Bill Maher Says Colleges and Universities Have Become ‘Indoctrination Centers’

“This is not just the beginning of the rot in higher education.”

It is impossible to disagree with Maher on this. He’s right.

Transcript by the Vigilant Fox:

MAHER: “Let’s talk about higher education, shall we? … University of Michigan.”

PETERS: “Where I went, yes… I wish I wouldn’t have had grades. That would have been great!”

MAHER: “Right. They are going to no grades now, and the reason given…”

BASH: “Just as freshmen or for the whole thing?”

MAHER: “I’m not sure about that. Doesn’t matter. It’s ridiculous! And they’re saying it because sometimes a kid gets a bad grade and it makes them sad.”

[Audience groans]

MAHER: “I’m not making that up!”

MAHER: “I mean, I know Trump University is a scam, but when there’s no grades, isn’t that a scam too?”

“This is not just the beginning of the rot in higher education. It started long ago when they stopped teaching people things because they became indoctrination centers.”

Comments

Maher: “Is it conceivable that the Emperor is not properly dressed for the occasion?”
MAGA: [correct catchphrase left as an exercise to the reader]

Maher finally noticed something the rest of us have been saying for the better part of a century.

That was a “Duh” moment. This dose of him tonight maxes out what I can stand from him this year.

Stanford has been all pass/fail for decades.
Hardest part of a degree is getting accepted.
