May Day Protests: Over 20 North Carolina School Districts Cancel Classes

Around 600 groups that bring in $2 billion a year have backed 6,000 May Day events.

May Day protests have popped up all over the country because, well, it’s the only thing the left knows how to do.

It also makes sense since it’s associated with communists and socialists. Gotta rep the red, am I right?!

Around 600 groups that bring in $2 billion a year have backed 6,000 May Day events.

But, as usual, the leftists cannot abandon their true pet projects: Israel, ICE, Trump, climate, and Iran!

North Carolina

The most egregious offense occurred in North Carolina, when teachers walked out of class to attend a rally at Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh.

Their decision led to over 20 school districts canceling classes.

The North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) had the nerve to name the rally “Kids Over Corporations.”

These educators love students so much that they decided to skip a day of teaching to protest.

“Nearly 20 school districts across the state have made the powerful choice to support their workers,” the NCAE wrote on Facebook. “It’s a strong reminder of what’s possible when we unite in support of our colleagues and students!”

The last-minute schedule change ticked off parents, forcing them to make last-minute plans to find care for their children.

The teachers demand higher pay and more resources. But, um, the far-left cannot help themselves.

Washington DC

The DC protesters blocked major roadways, making it hard for people to go to work.

We can’t all be professional protesters, ya know.

They’re all spouting out the same old anti-Trump rhetoric, wearing their keffiyahs. Let’s even brag about blocking roads!

Chicago

Ah, yes, sweet home Chicago, the birthplace of America’s May Day celebration.

Kids could skip school, with the Chicago Public Schools District providing buses for students and employees to attend the rally.

“Only 4% of Chicago Public School (CPS) students in grades 3 through 8 can read at grade level and 40% of students are chronically absent, according to the most recent Illinois Report Card data,” Fox News reported.

New York City

It wouldn’t be a day of protests without one in New York City! May Day Strong NYC, New York Immigration Coalition, AFL-CIO, and other labor groups organized protests across the five boroughs.

These leftists started off strong by attempting to storm the New York Stock Exchange and chaining themselves to the doors.

It is amazing! These rallies are really well planned, well organized and, it turns out, well funded. Most of these anti-billionaire protests are being funded by, you guessed it, billionaires.

‘Demanding health care and green jobs’….OK as part of your sentencing you are now assigned to a rural work camp. Lots of exercise in the great outdoors, good for weight loss, mobility, natural vitamin D, fresh air away from smog filled cities…there’s some healthcare. Y’all gonna work stoop farm labor to plant then pick crops/glean the fields and outside the planting/harvest times gonna do ditch digging, erosion control, repairing trails (maybe even bike trails), clearing brush and ladder fuels from forests. There’s your ‘green job’.

We have let too many people into NC over the years. Too bad we can’t use a passport-visa system to weed out the Dems.

Democrats being themselves all over the country. There was an active CWP, communist workers party, in NC near all the now shuttered textile mills. They got in a ‘shoot out’ with some good ole boys who were supposed to be the Nazi/Klan remnants from years ago. Both they and the mills are gone.

California needed to do that in the 1950s.

Does the constitution allow us to napalm these protests? Asking for a friend.

I’m sure the CCP is watching the news and laughing their heads off. They probably have a couple of their cable channels devoted to stupid westerners and the games they play.

The Democratic Party of mental illness and pro communism at it again.
If the U.S. is that bad they should leave. America love it or leave it.

The vile, stupid and evil Dhimmi-crats are making a conscious and gleeful decision to go full-communist and full-Islamofascist, as they goose-step their way to hell.

Teacher’s Unions: “Let’s dress up in stupid outfits, say stupid things, and show America what kind of insane idiots to which they entrust their children!”
