Anti-Israel Activists Target Jewish Students at U. Minnesota
“the group encouraged protesters to bring pots, pans, whistles, and instruments to make noise outside the event and cause disruption”
The Jewish students invited a speaker that the activists didn’t like. That’s all it takes.
Campus Reform reports:
‘Noise demo’ targets Jewish students, Chabad House at UMN
Jewish students at the University of Minnesota were targeted after anti-Israel activists protested outside the campus Chabad House during a Shabbat dinner featuring a speaker who served in the IDF.
Before the event on April 17, a campus chapter of Students for a Democratic Society (UMN SDS) promoted a “noise demo,” where the group encouraged protesters to bring pots, pans, whistles, and instruments to make noise outside the event and cause disruption.
In a post uploaded onto Instagram by the UMN SDS, the group made a plea to students to bring materials and friends “to make lots of noise,” and as a means to make it “clear that UMN does not support genocide.”
However, following the event and adjoining protest, graffiti was discovered on sidewalks outside of the Chabad House that included phrases like “Death to the IDF,” “Child Killers,” “Free Gaza,” and “IDF murderers supported here.”
In a statement issued by Alums for Campus Fairness, the group outlined the phrases that were found, while also condemning the incident and calling the protest outside the Chabad House a “targeted disruption.”
Alums for Campus Fairness outlined that after the chalking was discovered, it was removed by the Chabad’s student board, which then replaced it with images of flowers, hearts, and peace signs.
In a video uploaded to Instagram from the protest outside the Chabad House, protesters can be seen chanting phrases like “Free, Free, Palestine!” and booing an individual who was holding an Israeli flag and wearing a yarmulke. At least one protester can also be heard yelling “F**k you!” at the individual.

Jews, it’s time to leave, especially if you have young children.
The USA is still safer than Israel. There are a lot of very good reasons for Jews to return home, but this isn’t one of them.
The water’s getting warmer. You don’t feel it.
The water in Israel is warm too.
Again, Israel is a Jew’s natural home. But it’s not safer than the USA, and it’s not likely to become safer than the USA any time soon.
Safety is defined in different ways.
You don’t get it. And it’s not my job to teach you. I recommend you look at current events and trends in the US with an eye on history.
If you’re going to die, better to die on your feet fighting. In the US you will live and die on your knees.
Oh, yes. Let’s wring our hands, wail “oy vey’s meer!” and pack essential belongings and flee again.
Bull oney!
It is time for Jews to fight back and fight hard. Find the people doing bad things to Jew on campus and introduce them to things that will not pass muster with the comment cen50rs.
Less Woody Allen-stye sniveling and a lot more Meir Kahane.
And it’s a lot easier to do that in a red state in the USA than it is in the ultra-“blue” State of Israel, where there is no bill of rights and the elected government has no control of anything significant.
It’s more basic for me, Milhouse. This is my home, Not some baking hot desert full of people speaking a language I do not understand, read, or speak.
Doesn’t Minneapolis have noise regulations?! Why didn’t the police enforce them?
You actually expect police to DO anything, much less for a Jewish group?
Please…!
why not follow the leftists home to see where they sleep and do the same outside their place of sleep!!!?!!!!
Do more. See above.
