Mike Huckabee did not say this, either

Two days ago Mike Huckabee denied calling Mitt Romney dishonest because of the negative attacks run by Romney, and asked Newt to take down an ad featuring Huckabee calling Romney dishonest because Huckabee denied what was on the video even though it was on the video.

So remember, this also did not happen:

If Huckabee changed his mind, that’s fine, but in this election we are being asked time and again not to believe our eyes and ears.

History is not history.

In these postmodern times truth is what I say it is.

Damn your lying eyes and ears anyway!

The RNC is looking into slander and libel suits against you. If found guilty, you will be banished to the Romneyverse for 10 years indoctrination into the glories of Mitt Romney.

As long as Huckabee is keeping it simple, what word would he use for it when he is dishonest about his own record, and makes up stuff? Does Mike have another word for it, or does he call it “dishonest”? FOX/Murdoch seem in the Romney camp, so there is a fat thumb on the “fair and balanced” scales, and talking heads best lean the Romney way, which is not right.

A couple polls are showing Mitt up by 15 in Florida. Besides all the big money, he has several air time celebrities pushing his dishonest meme and ridiculing Gingrich. That polling was before the Cain endorsement, and Palin is out a little stronger for Newt now, as the anti-establishment candidate.

People jest that Newt can’t be anti-establishment, yet in the next breath remind us how the establishment Democrats and some Republicans united against him. Remember Newt wanted Bush to keep his “Read my lips, no new taxes” pledge. He was for not raising taxes 20 years ago, while establishment Republicans were breaking their promises. And they hate him for it still.

By reading here regularly, I’m aware of the lies Mitt has deliberately spread. But it seems Romney is like Obama in this, he counts on the big sound bite for the news cycle, and figures 90% won’t ever find out how dishonest he is.

Someone needs a “Mitt lie soundbite” versus “fact soundbite” you-tube video, that lists them all. Exposing the deliberate, premeditated spreading of the propaganda, as the NY Times did, would also help. Team Gingrich should pull that together from sources here, and let it go viral.

Newt has support from Giuliani, Cain and Palin. He has some tea partiers and a lot of bloggers. Mitt has the money and Drudge became his MediaMatters style propaganda site.

“RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

Romney did that to Gingrich using calculated lies. Newt can do that to Mitt using the truth. Perhaps Mitt has peaked too soon, as in SC.

Newt just needs to channel his inner Joe Wilson and just say “You Lie”. It is time to challenge Romney saying he will repeal ObamaCare (when that is the province of the Congress) while his advisor Norm Coleman is stating ObamaCare will not be repealed. Who is lying; the guy who is trolling for votes or the advisor?
It is also time to challenge Romney on his healthcare plans. It seems Pam Bondi the FL AG (who is fighting to beat ObamaCare in the Court) is also on Team Romney. I understand she is on board with putting the RomneyCare plan in all 50 states. I think we now know why he won’t disown RomneyCare; he really thinks it is great.
I don’t care what polls Romney cites, the reality is RomneyCare is a disaster for MA.

That video reveals some astounding photoshop work. It makes Huckabee say exactly what he never said, and yet his speech is perfectly matched to the movement of his lips. Amazing. Disney Studios? Pixar?
