UVA Students Criticize Presence of Tampon Dispensers in Men’s Restrooms
“They shouldn’t be in the men’s bathroom because such a device is to be used by women—who already have their own, separate bathroom”
The country has moved on from this idiocy, but not higher education.
Campus Reform reports:
‘Weird, totally unnecessary, and absurd’: UVA students raise concerns over tampon dispensers in men’s restrooms
Students at the University of Virginia (UVA) are criticizing the presence of tampon dispensers in men’s restrooms across multiple buildings around campus. The dispensers offer both tampons and pads free of charge, and students say they are consistently stocked.
A student in the commerce school raised concerns to Campus Reform over the use of university resources. UVA is a public university funded by taxpayer dollars.
“Whenever the dispensers are in male restrooms, I just think it is a waste of university resources,” the individual said. “Instead of focusing on rising costs like tuition and food, the university is pursuing policy initiatives that don’t meaningfully help the student body.”
A fourth-year student studying public policy at UVA told Campus Reform that the dispensers stood out to him when he first saw them.
“I saw them in Old Cabell Hall and thought they were odd,” the student said.
One first-year student expressed confusion to Campus Reform about the placement, stating, “I think seeing these in a men’s restroom is weird, totally unnecessary, and absurd.”
A second-year student criticized the dispensers’ presence, telling Campus Reform that they should only be in women’s restrooms.
“They shouldn’t be in the men’s bathroom because such a device is to be used by women—who already have their own, separate bathroom,” the student said.
A third-year criticized the policy on an ideological level when asked if he had seen the dispensers on campus.
“I’ve seen them. I find it both gross and insulting to God. Men will never be able to menstruate, and we need to stop playing pretend and get real. It is common sense to get rid of silly policies such as tampons in men’s restrooms,” he told Campus Reform. ”Overall, society should return to respecting and honoring the inherent biological differences between men and women.”

“Off to gulag with you Nazis!”
Stop encouraging gender dysphoria. Its unethical. Like encouraging body positivity for the morbidly obese.
Is that what those are?
I thought they were awkwardly placed waterless urinals.
