Israel Launches ‘Broad Wave of Strikes’ on Iran, Destroying Secret Nuclear Site

IDF eliminates top IRGC-Quds commander directing Hezbollah operations from Tehran, hits more terror targets in Lebanon.

Israel destroyed a secret nuclear facility in Tehran as its Air Forces unleashed a “broad wave of strikes” on regime targets across Iran, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Monday night.

The secret nuclear site, identified as the “Minzadehei” weapons development complex, was located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital. Quoting military sources, the Jerusalem Post reported that “the site was linked to weapons development,” and it was discovered as the “IDF intelligence followed nuclear scientists who tried to travel there clandestinely.”

Israel’s Ynetnews reports:

The IDF said Tuesday it struck a secret underground nuclear complex in Tehran, describing it as a key site where Iran was developing components for a nuclear weapon, as the air campaign in Iran and Lebanon continued at a high tempo.

According to the IDF, fighter jets targeted the covert “Minzadehei” compound, an underground facility where Iran’s nuclear weapons group operated under the country’s Defense Ministry.

IDF spokesperson Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said that during a previous operation in June, Israel dealt heavy blows to Iran’s nuclear weapons group. He said the Iranian regime later transferred parts of its nuclear infrastructure to fortified underground bunkers in an effort to protect and conceal continued weapons development.

“Despite the severe damage to the nuclear weapons group, the Iranian regime did not stop its military nuclear activity,” Defrin said. “It continued to develop the capabilities required for a nuclear weapon while relocating infrastructure to an underground, airstrike-resistant site.”

As the joint U.S.-Israeli ‘Operation Roaring Lion’ entered its fifth day, Israel was hitting Iran’s leadership structure and its military capabilities. “The IDF has begun a broad wave of strikes in Iran … targeting the Iranian terror regime’s launch sites, aerial defense systems, and additional infrastructure,” the military said in a brief statement.

With Lebanon-based Hezbollah declaring war on Israel by firing missiles at northern cities and towns, the IDF was now engaged in a multi-front conflict. “In the past 24 hours, hundreds of fighter jets and aircraft have been striking hundreds of targets simultaneously in Iran and Lebanon,” the IDF disclosed Tuesday night.

Israeli strikes continue to target the regime’s air defense systems and ballistic missile arrays. “As part of the defensive effort, the Israeli Air Force continues to conduct successive waves of strikes against the Iranian regime’s ballistic missile arrays and air defense systems,” the IDF added.

Giving a rundown of the operation at the onset of the fifth day, the IDF revealed on Tuesday night that:

Since the start of Operation “Roaring Lion”, the Israeli Air Force has dismantled approximately 300 Iranian missile launchers. This is the result of more than 1,600 sorties and a systematic, around-the-clock effort to locate and target launchers and missile stockpiles in order to reduce fire toward the Israeli home front.

Israeli F-35I shot down Iranian fighter jet over Tehran

This operation continues to write military history, as an Israeli F-35I shot down a Russian-made Iranian fighter jet over the skies of Tehran.

“An Israeli Air Force F-35I ‘Adir’ shot down an Iranian YAK-130 combat aircraft over the skies of Tehran, the IDF spokesperson announced, ” the Israel Hayom newspaper reported Wednesday morning. “The engagement marked the first time in history that a crewed fighter jet was shot down by an F-35 in operational combat.”

Israeli strikes hit command centers of IRGC’s Basij militia, internal security forces

The Israeli military also struck the regime forces charged with suppressing the people’s uprising. The Israeli armed forces “continue to degrade the Iranian terror regime’s infrastructure,” the IDF assured.

“A short while ago, the Israeli Air Force, guided by IDF intelligence, completed an additional wave of strikes targeting the Iranian terror regime’s command centers throughout Tehran,” the military announced Wednesday morning.

Israeli fighter jets struck the command structure of the regime’s fanatical Basij militia and loyalist forces. The Basij forces, affiliated with the Islamic Guard (IRGC), have been responsible for the recent mass killing of tens of thousands of Iranian protesters.

“As part of the strikes, the IDF dropped dozens of munitions on the Basij and internal security command centers that are subject to the Iranian terror regime,” the statement added. “The targeted command centers were used by the Iranian regime to maintain control throughout Iran and maintain the regime’s situational assessments.”

IDF eliminates top IRGC-Quds commander directing Hezbollah operations from Tehran, hits more terror targets in Lebanon

Another Israeli airstrike eliminated Iran’s top commander, who was directing Hezbollah’s military and terrorist operations from his headquarters in Tehran. “Ali Zadeh held the rank equivalent to brigadier general. He was the highest-ranking Iranian commander responsible for Lebanon,” Israel’s i24NEWS TV reported.

According to Israel’s Ynetnews, Ali Zadeh-led “Lebanon Corps serves as a key link between Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group based in Lebanon.”

Daoud Ali Zadeh, a senior commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, has been responsible for dragging Lebanon into the war as he “recently encouraged Hezbollah to carry out attacks against Israel,” the news outlet noted.

After Hezbollah entered the conflict on Sunday night by firing towards northern Israel, Israel has launched ground and aerial operations against the Iranian proxy terrorist group. “The IDF struck approximately 60 targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization, [i]ncluding weapons storage facilities, command centers, missile launchers and additional terrorist infrastructure,” the Israeli military said Tuesday night.

“A short while ago, the IDF completed additional broad-scale strikes targeting Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon,” the military added. “Among the targets struck were weapons storage facilities, missile launchers, command centers, and a number of terrorist infrastructure sites belonging to the Hezbollah and Hamas terrorist organizations in areas of Tyre and Sidon in southern Lebanon.”

Another magical Iranian nuclear facility destroyed. Amazing how often they pop up. How did we miss this one last summer? You know, the last time we destroyed Iran’s nuclear capability.

So you don’t understand the difference between a site that makes nuclear bomb components and sites that perform uranium enrichment?
    Tell me you’re a 🤡 without telling me you’re a🤡 .

There’s also a strategic reason for striking facilities after they become operational – maximum effort (in time, money, and materiel) has already been expended. Destroying a facility after it comes online maximizes the cost to the enemy. It may also kill high-value workers at the site (rather than killing construction workers as the facility is being built).

We have better intel now. That’s how we knew where the Ayatollah and his henchmen would be.

As mentioned in this post, the Israelis figured out where all the bad guys were going to work after we dropped the other place’s roof on their heads. It’s a very nice piece of intel work.

You’re a disgraceful and patently stupid useful idiot apologist for genocidal, goose-stepping Islamofascism/Muslim terrorism.

You deny the patently obvious; to wit, the Iranian’s regime’s obvious goal of producing nuclear weapons in service of genocidal, Islamic “holy war.”

You earnestly believe that the Iranian regime is allegedly benevolent in its intent and behavior? That nearly fifty years of global terrorism sponsorship by the Iranian regime don’t count as belligerence?

    You’re an f’in idiot; a moron; a schmuck; a poser; a loser; a fool and a reprobate.

Get back down on your soiled knees and continue to suck off/service goose-stepping, genocidal Islamofascists and Muslim terrorists, and their warlord/brigand “prophet.”

Wasn’t that secret, was it?

I’m beginning to think that Israel has been gathering data for a very long time on Iran and it’s maniacal leaders. They also must have had insider help, I’m sure there were many Iranians willing to die to rid Iran of the current murderous regime. How long has this been in the planning stages, how many years?

Based on some of the events that have happened in the last year, a looooong time.
Basically, that old paranoia about Mossad agents everywhere? Maybe it wasn’t paranoia.

Or, as the old saw goes, “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean no one is actually out to get you.”

henrybowman in reply to GWB. | March 4, 2026 at 1:29 pm

Someone yesterday posted asking why Mossad had such legendary status given that they were such a small organization in a small country.

You don’t plan and execute perfect and previously inconceivable masterstrokes like the Pager War and Stuxnet without becoming legends yourself.

Look at the level of what The Greatest Country on Earth can manage: Fast and Furious, the Bay of Pigs, and Joe Biden watching the Pretty Chinese Balloon for two weeks,

Sure, Trump pulled off the Maduro extraction like clockwork for a welcome change, but even that was just excellent military execution, not a devious intellectual Long Con.

According to Wikipedia (I know) Mossad has 7000 employees so it’s not small. CIA has three times the number though. Mossad is considered large but still it isn’t large enough for everything attributed to it (basically everything that happens is due to mossad according to some).

          Spike3 in reply to ztakddot. | March 4, 2026 at 7:51 pm

Yes but how many in the CIA are working for The People, and how many for the Deep State to control The People?

At this point, the Israelis know more about Iranian state secrets than the Iranians do.

And at the rate the Israelis are killing the replacements, they may well have to take over governing.

lefty/rinos:

this is too much now israel will dominate the region and there might be sustained peace for at least 10 minutes and we cant have that…that will make trump look great

oh nooooooooo

destroycommunism | March 4, 2026 at 9:11 am

iran is sending out to linkdum to find replacements:

must have dnc credentials and insider trading experience

They shouldn’t forget Hamas. They need to drop a few bombs on gaza so they don’t feel forgotten.

has dismantled approximately 300 Iranian missile launchers
“Dismantled”? As in “Rapid unplanned disassembly”? BWAHAHAHA!

As to bombing the Basiji, several reports supposedly from Iranians say that very precision bombing has occurred. HQs in alleys, butted up against apartments have gone kablooey while the neighbors reported no damage or “the floor shook, that was all.” BWAHAHAHAHA!

I love watching a fight against very bad people going well.
Keep it up USA and Israel!
