Shocking – Democrats behind “independent” recall group in WI

The recall effort against Scott Walker is being led by United Wisconsin, which bills itself as a non-partisan group.

Of course, that’s nonsense, this a Democratic effort through and through, as reported by WISC Madison:

Members of United Wisconsin, the group coordinating the recall effort against Gov. Scott Walker, said they are a grassroots, independent organization with one mission: to recall the governor and lieutenant governor….

The group’s opponents said that they believe United Wisconsin’s activities is simply masking the work of the state’s Democratic Party.

“We knew that one of these groups would be formed for the purposes of putting a cover into the state Democratic Party’s efforts and that’s what United Wisconsin is,” said Brian Schimming, with the Republican Party of Wisconsin

Republican Party charges its Democratic counterparts are too involved in United Wisconsin’s efforts to call the group independent.

The group’s executive director worked for the party while three other paid staffers had previously worked for progressive-leaning groups or volunteered on Democratic campaigns.  Many of United Wisconsin’s fundraising appeals come directly from the party chair and office contacts around the state all have Democratic Party email addresses.

In other news, someone apparently tried to organize a cemetery name gathering for petitions to recall Walker; I don’t know if that’s for real or not, but would anyone be surprised if it were?

Well this is certainly…

…unexpected.

The recall thingy is dumb. I don’t care what party or who is being recalled. Elections matter and have consequences. If I were a citizen of Wisconsin, I would resent that anothr party was trying to oust duly elected officials costing te state mega bucks. Look for a recall effort on Prosser next year.

check out the google cache..

google cache of cemetary votes

I just checked out the “A United Wisconsin” website. Almost all of their stories are written by teachers, former teachers, or family members of teachers. As a former teacher myself I would like to smack them upside the head because of their whinning stupidness.

Some grad student was complaining that her husband started working for the University and was not paid for 3 months and because they now have no union, which I thought they still did, they had not help with getting paid. Such a load of BS, all they had to do was contact WI Workforce Development. I know for a fact that they act fast when a complaint of no pay is made.

Liars lie. It is who they are, and what they do.

That screen shot should be run in TV commercials, put on billboards, inserted in newsaper and magazine ads. This is “only” a recall vote in a single state, it is only the beginning.

Checking for cemetery names, here are some epitaphs from actual tombstones:

Here lies Ann Mann,
Who lived an old maid
But died an old Mann.
Dec. 8, 1767

Here lies
Johnny Yeast
Pardon me
For not rising.

Sir John Strange
Here lies an honest lawyer,
And that is Strange.

Sad part: Their votes count as much as yours.

I mailed a donation to Friends of Scott Walker today.

What I want to know is, where the hell is the GOP? They should be leading the fight in both Ohio and Wisconsin. Why can’t the party leadership see that these two states are ground zero for everything they supposedly believe in?

[…] you can help Gov. Walker, please do. This is not good but this is […]

The “Establishment” GOP players do not like Scott so while they will support him they do not go out of their way to do so. The reason is because Scott does what is the right thing not necessarily what the GOP is telling him to do.
