I live in Illinois outside Chicago and would be very surprised if he had anything really bad happen to him if it is determined by the State instead of the Feds. What do they call us “Graft Capital of US”?

I would be curious to know if the tapes of Blag’s conversation with Rahm Emanuel were played for the jury. Seems I read that the prosecution didn’t intent do introduce them. If so, could the defense not asked for them?

The best way to get out of this is say: “0bama put me up to it and told me to do it…” Dragging him into this will damage him severely, so that even if he isn’t convicted people will think twice about re-electing 0bama.

I happened to look up the definition of ‘sucker’ as in one that is gullible or easily duped. I never realized that the 1833 Oxford English Dictionary has one definition of sucker being an Illinoisan. Yes, seriously! As an Illinoisan, I am proud for never voting for him. Cook County rules out all 101 other counties unfortunately.
