Fix the tax code or we’ll shoot another rabbit

Fix the tax code or we’ll shoot another rabbit

Herman Cain’s Sick of Stimulus website has released a new web ad.

It’s right up there with the “greats” of web ads.  (h/t Robert Costa, who says he is speechless.)

Update:  This reaction from one of the people behind the Rush boycott actually is quite unintentionally funny:

And, Cain protests temporary removal of controversial rabbit ad.

Holy shit! lol….. x 1000.

that’s distasteful flipping an animal in the air and shooting it.

Howls of “eliminationist” rhetoric/images, child abuse, etc. from the Collective in 4…3…2…

It’s definitely memorable. Which is the point.

That’s awesome!

PULL!

lolololol

Uh, bold solutions anyone?

Right on. This is how you do it.

Shock and Awe!!!

And his campaign manager smokes! Wow!

[…] Herman Cain’s Sick of Stimulus project released a new video.  Via Professor Jacobson who says “Fix the tax code or we’ll shoot another rabbit”: […]

Shoq Value needs to rename himself.

If this were Australia, the only answer would be to say “Pull!”

This was GREAT!

I love Herman Cain! I wouldn’t necessarily choose him to be our President – I think his skill set differs in quite a few ways from what we need to see in that spot – but that doesn’t take away from what he is, and from what he could accomplish following other paths.

No matter which of our nominees ends up being our next President, I surely hope that some place in that administration can be found for Mr. Cain. We need what he has to offer.

That’s a vile ad.

Oh my, PhillyGuy … a vile ad to make a point about a vile administration pushing a vile agenda … what’ll they think of next?

I understand but the imagery gets in the way of the message. Much like Rush’s “slut” comment did. We don’t need to give them fuel like that. There are plenty of ways to make compelling arguments.

That’s the most audacious ad I’ve seen in the last 500 years.

Got to laugh at the Shoq tweet–adding a tag for PETA, which last year killed upwards of 95 percent of the animals in its care in Virginia.

They don’t call him the Hermanator for nothing….

Next they should put a bible or menorah in the basket, launch it and shoot it. The war on religion is real.

“This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content.”

Aw, somebody got their widdle feelings hurt.

“Limbaugh hit man loves cruelty to animals.”

There is no pretentious herbivore-rights preening among honey badgers.

*sigh* when will people learn to upload to popmodal? had i seen this video soon enough i would have uploaded to my account there because any idiot knows youtube will not stand for powerful messages critical of the left.

Yep – it’s ok to threaten to kill Rush Limbaugh, but not to fake the death of a rabbit.

What about the Godfather movie and the horse head? That was a worse, far worse graphic image.

Do go to the main site and watch the young boy sock it to the people who were offended by the Rabbit ad. It is great.

YouTube, coming to the aid of progressives a hundred percent of the time.

I don’t know if You-Tube is actually intolerant of conservative opinion. But if they are, then this may be a case where a more free or even more conservative alternative may offer a sort of “buycott”. They seem to be ripe for a more diversified alternative choice.

thanks midwest rhino for that link. i know youtube is a giant but why people don’t simultaneously upload to popmodal is beyond me.

Try this link from a Cain email I received.

OK, one more time, why did Cain have to back out of the race? And if you agreed then, do you still agree?

In Michigan under former Gov Granholm we have been dealing with similar liberal ideologue worldview of central planned economy since 2003.

It has wreaked havoc on the small businesses, I worked in Oakland County, a Republican stronghold and one of the top ten wealthiest counties in the nation.
Every day I witnessed small business closings because of a tax code hostile to sm businesses.

This year, the liberal rag Detroit Free Press had a week long expose ridiculing Oakland County for a 26% rise in poverty…. while reform of the offending tax code by Gov Snyder (R) only took effect in January of 2012.

Liberalism is self-justifying, yup they broked it and lay ridicule on Republicans for not being able to counter the ill effects of their caustic economic policy and utopian fantasy of giving billions to Democrat Agenda compliant corporations in the name of “job creation”

Wow. Effective. To the point. Absolutely accurate.

The left will only see dead bunnies.

Is the brain trust at Media Matters behind the phony outrage about someone pretending to shoot a pretend rabbit that someone pretended to hurl into the air?

Or was Shoq value able to muster his own phony outrage all by himself?

While this is only a parody, the animal rights activists in expressing fictitious indignation will be forced to eat crow.

PETA, what a joke — People for the Euthanasia of Throwaway Animals. Actually, any human that would impulsively place the rights of animals before humans can only be described as an evolutionary joke.

Wait, is this about selective indignation or hypocrisy run amuck? This must be the beginning of another revenue cycle for the “non-profit” businesses.

True story of PETA crime, prosecuted by my bro-in-law when he was an ADA with Hertford/Bertie Co in NC:

Reports came to police about folks finding animal carcasses in dumpsters around the county, always ‘pet’ type animals, dogs and cats. Investigation ensues. Result? PETA staff out of Virginia were making their usual rounds of area animal shelters and ‘rescuing’ dogs and cats about to be euthanized. They loaded them into their van, enjoying the gratitude of shelter employees who loath having to euthanize animals. They were seen as heroes. Ah, but what they were doing was driving a few miles away, killing the animals in the back of the van, and dumping their bodies in dumpsters outside rural stores and businesses. Convicted of a myriad of charges. PETA response will sound familiar to anyone who recalls the ACORN takedown: it was only ‘those’ employees that were doing it.

[…] by genes I think it’s good. Strange that People Executing Tame Animals would object. Via Legal Insurrection. I thought about posting this to “funny” but decided that the small business regs are […]

I like it. It annoys the right sort of people. It amuses the right sort of people.
