And they don’t mean “land for peace” or anything close to it.
Instead, they welcome people like Egyptian Sheikh Youssef al-Qaradawi to Gaza:
Leading Muslim cleric Sheikh Youssef al-Qaradawi paid a high-profile visit to Gaza on Thursday, giving a boost to the Islamist group Hamas that runs the enclave, but also laying bare Palestinian rivalries….
Soon after arriving in the Gaza Strip, the 87-year-old Egyptian-born cleric called on Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims to work together to bring about the downfall of Israel.
“Our wish should be that we carry out Jihad to death,” said Qaradawi, who has gained a large following in the Muslim world thanks to regular appearances on Al Jazeera television.
“We should seek to liberate Palestine, all of Palestine, inch by inch,” he said, backing the position of Hamas, which refuses to recognize Israel’s right to exist.
And they speak the truth on to Arab television and glorify the desire to destroy Israel, Senior PA official praises murderer and another official swears: “If we had a nuke, we’d have used it this very morning”
Two senior Palestinian Authority officials praised the use of violence against Israel last week.
Senior PA official Sultan Abu Al-Einein expressed his open support for the murderer who killed Evyatar Borovsky, an Israeli who was stabbed to death by Palestinian terrorist Salam Al-Zaghal while he was waiting for a ride.
Abu Al-Einein, who was until recently an advisor holding the rank of minister to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and who was subsequently appointed Head of the Palestinian Council for NGO Affairs by Abbas, honored the murderer:
“We salute the heroic fighter, the self-sacrificing Salam Al-Zaghal.”
Abu Al-Einein also praised the murderer and his killing with the words:
“He insisted on defending his honor, so he went against the settler and killed him. Blessings to the breast that nursed Salam Al-Zaghal.”
But it gets better:
Another senior PA official, Jibril Rajoub, also praised the use of violence against Israel. During an interview on a Lebanese TV channel, the host referred to “the negotiations game” with Israel, and Rajoub expressed the view that negotiations are held because the Palestinians lack military strength:
“I swear that if we had a nuke, we’d have used it this very morning.”

No surprise there. They are killers. That’s what their ideology demands: hatred, blood, death. No point in Israel or the USA dealing with murderous thugs like these. No point in giving our money to them. Let them eat and drink their hatred and see how far it takes them.
Anyone who has been paying attention to this in recent years will have come across Palestinians implying, or saying outright, that “all of Palestine” includes every square inch of land within Israeli borders. The Palestinians have this dream of pushing the Israelis into the Mediterranean.
It’s also a safe bet that the Palestinians, and many non-Israelis in the Middle East, are shamed by the thought that a supposedly lowly people, the Jews, took a stretch of desert land that nobody else wanted and made it bloom and turned it into a modern, thriving country. Better to wipe away the people who have shamed them than to learn from them how they did it.
There are no “Palestinians”. There never have been a people called “Palestinians”. What you ave are Arabs attempting, as they always do, to rewrite history.
I’m confused. How does an 87-year-old Egyptian-born cleric whose clarion call to Palestinians is, “Our wish should be that we carry out Jihad to death,” actually live to be 87? How curious it is that all those who exhort jihad via, “low information Palestinians,” live to such ripe old ages themselves.
Islam in general is NOT a friend of the civilized world. The very worst of ’em prefer the seventh century way of life and the remainder sympathize with the radicals.

My J Street-type friends assure me that this is just that colorful Arab rhetoric–aren’t they picturesque?–and if Israel would only offer more concessions and confidence building measures, the Palestinians would be eager to embrace their true goal, which is a secular, democratic state living in peace with Israel.
Of course, when the true peaceful nature of the Palestinian leadership is allowed to express itself, the Palestinian people will easily and quickly put away sixty-some years of nothing but the most vicious hatred they have been taught and likewise will embrace their Jewish neighbors and live in peace and harmony.
That’s what I’m told and I believe it. Of course, I also believe in the Tooth Fairy.

These kinds of statements (http://huff-watch.blogspot.com/2010/04/4710-huffpost-pallywood-propaganda.html), however, get touted in screaming headlines, replete with Kumbaya-style imagery that was absolutely, positively not fed to HuffPost by Pallywood Productions, Inc.

Are you now starting to see how you, too, can become part of the “in” crowd?
