Green Meltdown Continues as Russ Vought Axes $8 billion From ‘Climate Crisis’ Projects

The move come shortly after funding for New York state infrastructure programs.

A few days ago, I wrote that President Donald Trump and his team have proceeded to make significant progress on the strategic destruction of the economically disastrous climate crisis agenda. Green activist groups have been experiencing deep frustration, a sense of failure, and internal turmoil as their funding and agendas have been targeted by the executive branch…just as Trump promised during his campaign.

As he promised in recent weeks, Trump has unleashed his administration to take advantage of the Democrat-caused government shutdown to enact even more of his agenda. To that end, Russ Vought, who serves as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, announced that nearly $8 billion in funding for climate-related projects, which he labeled as “Green New Scam funding to fuel the Left’s climate agenda,” is being canceled.

Get ready for some more green meltdown!

The move comes shortly after the administration paused New York’s infrastructure programs.

The projects impacted are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Washington, according to Vought. Fourteen of the states are led by Democratic governors. New Hampshire and Vermont are led by Republicans.

The announcement on the climate-related projects comes on the heels of the administration’s move to pause roughly $18 billion in infrastructure projects in New York City. Vought said the initiatives — specifically for the Hudson Tunnel and Second Avenue Subway — were put on hold “to ensure funding is not flowing based on unconstitutional DEI principles,” a reference to diversity, equity and inclusion policies.

The Department of Transportation said it issued letters informing New York officials that the projects were under administrative review “to determine whether any unconstitutional practices are occurring,” and said that examination “will take more time” because of the shutdown.

Most regular Americans are thrilled with this development, and memes of support are beginning to flow across social media.

Leftists and climate cultists are deeply unhappy.

“Political revenge. Clearly outlined by Trump, time and again. He sees the U.S. as Blue and Red, and Blue states are enemies,” George Latimer (D-N.Y.), who represents the New York City suburbs in Westchester County, wrote in a text message to POLITICO. “As he has said many times, he hates his enemies; he is the retribution. Has he announced any rescission of any projects in Florida or Texas?”

I will point out that Red States usually are not rife with climate crisis grift, so of course, Florida and Texas would not be impacted.

If this is what the first day of the government shutdown has brought, I cannot wait to see what the second will bring.

It appears Trump and his team have managed to use the government shutdown to their advantage this time.

Okay, so far, but we know that Judge Boasberg has the final say on all executive branch policy decisions.

Well I sure don’t like this as much as I could. Why isn’t RI on this list?

We had some weenie judge nullify the work stoppage on our fishing ground destroying wind generators and as far as i know, they’re back to working on them

The work needs to be stopped again and the marine and bird killing machines and pollution makers need to be removed.

“Political revenge. Clearly outlined by Trump, time and again. He sees the U.S. as Blue and Red, and Blue states are enemies,” George Latimer (D-N.Y.)”

And not at all because it was the blue states — especially yours– that porked him hard up the bunghole with “made up just for him” civil and criminal lawfare over the last four years.

“He’s punishing us for no reason! No reason at all!”

People like Latimer, if they said that sh*t to real people in the real world. would get their teeth knocked out. What a c*nt.

Real punishment for Blue States would be a flat tax with only a single standard deduction. Zero SALT deduction would very quickly bring home the true costs of lefty tax and spend policies in Blue jurisdictions.

Biden green new deal is trillion dollar fraud.

Natural gas, or nuclear with reprocessing of spent fuel rods,

The sea levels are rising . . .

. . . due to all the Leftist tears.

I voted for this!

The green grift is over, let the fat tranny sing!

Good, we shouldn’t be spending taxpayer money on so-called Green Technology that produces not enough power at the wrong times. We should be spending on stuff that works when we need it

Someone in high office once said something that seems very apropos in this situation. What was it again?

Oh yea…”Elections have consequences”.

Who was it that said that again? I don’t remember.

Did Rep Latimer list any ‘green new deal’ funded projects located in TX or FL to be considered for termination? Ima guess he didn’t, probably b/c he couldn’t find any on short notice.
