Another Iranian nuke scientist assassinated

Another Iranian nuke scientist assassinated

Via AP:

Gunmen on motorcycles assassinated an Iranian nuclear physicist on Saturday, Iranian media reports said, in a killing that bore similarities to other slayings of scientists involved in the country’s nuclear work in recent years.

The semi-official ISNA news agency identified the victim as Darioush Rezaei, a 35-year-old physics professor involved in Iran’s nuclear program, and said he was shot dead in front of his home in Tehran. Iran’s official IRNA news agency also reported the killing but had few details on the attack or the man’s background….

Rezaei’s expertise — neutron transport — lies at the heart of nuclear chain reactions in reactors and bombs.

I smell Mossad? If you can’t kill the program by bombing the facilities, take out the knowledge base.

Someday somebody is going to write an interesting book about all this…I honestly believe there’s a war raging right now against Iran…a very unconventional war…

“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.” Nuff said….we owe someone somewhere a debt of gratitude.

Speculation?

Sure. I’ll give it a go.

Mossad?

Too obvious, and unlikely.

Treachery in this part of the world is highly refined.

My money is on the Revolutionary Guard-

Allow me to indulge..

The Israeli’s “accidentally” leak intelligence that this scientist is about to defect, or is providing data to the Israeli’s to assist in their impending attack-

Dinnerjacket falls for the bait, because of his paranoid psychosis, but counters with more treachery that makes it plausible that he was killed by the Juice.

Why not?

If that were the case, why didn’t he just disappear, why so public an execution which only will scare other scientists they need, or better yet, follow the guy to see where it leads.

If the scientist were just to disappear, there would be ambiguity as to his demise. By a public assassination, the other scientists are well aware that the hit was the same as the first, about a year ago. Iamanutjob would rather lead or govern by fear. Sure, in sum I guess it could have been Mossad or some other pro-West agent, but this hit, like the first, strongly suggests to me an internal act designed to keep the others in line.

      Take good care,
      Sandy

Doesn’t matter who’s killing them. Just be happy that they’re out there. Because there’s only one alternative. Any second alternative is unthinkable.

Iran now says it was not a scientist but a “student” who was killed…

Iran says slain man was student, not nuclear scientist
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/official-news-agency-says-iranian-scientist-assassinated-tehran-150509670.html

“…TEHRAN, Iran – Iran said the victim of a deadly shooting Saturday was a university student — not a physicist involved in the disputed nuclear program as state media first reported.

A mix-up over the victim’s name apparently led to the confusion, the English-language Press TV said.

Initial reports said a pair of gunmen firing from motorcycles killed 35-year-old Darioush Rezaei, a physics professor whose area of expertise was neutron transport. Several news reports, including by the semi-official ISNA news agency, linked him to the country’s nuclear program.

But an investigation later determined the slain man was Darioush Rezaeinejad, an electronics student at Khajeh Nasir University in Tehran.

The initial reports raised concerns because the attack appeared similar to other recent assassinations of scientists that Tehran blamed on the U.S. and Israel…”

Rest at link.

I believe Iran is lying and I wouldn’t give two nickels for the lifespan of that electronic student. They say he’s dead and dead he will be. These guy on motorcycles could be anyone in the ME. No one wants Iran to get nukes. They’re all scared to death of that happening.

How many 35 year old students or professors can there be named Darioush Rezaei? There are so many countries and NGO’s that do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons capability, that we may never know who did this. Or it could even be a jilted lover, his wife who caught him cheating or he was planning on converting to Judaism.
