …

… will he apologize for “Piss Christ”? How many people were killed in riots about “Piss Christ”?

Those soldiers are “to be charged”?

More like sacrificed to appease the Islamist gods.

Jack Long in reply to LukeHandCool. | March 3, 2012 at 12:23 am

Those soldiers are “to be charged”?

Precisely why we may have to ‘suck it up’ and back the republican nominee regardless of who it is.

If the administration allows the UN to try the soldiers it will have taken a step beyond what any American should tolerate.

It would also reveal the absurdity of the argument that republicans should forget the presidency and concentrate on winning the house and senate. Czars, ‘kinetic military actions’, executive orders, ‘deemed’ as passed, ad nauseam, etc, ad nauseam. Do people really think a republican majority in both houses would have any effect?

As the situation becomes existential for our military it is necessary to return to an ABO / LOTE strategy.

The world went mad many years ago. None of this should be a surprise.

I guess this is another bit of information about Mitt that probably won’t be seen on Drudge:

I am not sure why people don’t understand it.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, a Romney supporter, let the cat out of the bag. The Florida Republican told Greta Van Susteren that Mitt wants Romneycare in every state.

She also said she would be on Romney’s Health Care Advisory Team “when he’s president”.

I agree that it’s “The world has gone mad”

So true Terri. Mitt gives new meaning to the word “empty suit” Besides O, I’ve never seen a more vacuus candidate.

Youtube video of Mitt’s double talk on 2nd Amendment:

Iran’s nuclear reactor is poorly built and likely to leak and cause an accident that makes Chernobyl and Hiroshima look minor, according to some experts.

Instead of starting over, they remodeled their first older model with the help of Russian nuclear scientists in order to save time and money – so they could (“pride goeth before a fall.”) boast about their nukes and threaten to destroy Israel and the Jews as soon as possible.
