Democrats are Putting American Lives at Risk by Refusing to Fully Fund DHS

In the course of just a few weeks, we have had multiple terror attacks on American soil, and still, the Democrats refuse to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security. They are playing games with people’s lives.
This is happening just months after they caused one of the longest government shutdowns in the nation’s history, and for what? What have they gained from any of this? Nothing.

Senate Republicans are accusing Senate Democrats of trying to rip apart the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) piece by piece after again blocking a bid to reopen the agency.
Little has changed in the stalemate over the last 27 days of the partial shutdown, and communication breakdowns are dominating what could be opportunities for negotiations.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and his caucus are still demanding stringent reforms to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, while Senate Republicans are dug in against their top demands.
Throughout the day, Senate Democrats tried to offer individual bills to fund pieces and parts of DHS. A fired-up Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, R-Wyo., accused Senate Democrats of trying to rip the agency apart at a moment it was designed for, as the war in Iran has spurred threats of retaliation in the U.S. by sleeper cells.
“And that’s at a time when our homeland is under attack, all warning lights are flashing red, and they want to peel apart, piece by piece, the Department of Homeland Security, the comprehensive department of our government to protect the American people, because they want to stand with illegal immigrant criminals,” Barrasso said.
Schumer declared that Senate Democrats would continue to provide piecemeal funding bills to reopen certain portions of the agency, like the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), while negotiations continued.

Democrats voted against the Homeland Security appropriations bill because it includes funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), two agencies they say need reforms after immigration agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens in Minneapolis.
“We all know that we do not have agreement on how to deal with ICE. We know very simply that Democrats just want ICE to behave like any police department in America and use warrants and not wear masks,” Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) said before the vote.
It’s so insulting.
There have now been four jihadist attacks on the US homeland in the last two weeks & our Dept of Homeland Security remains shut down by Congressional Democrats, as a protest against enforcing federal immigration law.
Just today, 46 of 47 Senate Dems voted to keep DHS closed.

If Republicans were doing this, they would be under constant pressure from the media to get with the program. Democrats do not have that problem.

Too bad Trump doesn’t have a parallel organization to the leftist FBI — one experienced in grooming terrorists (like art-contest shooters and meth-head governor kidnappers) to go after targets of interest without ever getting charged with conspiracy themselves — and charge it with grooming illegals to attack Democrats. Not voter-on-the-street Democrats, but elite Democrats… like Chuck Schumer’s extended family, Marc Elias’s staff, the New York Times’ commissary, Nancy Pelosi’s ice cream freezer, and Don Lemon’s weekend hos.
There are effective Democrat Rules out there for the grabbing, all we need to do is grab them.

I naturally assumed some bad guy took him out, maybe even an illegal.

democrats are putting lives at risk? Of course they are. And they don’t give a rat’s hind end if they do. All they want is to get their way and if it means some dead citizens along they way the democrats will gladly sacrifice you, me, or anyone else to achieve their goals of staying in power.
It’s painfully obvious to any thinking person that the dems care only about obtaining, retaining and expanding their own power, while enriching themselves in the process. They view everything and everyone only as means to those ends, no matter what it takes. And that’s really all there is to it.
It’s so easy to understand that, but where is the serious pushback? That’s what makes no sense.
