Houthis Escalate Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Reportedly Fire Ballistic Missiles at Oil Tanker
The Iranian proxy terror group continues drone attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure.
A week after Houthis declared a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia, the Iranian-backed terrorist group is ramping up attacks on the kingdom’s energy infrastructure. The Islamic terrorist group reportedly fired multiple ballistic missiles at a Saudi oil tanker. “Yemen’s Houthis said on Tuesday that they had fired ballistic missiles at a Saudi oil tanker, accusing the vessel of violating what they described as their maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea and ignoring warning calls,” The Jerusalem Post reported.
The Houthis say they attacked a Saudi oil tanker NCC GHAZAL with several ballistic missiles “for violating the maritime blockade imposed on the Saudi enemy.”

This marks the second major attack of its kind in less than a week. Last Wednesday, the Houthis claimed responsibility for attacking two Saudi-owned oil tankers, releasing video footage showing shipments engulfed in flames.
Saudi Arabia’s air defenses, backed by the U.S. and Western allies, continue to thwart Houthi drone attacks. “Saudi Arabia said Monday it had intercepted a “number of drones” that Iran-backed militias in Iraq had launched at the kingdom’s oil facilities,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “Riyadh demanded in a statement that Iraq take “all necessary measures to ensure the prevention of the use of its territory as a launching point” for attacks.”
The Houthis are carrying out the offensive in coordination with Iran. The Mullah regime wants to use the escalation to strengthen its position in the ongoing conflict with the United States. As we reported in mid-July, the IRGC “ordered the Houthi terrorist group to close the Strategic Red Sea Strait of Bab el-Mandeb if the U.S. intensifies its military strikes.”
The Iranian proxy terrorist group appears to be employing the IRGC’s tactic of attacking ships and tankers in the Red Sea Strait of Bab el-Mandeb, effectively closing the region’s second busiest waterway after the Strait of Hormuz. Bab el-Mandeb carries around 7% of the world’s energy supplies.
With Iran disrupting shipping in the Hormuz waterway, Saudi Arabia has been diverting its oil and gas exports through the Bab el-Mandeb. Yemen’s interim government, which does not include the Houthis, was “increasingly worried that the Tehran-backed rebels were copying Iranian manoeuvres in the Strait of Hormuz to gain control over the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, a crucial passage into the Red Sea off the Yemeni coast,” the TV channel France24 reported Tuesday.

In addition to blockading Saudi oil and gas exports, the Houthis are targeting the Arab kingdom’s energy infrastructure. “Houthis said on Monday they targeted a number of sensitive crude oil supply and transport sites linking eastern Saudi Arabia to the critical Red Sea oil export hub of Yanbu,” Reuters reported.

PDT, this is what you’ll get if you continue with the deal BS. Proxy wars. The only deal to be made with the islamic trash is unconditional surrender. Nothing more, nothing less. Keep hitting them until they scream for mercy.
Iran urged the Houthis to act and they have said they will not abandon Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The US hasn’t bombed Iran the last three nights. I’ve read both this is because there is some negotiation going on and because the US is gearing up for something big. I don’t know what.
The Saudi’s have large AF including over 200 F15. They should be able to take care of business against the Houthis. One thing I don;t know is how good there pilots are. Are they real pilots or pampered sons of their nobility and well connected.
On another note Trump wants to sell Turkey F35s because their jumped little nazi of a leader has been good to him. Not good to the US but to him. The Israel’s are against it of course but this just pissed Trump off and he threw a mini-tantrum.
This just goes to show that the way to Trump’s heart is not through his stomach but through his ego. All the Iranians have to do is flatter him and he’d likely want to give them everything they want. However being stupid they threaten him so Trump wants to bomb them instead.
We see this dynamic playing out with Trump over and over again. We see it with politicians home and abroad. For Trump it’s likely not about the US but about Trump all the time. I actually have no problems with this as long as what Trump wants is aligned with what is best for the US.

Well I could probably make a whole list of targets but I’ll throw one out – Pick Axe Mountain where they do nuclear research, underground, and might have moved some or all of their uranium enrichment centrifuges to. If Trump was serious about Iran not having nuclear weapons then why this facility still exists escapes me.

Interesting article, Thanks, I’m not sure I like the trend of where this is going not that my opinion matters at all. If things peter out now than all the bombing after destruction of the first nuclear site has been a waste and done nothing but degrade my stock portfolio. I suppose time will tell, or not.

Saudis pilots are pretty good. (Trained by the US)
Not as good as US pilots are.
But I think that’s because of the massive amount of real world experience US pilots have since we’ve been at war for quite awhile.
Put all that military hardware we’ve sold them over the years to work for once.
The Saudis have already used all their weapons against the Houthis.
And lost.
They had to pull out in defeat.

The Saudi’s should attack Kharg Island and destroy the irgc/mullah cash machine. Tell them stop the houthis or that’s what comes next. The Gulf States all need to grow a pair and stop letting the irgc do this asymmetrical crap.

I saw that the Iranian protestors tried to stop a public execution yesterday.
Eventually those who are oppressed are going to fight back, and when they finally do they will fight with such ferocity.
At the moment they’re still scared to rise up.
What are they supposed to rise up with? Sticks and stones? “Ferocity” doesn’t mean anything nowadays when facing down modern weaponry.

The Saudis launched 20,000 plus air strikes and sent in troops.
USA helped with special forces, and intelligence and aerial refueling.
This resulted in a stalemate.
UAE and Oman pulled out.
Saudis brokered a shaky ceasefire and went home.
You have to realize that civilian deaths and destruction of the economy is what Shiites, like Houthis and IRGC want.
It’s part of their religious end of the world thinking.
This martyrdom will bring about the return of the Mahdi.
And the triumph of Shiite Islam.
Hamas has embraced this thinking as well, Even though they are Sunni. Civilian deaths and economic destruction have been excellent propaganda.
This kind of thinking is alien to Westerners.
Impossible to understand.
So go ahead and bomb all you want.
They will never surrender.
They want to die, be martyred and go to Paradise.
And bring their families along with them, willing or not.
