Trump Says U.S. Will ‘Massively Blow Up’ Iran’s Main Gas Field if Regime Attacks Qatar Again

Operation Epic Fury—Day 20: The IDF hits targets in northern Iran for the first time.

President Donald Trump has warned that if Iran continues attacking Qatar’s oil facilities, the U.S. will “blow up” the regime’s main gas field.

President Trump warned on Truth Social that if Iran “unwisely decides to attack” Qatar, the U.S. “will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before.”

The Iranian attack on Qatar’s oil infrastructure comes after Israel struck Iran’s South Pars gas facility, the world’s largest natural gas field. Iran also struck energy facilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). After decapitating the Iranian leadership, decimating its repressive security apparatus, and dismantling its long-range missiles, Israel has shifted its focus to the country’s military-industrial complex.

Since war began nineteen days ago, Iran has been firing drones and missiles at its Arab neighbours, including long-time ally Qatar. “Qatar said early Thursday that Iranian ballistic missiles caused extensive damage at its Ras Laffan industrial area, which houses a major hub for liquefied-natural gas,The Wall Street Journal reported.

President Trump said he had no advance knowledge of the Israeli attack on Iran’s main gas field, though he noted Israel’s understandable “anger” over Iran’s conduct of war. There will be no further Israeli strikes on the gas field, he assured.

The news website Axios claimed that despite the president’s assertion, the Israeli strike on the Iranian gas field was coordinated with Washington. “The Israeli officials said the strike was coordinated with and approved by the Trump administration,” the news website reported. “A U.S. Defense official confirmed that.”

Iran appears to have ignored President Trump’s warning, hitting a key oil facility in Saudi Arabia on early Thursday. “Oil giant Saudi Aramco’s SAMREF refinery in ‌the Red Sea port of Yanbu was targeted in an aerial attack on Thursday, an industry source said, adding there was minimal impact,” Reuters reported.

The regime hopes that its attacks on Arab oil infrastructure and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz will spark a global outcry, forcing President Trump to abandon the military operation.

Operation Epic Fury/Roaring Lion (Day 20): The IDF hits targets in northern Iran for the first time

“For the first time during Operation Roaring Lion,” the Israeli armed forces have “begun striking targets in northern Iran,” the IDF announced Wednesday night

“A short while ago, the Israeli Air Force, acting on navy and IDF intelligence, began striking targets in northern Iran for the first time during Operation Roaring Lion,” the military revealed Wednesday night.

The Israeli strikes in northern Iran appear to be aimed at dismantling Iran’s remaining air force. “The Israeli Air Force continues to degrade the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Air Force’s military capabilities and expand aerial superiority in western Iran,” the IDF’s statement added. “As part of this effort, overnight (Wednesday), an Israeli Air Force aircraft acting on precise real-time IDF intelligence identified and struck an IRG Air Force ‘MI-17’ helicopter at ‘Sanandaj’ Airport in Hamadan,” the IDF statement added.”

Yes, so maybe perhaps the EU and its eunuch’s might actually want to deploy some forces to the region to help stabilise the situation.

Of course that wont include the Royal Navy because they are fully occupied trying to get one boat to Cyprus.

Attacking Kharg means destroying about 5% of the worlds oil supply. $140 for months, and this will cause a recession. Trump is crazy enough to do it, but I am already paying a $1 more for gas than two weeks ago. Nobody voted for this bullshit.

I think its inevitable now that the Marines seize Kharg. Maybe in a few weeks?? Its infuriating that the admin did not have a plan for this. Iran planned to shut the straight and planned to attack its neighbors. Maybe Trump thought Iran was bluffing? idk. Crazy ass religious zealots dont bluff.

europe has allowed this to happen and we once again are beholden to their socialist agenda

why do we try and buy their friendship when the only end up using it against us like all do when you try and sooth their savage socialist ways

Trump keeps expecting the Iranians to be rational when the country is run by Islamic ideologues. I think he’s going to be disappointed.

Or perhaps he gives them enough rope to hang themselves with, which they obligingly do.

Doesn’t need that. We’re (or the Israelis) killing them faster than they can get promoted. That doesn’t change the fact that there are plenty more fanatics to take their place. IMO we’d be making a lot more progress if we started smuggling in a few thousand guns and let the more rational opposition start providing some guerrilla support.

Yes they do need weapons; thank goodness are founders understand tyranny and the importance of being able to maintain our right to overthrow it.

Man, I have been saying that over and over and over. If they would just get about doing that, this war would be over with and with a great rapidity.

They are completely irrational or they wouldn’t be attacking Qatar, as Qatar and the Iranian theocracy actually have a lot in common. But since they are purist zealots they hate Qatar, who quite masterfully play both sides and have zero consequences for their hate filled agenda. The only way to deal with Iran unfortunately is to beat them down until the point of surrender. I hate to say that but it’s true. They honestly believe they are purifying the world. Most evil regimes do.

At 6 AM this morning, I went by my favorite gas station and just passed it again (12:15 PM.)

Regular went up 49 cents/gallon,

My 4 cents.

1) I hope Trump is just blowing smoke regarding bombing the gas field.
Assuming there is a regime change the new regime will need the proceeds from the field in order to rebuild.

2) Qatar is a bad actor. They might be worse than Iran because they spend
their money on buying politicians influence and opinion as opposed to building bombs and rockets. That is more effective and dangerous in the
long term. Here’s hoping everyone realizes this and the various state actors in Qatar begin having unfortunate accidents.

Muslims live by different rules. Their religion gives them the right to rape and kill non-muslims.

I have a problem with that.

BTW: $5 a gallon diesel today and we import nothing from the region in turmoil, but we have control of Vensua0lain oil and US oil exports? WTF? Why are we exporting? We should be dumping rurally to stimulate the economy. The rural economy is our farming economy, a major continuator besides energy, Dump farm ethanol production but research pond scum and cooking grease to fuel.
