Ukraine’s Zelenskyy Bizarrely Picks Fight With Israel Over Grain Deliveries

Kyiv claims a Russian ship carrying ‘stolen’ Ukrainian grain is headed to Israel’s Haifa port.

As war rages in the country’s east, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has picked a bizarre fight with Israel.

Accusing Israel of buying grain stolen from areas occupied ‌by Russia, he asked Europe to place sanctions on the country.

The European Union, perpetually obsessed with Israel, appeared eager to penalize Israel at the behest of Ukraine. “The European Union said it was mulling sanctions on Israeli individuals and entities aiding Russia,” the far-left Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported.

Earlier this week, Ukraine claimed that a Russian ship carrying ‘stolen’ grain was heading towards the Israeli port of Haifa. According to the Israeli government, Ukraine did not provide any evidence. What made Ukraine’s actions even more curious was that Zelenskyy issued those threats before Israel could even verify the claims.

Zelenskyy has singled out Israel without proper scrutiny, while ignoring the fact that Russia is selling ‘stolen’ grain to other countries, including Turkey.

Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar, “explained that the vessel in question had not yet entered Haifa port and had yet to submit its documents, which meant it was not possible to verify Ukrainian claims that the document detailing the cargo had been forged,” the BBC reported Tuesday.

The British broadcaster continued:

“The Ukrainian government has not submitted a request for legal assistance. It has submitted tweets. This is required when the claims concern criminal acts committed abroad,” he said. “Nor has the Ukrainian government provided evidence for its claims.”

Saar added: “We reject Twitter diplomacy and we will not be influenced by that. We say again to our Ukrainian friends: If you have any evidence of theft, submit it through the appropriate channels.”

The diplomatic onslaught against Israel comes as Ukraine forges strategic partnerships with Turkey and Qatar, both countries hostile to the Jewish State.

Last month, Ukraine signed a lucrative defense deal with Qatar. “Ukraine signed a 10-year defence agreement with Qatar … as part of a series of deals with Gulf countries to counter missile and drone threats,” the France24 TV channel reported last March. “Kyiv is seeking to leverage its battlefield expertise and secure new partnerships amid rising regional tensions.” Qatar shelters Hamas’s terrorist leadership and uses the state-funded Al Jazeera to peddle pro-Hamas propaganda in the Arab and Muslim world. Recently surfaced evidence suggests that Qatar may have used its sway over the International Criminal Court (ICC) to orchestrate a witch hunt against Prime Minister Netanyahu and other Israeli officials.

Ukraine also seeks close ties with its Black Sea neighbour, Turkey. Under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey is pursuing a neo-Ottoman imperial policy, trying to position itself as a central authority within the Islamic world.

British weekly The Economist commented last week that “American unreliability is creating conditions for new alliances of convenience” in the region and “Ukraine’s quest for new friends takes it to Turkey and Syria.” Under its Islamist ruler, Ahmed al-Sharaa, Syria is now a satellite in Turkey’s regional sphere.

He really has other more pressing problems.

If Ukraine wants to partner with Turkey and Syria while egging on the EU for more Israeli hatred we should have nothing to do with them. Let them fight their own battles with their own arms.

Let’s see if TC switches his support from Russia to Ukraine since Ukraine is now in bed with his patron Qatar,

Notice how quiet the leftist and RINO media have gotten about Ukraine.

They just don’t even want to talk about it.

From SLAVA UKRAINE THE FIGHT OF OUR GENERATION WE MUST SEND MONEY to absolute silence.

Tells you everything you need to know.

The vile leftists/Labour/Dhimmi-crats are all about the temporary, fleeting cause du jour. Their outrage is totally contrived, performative and self-indulgent.

Ukraine was the cause du jour, followed by cheerleading for the genocidal Hamas Muslim terrorist thugs. In Washington, D.C., almost all of the “Free ‘Palestine’ ” lawn signs have been removed, as the wretched Dhimmi-crats move on to their next ideological obsession/abomination.

Ukraine was useful when it was a Democrat money laundering operation. That was the basis for the jihad against Trump even leading to an impeachment attempt for his asking that the corruption be looked into. Now that Trump is back in the WH and the money spigot has been turned off the Dems no longer care.

I’m so old, I remember when Ukraine was a life-or-death concern for the US.

turkey is one of the other hidden anti maga pro dnc entities that could use getting their drumsticks obliterated

It is long past time for the U.S. to drop the diplomatic fiction that pretends that Turkey, Qatar and Pakistan are U.S. allies.

Among other so called ‘allies’ who feign friendship with the USA. In reality most of these ‘allies’ erect massive trade barriers (both tariff and non tariff) against US exports, free ride off US Military protective umbrella, attempt extraterritorial jurisdiction to punish US companies/consumers, constantly harangue and carp against the USA and the economic/Nat Security interests of our Citizens.

Review them all and cut loose those who have policies that work against the USA. Reward those who offer genuine respect/friendship and don’t seek to exploit the People of the USA.

Yet here was the King
BEgging America to ship plane loads of cash to Ukraine

Let Qatar fill that void , then they will fill Ukraine with muzzies

The only result of the West continuing to funding this war is more Ukrainians will be dead.

Stop the funding!

Stop the deaths!

Ukraine should have implemented the deal they initialed.

I am tired of this sniveling SOB. Wasn’t he was in cahoots with the Biden’s? Let him go suck on the Qatar teat.

Yelling “Israel” is the vile leftists’/Labour’s/Dhimmi-crats’ “Look; a squirrel!” distraction tactic.

Zelenskyy is desperately attempting to extend the war because the minute the war ends he will be forced to conduct the long delayed Ukrainian presidential election and at that time the little bastard will be summarily thrown out of office in favor of someone, anyone, else as he’s made no friends in the military nor in the general population. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yep. Gotta ‘defend democracy’ by sending more cash, more missiles, more ordinance, more.equipment to support the dude who,.among other things:
    1. Refuses to allow elections
    2. Took over control of TV/Radio to limit criticism
    3. Jailed Clergy en masse
    4. Purged dissenting politicians opposition political parties
    5. Expanded the Azov Brigade, promoted its nazi leaders
    6. Fostered massive corruption in everything from military recruiting to disappearing funds granted by foreign gov’t
    7. Insanely decided to challenge/PO both DJT and Vance at a public event in the dang WH putting his own ego above the well-being of his Nation

Cut the boondoggle and let this nut deal with reality and the reality is Ukraine can’t win a fight with Russia. Lightweights can’t beat Heavyweights simple as that but this idiot’s ego and the delusional, grifters eager to posture and virtue signal by supporting him refuse to see the truth.

Looks like the Russian fanboys and antisemite losers are joining up here on LI attempting to muddy the waters a bit. Pathetic, but typical. They both share the delusional fantasy that reasonable people can be confused if they lie hard enough.

Legitimately criticizing and scrutinizing Zelenskyy isn’t “anti-Semitic.”

It’s exceptionally infantile and stupid to posit that it is.

Infantile and stupid. That seems to describe Zelenskyy fanboi Dean Robinson to a tee. Infantile and stupid.

I noticed you avoided any specific claims about what was/wasn’t factual. Instead you serve up ad hominem attacks marinated in vague generalities. How about Ukraine for the Ukrainians and if their neighbors in EU wish to continue sending funding their cats paw out of a sense of guilt for using them they are more than welcome to do so….but without US assistance. We’ve got our own fish to fry.

There’s no white hats in the Russia/Ukraine conflict that’s been going on/off hot/cold for decades…just a bunch of self serving goons beating the drums of war. If two Eastern European egomaniacal goon dictators want to go at each other that’s between them. At most it is a European issue to deal with. The USA is in a different hemisphere and dealing with the accumulated trash, some of which was long enabled by the same European Nations and lefty surrogates, while simultaneously trying to put an end to the Iranian regime, declaw their ability to hold oil markets hostage and end their near five decades of exporting terrorism. Don’t see many European ‘allies’ prominently assisting the USA to accomplish those tasks.
