Harvard Hires Drag Queen Named ‘LaWhore Vagistan’ as Visiting Prof in Gender Studies

“Visiting Associate Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies”

Remember when Harvard was thought of as a serious and respectable institution? Good times.

FOX News reports:

Harvard hires drag queen ‘LaWhore Vagistan’ as visiting professor in gender and sexuality studies

Harvard University announced the hiring of a new visiting gender and sexuality professor who happens to be a drag queen and goes by the name of “LaWhore Vagistan.”

In a recent press release, Harvard said it has brought on Tufts Professor Kareem Khubchandani as the 2025-26 F.O. Matthiessen Visiting Associate Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies.

Khubchandani appears to have an Instagram handle with the name of @lawhorevagistan, as well as a Linktree with the same name.

A March 2024 article from The Georgetown Independent noted Khubchandani’s performance on campus.

“On February 8, LaWhore Vagistan, the drag alter-ego of professor and researcher Dr. Kareem Khubchandani, graced Georgetown with her presence,” student journalist Micaeli Dym wrote,

“Claiming to put the ‘whore’ back in Lahore’ — the capital of Pakistan — LaWhore was invited to the Hilltop as a part of Georgetown’s South Asia Speaker Series for a performance lecture entitled ‘Lessons in Drag.'”

Harvard’s press release said Khubchandani, the author of “Decolonize Drag” and “Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife,” will be teaching two courses on queer ethnography during the fall semester and RuPaulitics: Drag, Race, and Desire during the spring semester.

Khubchandani, who attended Northwestern University and received a Ph.D. in performance studies, is expected to release a new book in October, “Lessons in Drag: A Queer Manual for Academics, Artists, and Aunties.”

Comments

Harvard knows no embarrassment,

This is completely appropriate for a Gender Studies department. Why else would you have one?

I read this story yesterday and had to laugh at the name as it’s pretty good.
Now Harvard can explain how they just can’t survive without out tax dollars when they are finding this crap.
Kids, go to a state school or better yet a trade school. I know a whole lot of welders pushing six figures.

Why would anybody donate to harvard? Yes donors can specify how they want their money to be used. But money is a fungible asset. Even if donor specified that their money be used in some other way, that still frees up other money to be used to fund this kind of clown show.

Harvard has become unrecognizable.

No such thing as bad publicity?

phd in performance studies ???
ahahahahahaaa

what? on how to blow sheep

It would be glorious to see him tapped to be the entertainment at a formal reception for visiting Pakistani bigwigs,

“Harvard’s press release said Khubchandani, the author of “Decolonize Drag” and “Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife,” will be teaching two courses on queer ethnography during the fall semester and RuPaulitics: Drag, Race, and Desire during the spring semester.”

It’s news like this that has may thinking , “Maybe the Islamic Republic of Cambridgestan wouldn’t be such an awful prospect after all.”

If that doesn’t work out Harvard could change its motto to ,

VERI TA TAS.

Harvard is woke joke. Sounds like Borat.

As high schoolers contemplating colleges, we held the Ivy League schools in awe, now we hold them in mere contempt.

Defund harvard.
