Trump Warns Strikes to Resume at ‘Higher Level Than Before’ if Iran Rejects 14-Point Deal

Trump Warns Strikes to Resume at ‘Higher Level Than Before’ if Iran Rejects 14-Point Deal

Amid infighting, Tehran sends mixed signals.

President Donald Trump warned the Iranian regime on Wednesday that the U.S. would resume strikes “at a much higher level and intensity” if a proposed deal is not accepted. The ultimatum comes as both sides reportedly near a deal on a 14-point agreement presented by the White House.

“Assuming Iran agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is, perhaps, a big assumption, the already legendary Epic Fury will be at an end, and the highly effective Blockade will allow the Hormuz Strait to be OPEN TO ALL, including Iran,” President Trump posted on Truth Social. “If they don’t agree, the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before.”

President Trump gave Tehran one week to respond to his proposal, Fox News reported Wednesday evening.

Earlier on Wednesday, Axios reported that the U.S. was “getting close to an agreement with Iran” aimed at “end[ing] the war,” and launching “detailed nuclear negotiations.”

The report claimed that the White House was willing to make significant concessions. “Among other provisions, the deal would involve Iran committing to a moratorium on nuclear enrichment, the U.S. agreeing to lift its sanctions and release billions in frozen Iranian funds, and both sides lifting restrictions around transit through the Strait of Hormuz,” the news website continued.

Amid infighting, Tehran sends mixed signals

Tehran is considering the U.S. proposal, the regime-run media claimed. “An American proposal to end the war with Iran is still being considered, an Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson tells Iranian news agency ISNA,” the BBC reported Wednesday afternoon. “In an interview with ISNA, Esmail Baghaei says that Iran is sharing its views on the US proposal with Pakistani mediators.”

Highlighting infighting within the regime, Iran’s powerful National Security Council reportedly rejected the U.S. proposal. “A spokesperson of Iran’s National Security Council says the contents of a reported one-page memorandum aimed at ending the war reads ‘more like an American wish list than reality,'” Sky News (UK) reported around the same time.

The movement in the talks comes after President Trump, on Tuesday, paused the Project Freedom, a naval mission to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Writing on Truth Social on Tuesday, President Trump said that “Great Progress has been made toward a Complete and Final Agreement with Representatives of Iran.” The Project Freedom “will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed,” he concluded.

Mixed signals means playing games and stalling for time as usual. There is no worthwhile deal to be made. Resume strikes now. Stop talking and wasting political capitol.

hmmmm

how can we strike them “harder”??

we’d have to move into lebanon or iran with massive military engineering etc to truly f them up if we are not willing to nuke them

or ..and this wont happen…take china to task for propping up the mullahs and be prepared to militarily take on china b/c we best not make any threats towards china we arent willing to back up

I thought he needed congressional approval to start blowing stuff up again.

Or did Iran commit enough jackassery that they reset the clock?

Trump claims the ceasefire effectively ended the military action. If he starts bombing again, it’s now a “new” military action and the clock does restart.

Trump is being played. Iran thinks slow walking an agreement is winning (and they arent wrong, with gas prices at 4.25+).

Every ship they attack should be met with a bomb. Start sinking their commercial fleet of tankers; bomb the railways carrying oil to China; bomb the piers where the tankers load. IRGC (like Hamas and Hezbollah) will never surrender. They are religious zealots.

Trump needs to get other Iranians to kill the IRGC.

I had read somewhere else the Kurds or whomever we armed to be stepping up are not stepping up.

Funny that Iran was gleefully sending their proxies into Iraq to cause us trouble. You’d think Iraq would return the favor.

IRGC has the cool toys and guns. They hold loyalty by controlling the banks and payments. Want a job? stick with the IRGC. Plus, they mow down protestors in the street. Seems unlikely to me that Iranians will be going against the IRGC anytime soon.

Ain’t gonna happen. Iran has too many fanatics backing the IRGC up. The IRGC+ the Basij is probably about 4 million people, and there could be a recruitment pool of 5-10 million more.

I think Trump is more worried about nitrogen fertilizer prices than gas prices – which are up by 70%. There are Senate races in farm states like Iowa and Nebraska.

“… if Iran Rejects 14-Point Deal”

I’m not sure the word “Iran” in that phrase has any meaning.

Is Obama president again? Asking for a friend.

Trump is really screwing the pooch on this one. Is he still hopeful that he’ll get that worthless Nobel?

These scum are just stringing him along. They have no intention of agreeing to do anything even if they say they agree.

Wake up, Mr. President!!!

the cheapness of the drones is allowing the dnc of the middle east to continue their fight against the israelis and that minor victory(ies) is changing how to handle iran

again,, as stated many times,, sure build an f-35 or 2

but invest in the drones as this is a strategy whose time has come a few years back but is now showing how the left has figured out,,once again,, how to use low tech instruments to thwart “Superior” forces

we still are behind the eight ball on this one that we should have learned from, viet nam

The thing is, even if they ‘agree’ they’ll just go back on their word in the future. The best path forward is to keep killing until all the mullahs are dead.

Trump should remove the Mullahs from power instead of finding a negotiated settlement. The next Dem president we surrender to their demands in exchange for huge bribes like Quisling Joe.

Well, these 7th Century scumbags only understand “Siege Warfare”. That’s what the Assyrians practiced, as well as the Babylonians, Medes and Persians. When they finish eating the last of their own children, then they’ll relent. Right now, nothing is more important to them than having the freedom to sponsor terrorism and to obtain nuclear weapons with which to menace the world. Pray for the innocents in Iran.

If Trump makes a deal that leaves the Regime in power, then the entire war will have been for nothing – the Regime will have won, and the Iranian people betrayed.
