A new online newspaper launched by David Horovitz (former Editor in Chief of The Jerusalem Post, not David Horowitz of FrontPage Mag), via Honest Reporting (h/t Anneipt).
The Times of Israel represents a determined effort, by a team of skilled, committed journalists, to report Israel, the region and the Jewish world accurately and engagingly. …
Fair-minded journalism, based in Israel, and read both here in Israel and among those who care for the Jewish nation around the world, has a vital, even noble role to play in enabling informed debate over the challenges and the choices that face the Jewish state. Informing that debate is one of the prime goals of The Times of Israel.

Looks good! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
It’s great, but the JPost site is easier to read, because the stories are categorized.
And the comments are linked to facebook, which along with twitter, I refuse to join.
Even though I do have facebook and twitter accounts I wasn’t keen on the facebook-only commenting. But I’ve noticed that on a couple of threads (perhaps on the blog pages?) there is a choice of options for commenting besides just those 2. I’m giving them time to get the website up and running properly.
Thanks for the h/t Prof. Jacobson!
