Hope, Economic Literacy

Barack Obama flopped it in NH when he was heckled during a speech:

‘A lot of the folks who have been down in New York and all across the country, in the Occupy movement, there is a profound sense of frustration,’ he said. ‘There is a profound sense of frustration about the fact that the essence of the American Dream – which is if you work hard, if you stick to it, that you can make it – feels like that’s slipping away. And it’s not the way things are supposed to be. Not here. Not in America.’

It is not the first time the president has been interrupted. As USA Today reports, in recent months, he has also been heckled during speeches in San Francisco and West Hollywood.

Glad to see that people are finally realizing that this presidency has had sour effects.

Pres Obama would have had better luck with the Keynesian sympathizers in nearby Massachusetts.

Given that Obama has been reduced to the jingoistic “pass this bill,” I’m not surprised that anybody or everybody isn’t heckling him.

So the President cancels a pipeline deal that would have created hundreds of thousands of US jobs and then he whines that people are frustrated that the dream is slipping away but not only he is blameless, but also his policies would help. Chutzpah.
