J.B. Pritzker Floats Prosecuting Trump Officials Under Dem ‘Project 2029’

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker claimed in a recent interview that Democrats will hold certain people from the Trump administration ‘accountable’ through criminal and civil prosecutions under a plan called Project 2029.
Remember, before the 2024 election, how the media hyped panic about Project 2025, a policy recommendation document from the Heritage Foundation? I doubt we’ll see the same hand-wringing over this.

Illinois Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker said Democrats should seek criminal prosecution against Trump administration and law enforcement officials who have “broken the law” if they were to gain control of the White House in 2028.
Pritzker, who is running for a third gubernatorial term, sat down for an interview with The New York Times and proposed Democrats adopt their own version of Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation’s conservative policy blueprint for presidential administrations released in nearly every election cycle since the 1980s.
Pritzker dubbed the Democrats’ counter “Project 2029,” urging it to be quickly implemented to “restore the rule of law.”
“I don’t think you can speak of it in shorthand, but we’ve got to restore the rule of law, and that means holding people accountable who’ve broken the law,” Pritzker said. “I’m talking about the people in this administration who’ve broken the law and federal agents who’ve broken the law.”
New York Times reporter Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked Pritzker whether this meant Trump officials and law enforcement agents would face criminal prosecution.
“Criminally prosecuted, civilly prosecuted,” Pritzker said. “Whatever it is that we can do.”

For months now, Democrats have been shrieking about Trump being on a ‘revenge tour.’ What do they call this?
It’s probably safe to assume some of this is just performative. Pritzker is likely to run in 2028, and this is an obvious attempt to excite the Dem base. They love talking about Trump and his people going to jail.

Actually, fat improves buoyancy. I speak from experience.
Yeah I used to swim counting on my natural buoyancy to keep me from the bottom of the pool. And then I lost a lot of weight and got my body fat down to 10%, Surprise, surprise, Swimming became a lot more difficult as I tended to sink when I wasn’t thrashing my arms and legs.

Interestingly, rapid back-and-forth shifts in power between the left and right in Spain, with each shift more vengeful than the last, led to the Spanish Civil War.

Bold words from an Illinois governor. I think four out of the last 10 Illinois governors went to jail. Hopefully pritzker will be number 5.
I’m sure the idea of ‘Orange Man Bad, let’s prosecute him, his Cabinet officers, their staff, GoP in Congress, any supporters and their dog when we get power’ may have some appeal in certain quarters. Pretty sure that’s not an effective National campaign strategy, especially from the big Pharma scion who can’t seem to keep Illinois under fiscal discipline or effectively stop rampant crime.
He also wants to investigate and persecute any business who helped Trump so it just doesn’t stop with the opposing politicians for him.
Remember, follow the money. This is a brush-back pitch against any company or individual who is considering moving their donations out of the greedy claws of the DNC, which has already seen a crushing decrease in cash flow from the NGOs who got audited and suspended by DOGE. Note the civil prosecution in his threat. With Soros prosecutors and biased judges, companies can be broken up, bankrupted, and destroyed at their command. Remember how Enron stood the rule of law on its head by having the biggest criminal in the business get extraordinary leniency in exchange for lying like a rug about the executives he defrauded. The judges for these cases are already putting in their resumes by ruling in current Trump cases so when it comes time to start the crusade, they know just how to stack the deck.
Ahh lawyers. They already started under President autopen trying to disbar any lawyer on ant Trump associated case. Expect this to continue.
Since that’s the game he wants to play I would open up an investigation into him and that nitwit Chicago mayor. Also into any other democrats who are mouthing such sentiments. Also into any democrat with ties to China or any of the muslim terrorist groups including the muslim brotherhood.
Pritzker is echoing what Rice said a couple of weeks ago. The bottom line – as it appears from down here in San Antonio – is that the Dems are actively trying to foment a civil war. They might want to reconsider that…
