Search Continues For Missing F-15 Pilot as Trump Tells Tehran to “Make a Deal” or “All Hell Will Reign Down”

Search Continues For Missing F-15 Pilot as Trump Tells Tehran to “Make a Deal” or “All Hell Will Reign Down”

Israel reportedly suspends some strikes to avoid interfering with the U.S. search-and-rescue mission.

U.S. rescue teams are racing against time as the search for the missing F-15 crew member enters its second day. The missing airman, a weapons systems officer, ejected along with the pilot of the downed F-15E over southern Iran.

In a daring rescue, the pilot was extracted as Iranian regime forces and militias were closing in on the area. “Two helicopters also took part in the search and rescue mission and successfully retrieved the F-15E pilot who had ejected, officials said,” CBS News reported Friday. “The helicopter carrying the recovered pilot was hit by small arms fire, wounding crew members on board, according to the officials, who said the helicopter landed safely.”

With the search-and-rescue mission underway, President Donald Trump told the Mullahs in Tehran to agree to his terms or “all Hell will reign down on them.”

“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Glory be to GOD!” he concluded.

The president is following the developing situation. According to Fox News, “President Donald Trump has been briefed on an F-15E fighter jet that went down over Iran.”

U.S. pilots and servicemen were carrying out the mission with great courage as they flew low, braving enemy fire. A single-pilot A-10 Thunderbolt crashed near the Straits of Hormuz. The pilot was safely rescued.

NBC News reported Saturday:

A U.S. aircraft that was mobilized to support the search and rescue mission was also struck by Iranian fire after the F-15E jet was downed, a U.S. official told NBC News.

That aircraft, a single-pilot A-10 Thunderbolt, known as a Warthog, made it to Kuwaiti airspace, where the pilot ejected and the aircraft crashed, the official said. The pilot is safe and the A-10 is down in Kuwait, according to the official.

Operation Epic Fury (Day 36): Israeli Air Force degrades Iran’s air defense capabilities, strikes HQ of ‘Quds Force Lebanon Corps’ in Beirut

With U.S. fighter jets and helicopters conducting a large-scale rescue mission, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued its strikes on Iran’s air defense systems. Reports suggest that Israel is prioritizing the airmen’s rescue, calling off strikes that could potentially disrupt the U.S. mission.

The Israeli fighter jets are targeting Iranian air defense systems and ballistic missile capabilities. On Friday, “the IDF struck regime aerial defense sites, including an IRGC aerial defense site where missiles intended to target aircraft were stored,” the military said on Saturday. “In addition, the IDF struck a military site responsible for safeguarding the regime’s weapons research and development facilities.”

“Simultaneously, the IDF struck a site where ballistic missiles were stored, along with additional weapons production, research and development sites,” the IDF added. “These completed strikes are part of the ongoing phase of increasing damage to the Iranian terror regime’s core systems and foundations.”

As the operation Epic Fury enters its sixth week, Israeli fighter jets struck the command center of Iran’s Quds Force Lebanon Corps in Beirut. “The IDF completed an additional wave of strikes targeting command centers belonging to the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps in Beirut,” the IDF said on Saturday.

On Friday, “the IDF completed a wave of strikes targeting terror infrastructure sites across Lebanon,” the military disclosed. “The IDF struck a command center belonging to the Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps. The Lebanon Corps serves as a liaison between Hezbollah and the Iranian terror regime and supports Hezbollah’s force buildup and military entrenchment.”

The latest wave of strikes also targeted the Iranian proxy Hezbollah and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist groups. “In addition, the IDF struck two headquarters of the PIJ terror organization, which were utilized by the organization’s senior officials for decision-making and coordination with Hezbollah,” the IDF statement added. “Likewise, the Israeli Navy struck a Hezbollah observation post.”

“Make a Deal”

Unfortunately this is what happens when you elect a real estate developer.

Look, he shouldn’t be setting deadlines or terms for the wars end. Just prosecute the war until either our goals are reached, whatever they are, or they sue for peace.

The A-10 Warthog once again lives up to its reputation for legendary battlefield durability.

This plane needs to have a successor model developed.

Current one seems pretty good. The only things to worry about is the wear and tear on the airframe and the cost of ongoing maintenance.

The air force keeps trying to retire it so they can buy fancy new fighters. They want to retire the f-22 for the same reason. However, every time there is some sort of conflict it sees use and comes in handy. Frankly they should retire any generals who want to retire since it is probably more useful than they are.

No, it needs to go back into production. Arguably, this is the most significant airframe in modern times.

The A-10 was built by Fairchild Republic. It no longer exists. Its assets, or at least some of them are owned by the Israel company Ebit. What this means is the manufacturing line no longer exists. I don’t know if the plans and all the necessary documentation still exist. By way of reference no more F-22s can be built because everything needed was purposely destroyed during the Obama administration.

One of the two from the F15 still has yet to be rescued. Breaking news earlier today was that radio contact was made. The A10 pilot was also rescued.

I’m afraid no one is listening to Trump threats anymore.

That is a mistake the mooolahs made and paid dearly for.

The moolahs don’t view that fact the same way. Their cause is spiritual. If only a handful of moos survive, in their way of thinking, they win with whatever IRGC might be left. Unknown is how many Iranian citizens are now armed and trained enough to rise up and take their country. Hope there are many thousands.

Speaking of different expectations, remember the end of Gulf War 1 when we obliterated Saddam’s entire military but left him in power? He was shocked to be left alive and in power. To Saddam, he had won the war.

In a case like this you’d think people could put aside their differences for a day or two. You’d think there would be an unqualified “We stand united behind our military until this airman is safe” from the Democrat leadership. But if you thought that you’d be wrong.

The airman and the teams looking for him deserve every possible advantage, including the knowledge that their country has their back. There are moments—like an American in enemy territory with the clock ticking—where basic solidarity for the uniform should not be an unrealistic expectation.

If the A-10 went down near the strait, it was not participating in the rescue mission. (Look at the map of where the search is supposedly taking place.)

What many do not understand is that AA gun fire is not radar controlled and is still deadly. It is a three man gun with the aimer, loader and operator. It is all human and there is no electronic signature coming from it to shoot a missile at. It is usually towed by a truck or small vehicle and unless it is seen visually, cannot be detected. Jane Traitor Fonda sat on one in North Vietnam. Most are 37mm which is a big shell if it hits a plane.

First, I wasn’t saying anything about that.
Second, SOME AAA is not radar-guided. Some is. MANPADs are point-and-click. Even some SAMs can be fired without the ground radar being on, except very briefly. It’s a smorgasbord, honestly.

Trump talks too much, he started this war, now he needs to fight it like he means it!

Paid 3.47 for gas today, and that was with .51 cents of stacked deals.

At 3.98 for gas, I don’t know how much more winning the American consumer can take. The Straight of Hormuz needs to open soon. After Evergreen, which blocked the Suez, it took 6 months for traffic to normalize. Trump better be ready to face a Democratic House and Democratic Senate.

You know what’s really funny DWB? We don’t get our gas from the strait! What does that tell you about OUR oil companies!

Absolutely nothing except that the overall market drives prices. Only way to avoid it would be to destroy the market.

What it tells me is that you don’t understand how Global oil markets work. Which is sad, coming from a so-called Republican. 20% of the world’s oil goes through the Strait of Hormuz. With that supply choked off, it leaves the remaining 80% to satisfy world demand. When a commodity is 20% scarcer, prices go up accordingly worldwide

So did BHO broker a deal between France and Iran to save their ships in the Strait? Islamo-Marxist coalition looks very much alive.
