The ShamWow! Guy Running for Congress as a Republican Drops First Ad

“I’m going to slap chop the nuts out of the woke, making less bluehead commies and more red-blooded Americans.”

Back in November, we ran a story about the ShamWow! guy, whose real name is Offer Vince Shlomi. He is running for a House seat in Texas as a Republican.

At the time, I wasn’t completely sure how serious he was, but now he has dropped his first campaign ad, and it’s really good.

Mediaite has details:

Offer Vince Shlomi, better known as the “ShamWow guy,” released his first campaign ad on Sunday in his bid for Texas’s 31st Congressional District– and it’s a wild ride.

Shlomi, a former infomercial fixture, announced his bid for Rep. John Carter’s (TX-31) seat in November, vowing to “destroy wokeism” and as a tribute to the late Charlie Kirk, whose death he claimed was the “catalyst” for his campaign.

That anti-woke message was featured prominently in Shlomi’s first ad, which showcased his classic infomercial showmanship, a promise to “slam chop the nuts out of woke,” and a talking fetus.

“I’m going to soak up the swap, clean the house, and pick up those liberal tears at the same time,” Schlomi vowed in the ad. “I’m going to slap chop the nuts out of the woke, making less bluehead commies and more red-blooded Americans.”

Schlomi also took a swipe at incumbent Carter, who himself is running for reelection, opening the ad by likening the eighty-four-year-old congressman to former President Joe Biden.

Watch the ad:

You should check out his website. He actually gets into some very specific policy issues.

This is how he describes himself:

I’ve shown the world what I can do as the sole owner of all of my commercials, products & movies. I didn’t get to that level of success without being a great problem solver & student of life. I now want to focus that energy on the struggles of my constituents & come up with real solutions. I recently interviewed college kids & learned just how hopeless they are for the future. Very few believe in the American dream.

My mission is simple will be a stronger economy and real opportunities for the Texas 31st and for all America. I believe that by putting God first and standing firm with our values, we can build a more perfect union for our families and for all America.

This guy deserves a shot, doesn’t he?

LOL!

I’m getting old. I thought Vince Offer died back in 2009. According to Google, that was Billy Mays.

NPR did a story, if the aliens are really monitoring earthly television signals, they saw Billy Mays way more often than a superbowl.

2026 mid term election will be about the economy and affordability. The job market is currently weak. The average new car is about $50,000 which is crazy. People are feeling food price fatigue. Shamwow guy has an edge because of Texas redistricting. Woke though will be a back burner issue.

I am not in TX but I agree with him we need to get these old fossils that have been in Congress for far too long out. It is in both parties. We really need term limits for all of the government: House (6 years), Senate (12 years}, Judiciary(30 years total all levels}, Military{30 years), and all workers(25 years total in government at all positions),

Pretty good, hope he wins.
Get these damn half dead corpses out of government.

I believe we should have term limits in Congress and they don’t have to be crazy. 10 terms in the house and 4 in the Senate. Serve 20 yrs or so max and be done with it. There should also be cognitive tests for all every time they are elected to prevent people that have no idea where they are voting on our laws. Anther thing, if you become incapacitated like DiFi you are immediately out and a special election takes place to fill the seat.

You get 24 years in fed elected office.

But, it works as 12 years in any branch.

      term limit-

      6 as a rep,

      2 as a senator.

      3 as president

24 as supreme court justice (or less if the justice in question has served in another office)

Couple this with the return of the ‘spoils’ system and there will be a constant turnover of the entire bureaucracy.. This is what the founders intended–no entrenched power structure.

12 on congress total 6 in house or 2 senate terms, the president stays at 2 elected terms, and the judicary goes to the Missouri plan, appointed from where they serve retained by the people of those areas, but no limit.

I’d vote for him.
