If you missed the special moment this year, set your calendars for 12:12 on 12/12/12. That’s the only special date coming up for a long time, because, after all there’s no 13th month.
still not quite as special as 11:11:11 on 11/11/11, IMO since today was all the same digit (we’re allowed to ignore the “20”). It won’t happen again for a century.
Many years ago a high-school friend and I would, when out galavanting, encounter strange events – a streetlight winking out as we passed, a pedestrian or driver acting strangely, or some such. We noticed an unusual number of these events occurred at 11:11. From then on, whenever one of us would describe to the other an odd event in our lives, we’d look at each other and both cry out “It’s 11:11!”
Today I sent this fellow an email, and left him a phone message, at the appropriate time. Let’s see if he remembers.
