Deadly Florida Crash Suspect is Illegal Alien Granted Work Permit by Biden Admin
Indian illegal immigrant alien who killed three with illegal U-turn was able to use the work permit to obtain a CDL from California.
Last week, three residents of South Florida died in a collision when the mini-camper they were in was slammed by a commercial semi-truck driven by an illegal alien. The accident was horrific.
It turns out that not only was the truck driver here illegally, but he also appears to have unlawfully obtained a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) from the state of California.
Video of the crash was captured on dashboard camera inside the tractor trailer. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Harjinder Singh, could be seen behind the wheel as well as a passenger next to him.
Singh, of Stockton, California, was arrested and charged with three counts of vehicular homicide.
Troopers said Singh entered the U.S. illegally in 2018 and obtained a commercial driver’s license in California.
In addition to his vehicular homicide charges, Singh also faces immigration violations.

Singh was arrested in September 2018 by Border Patrol near San Ysidro, California, shortly after entry. He was slated for expedited deportation under the Trump administration, but claimed fear for his safety if sent back to India.
But after claiming fear of being sent back to India to US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Singh was released on a $5,000 immigration bond in January 2019 and has remained in immigration proceedings ever since.
In June 2021, the Biden administration granted him work papers that had been denied during Trump’s first term, the Department of Homeland Security said Monday.
He was then able to secure a Commercial Driver’s License in California, according to DHS.
Apparently, the Biden administration provided a work permit that made him eligible for the license under California law.

The Department of Homeland Security has now issued a detainer on Singh, applying to have him deported.
After careful consideration of all factors and available records, Singh is considered a significant threat to public safety and is an exceptional circumstance warranting enforcement action due to the serious nature of his criminal history,’ it said.
Video from inside his enormous semi-truck shows the moment he casually began performing a U-turn on a highway, failing to consider other cars on the road traveling at speed.
As he took up the entire highway, a minivan crashed directly into the side of the truck, unable to break quick enough to prevent the tragedy.
The area in which Singh was attempting to turn around was an ‘official use only’ pass, as was clearly stated on a no U-urn sign in front of it.
In the video, Singh remained calm as it became apparent the minivan had been completely demolished, with debris strewn across the highway.
Singh pulled a stunt that may be just fine in third-world countries, but is not acceptable in regions where more civilized rules of the road prevail. It must be asked how he obtained a CDL in California, given that there are driving tests that require practice and competency to pass. There are also extensive knowledge tests to show that drivers understand they can’t make illegal U-turns that take up an entire highway.
There are valid public safety reasons to implement CDL programs. CDL requirements ensure only qualified, healthy, and skilled individuals operate large commercial vehicles, significantly enhancing road safety and reducing accident risks. These strict standards (covering training, testing, medical evaluations, and background checks) are demonstrations of professionalism and competency, which in turn reinforce public trust in the commercial trucking system.
Biden completely broke public trust with his border disaster. The doling out of work permits to illegal immigrants ultimately led to this tragedy. The safety of our roads has been completely undermined by that feckless administration.
In the name of public safety, every state and the federal government must figure out how to cull more of these unqualified illegal immigrant drivers who, like Singh, have managed to obtain a CDL without meeting essential qualifications.

If he obtained his CDL before February 7, 2022, he was not subject to the newly introduced Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements.
No CDL training was ever required before this time. You just had to pass a test.

Nearly 20 States offer DL.to illegal aliens. It would be interesting to see how many offer CDL. Unfortunately another example of the reforms needed to end the practice of easy qualification for X program which then serves as the entry point to X/Z programs. Every program should be subject to the same strict rules for qualifying. As this example shows DoT gonna need to get hot on the issuing of CDL to aliens. Probably need a suspension on all CDL held by aliens and withholding the ability of States to issue CDL to non Citizens without Federal approval for each applicant which would be granted only after written and road testing + English language proficiency test conducted by the Feds.

I don’t have too big an issue with DL for them with several caveats:
1. DL should state in Big Bold Type that the possessor is an Illegal Immigrant.
2. possessor must reaffirm IN coverage 2x per year every six months in person at DMV or DL is revoked. One year minimum to reapply
Finally we need to add a new classification for DL. One that reflects use of a passenger vehicle or some sort of ‘box truck’ (Uhaul) or van and any towing for commercial purposes. In essence if you use a vehicle for profit as part.of your employment or a side.hustle like uber or pizza delivery it should be more difficult to obtain that endorsement on your DL. Maybe possession of standard DL for 36 months without any incident, traffic infractions and any action leading to automatically r.evoked as if it were a CDL.
No whining of some illegal with such a DL gets stopped out of State by LEO participating in the 287 G program allowing local LEO to enforce Federal Immigration Laws. Without those though…. probably need to tell blue sanctuary States their DL won’t be accepted. No crying from them about full faith/credit when they won’t accept other State’s Firearm Permits.
Then tell me. How do illegals prove their identify under the federal Real ID Act (2005) that every legal citizen and legal immigrant is required to satisfy before being issued a driver’s license. How do illegals do that, exactly.
You are not require to have real ID. If you don’t have it you will need to use a passport to enter federal buildings or fly inside the country. Illegals will just have to be dragged into federal buildings by ICE and fly on their actual countries passport that might also cause them to meet with ICE but my indifference to those problems is huge.
They won’t get a ‘Real ID’ just a standard one that isn’t valid for Federal purposes.
To be clear I am proposing minimum standards for blue States here. If they don’t wanna use it then fine but no crying when other Red States no longer accept their DL as valid for any purpose. Gotta pull in at the new checkpoints for screening and as they’re already in Red State their ID won’t be valid and the vehicle gets towed and they get booked into jail as John Doe. Oops Red State airports now have prescreening requirement to enter the airport valid ID required, sorry your blue State DL is invalid here. Sucks to be them.

New York state did that and then they intentionally destroyed records so that the incoming Trump administration (back in 2016) couldn’t use the license data to find illegals in New York.
As I mentioned elsewhere, states should start treating driver’s licenses (DL) much like they do concealed carry licenses. That is to say they should extend recognition of other states’ DLs
and/or CDLs only if the other states implement the necessary training/education requirements to acquire such licenses.
CDL training/education requirements are federal.
There was a similar incident in Illinois when George Ryan was Secretary of State (i.e. head of the Illinois equivalent of the DMV, among other things). Unqualified truck drivers could buy CDLs (i.e. bribes)… one of them caused an accident in which six kids in a family were killed, and the mom & dad were horrifically injured. That incident, among others as well, is how Ryan landed in prison.
This person is the perfect example of why Congress needs to get off its arse to pass a law “dictating” that only citizens can vote in federal elections.
Because California has deliberately issued drivers licences to illigal aliens means the entire integrity of the voting process in that State has been so utterly destroyed as to make every election questionable.

We had a worse accident in Austin in March of this year. Five people killed, including a child and an infant. Eleven others injured and hospitalized. A total of 18 vehicles involved. All this on I-35 which is the main North-South highway in Texas. The driver? One Solomun Weldekeal Araya from Eritrea. I can’t find anything on his immigration status. A Travis country judge lowered his bail from from more than $ 1 million to a few thousand. Bear in mind that Travis Country resembles Alameda County in California. Very Democratic. Adjacent Williamson County is much better, but changing.
While I don’t live in Austin, I’m frequently on I-35 at the very spot of the accident. Araya simply drove his massive semi right into the cars ahead. Of course the MSM is covering for him. Obviously he was deficient in his ability to drive although his blood tests were negative. Personally I don’t trust the tests knowing how massively corrupt Austin and Travis county are. Both are supportive of immigrants and criminals. The colluding parties include Biden. His policies promoted the flood of foreign trucker making our roads dangerous.

No one has any valid asylum claim against India. It is utterly ridiculous that we even allow people to make these ridiculous claims that are BS on their face. The only asylum claims that should even be considered (though not necessarily approved) should be from conflicts that are currently recognized by the State Dept and listed. Anyone making any complaints outside of that list should be rejected out of hand. Further, anyone who passed another nation on his way to America should be rejected immediately. Refugees are required to stop at the first nation in their request for asylum and make their requests from there.
No claim of asylum from ANY illegal entry should ever be entertained. Asylum can only be requested through legal channels. Further, we need to have a very strict limit on the number of asylum visas allowed every year – and a very small number, at that.
Lastly, officials who okayed this illegal’s status and license when they should have known that he was ill-prepared or not allowed should be held responsible. It’s funny that a bartender can be held liable for selling drinks to a paying customer who is drunk but these officials who go out of their way to harm America and give aid and comfort to invading illegals get away scot-free when their actual crime is TREASON.
Assumes facts not in evidence. We have no information that he didn’t pass the usual tests. And he had an Employment Authorization Document (issued under Biden after he’d been refused under Trump), so he was entitled to the license. As I understand it it’s illegal to refuse someone a CDL based on their immigration status, if they qualify for one.

I bet it was issued outside of normal rules. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that he didn’t have to complete either the written or driving test or even both.
1) He was not allowed to use the pull through. (It was marked “Official Use Only, which does NOT include commercial vehicles.)
2) He made a left turn from the right lane – not legal, except in very limited circumstances, and never legal on the highway.
3) He crossed more than one lane of traffic. (Which always happens when turning right from a left lane.)
4) He failed to yield. He did not legally have the right of way.
I and my friend once got a semi to jackknife. But, it was while warning him about an accident in the middle of an icy two-lane road in north Texas. And his jackknife did a nice job of blocking the road with a giant billboard visible for a mile in both directions. (Our intent was not to have him jackknife, just to slow down and stop.)
