Netanyahu Addresses Iranian People: “One Day Iran Will be Free”
“Your oppressors spent over 30 billion dollars supporting Assad in Syria. After only 11 days of fighting, his regime collapsed into dust.”
Nearly five days after the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly addressed the Iranian people, assuring them that the Mullah regime will not last long and their country “will be free.”
In a two-and-a-half minute video posted on X, Prime Minister Netanyahu assured that Israel strives for peace with Iran and other counties in the neighborhood. “Israel wants peace. We want peace with all those who truly want peace with us,” Netanyahu said addressing Iranians in English — with subtitles in Arabic. “I have no doubt that you, the people of Iran, know this. I know that just as we want peace with you, you want peace with us.”
With the 50-year rule of Assad clan coming to a crashing end, Netanyahu assured that the Mullah tyranny, which has subjugated the Iranian people since 1979, too was destined to fall. “But you suffer under the rule of a regime that subjugates you and threatens us,” he said. “One day Iran will be free.”
The Jerusalem Post published the excerpt from Netanyahu’s speech:
“We want peace with you,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said to the Iranian people in a video message on Thursday.
While he said Israel seeks peace with Iranians, and he knows they want peace with Israel in turn, the Islamic Republic prevents this. “You suffer under the rule of a regime that subjugates you and threatens us,” he added.
“Your oppressors spent over 30 billion dollars supporting Assad in Syria, a regime which in just eleven days of fighting collapsed into dust,” he said. “Your regime spent over 20 billion dollars supporting Hezbollah in Lebanon – in a matter of weeks, most of Hezbollah’s leaders, its rockets, and thousands of terrorists went up in smoke.”
“The events of today are a chain reaction to the pounding of Hamas, the decimation of Hezbollah, the targeting of Nasrallah.”
He acknowledged what must be the frustrations of the Iranian people, knowing that new roads, schools, and hospitals could have been built instead of the money contributing to terrorism.
However, Netanyahu added that the “fundamentalist tyranny” that is the Iranian regime will continue to fail because it seeks to conquer other nations rather than pursue peace.
“The events of today are a chain reaction to the pounding of Hamas, the decimation of Hezbollah, the targeting of Nasrallah.”
However, he ended with a message of home: “One day, Iran will be free,” he said.
“Together, we will transform the Middle East into beacon of prosperity, progress and peace,” he concluded.

Netanyahu vows to hold the Syria buffer zone, won’t allow jihadi groups to ‘fill the vacuum’
With France, Russia and several Muslim countries demanding an Israeli withdrawal from the newly established buffer zone on the Syrian border, Netanyahu on Thursday vowed to keep the troops in the secured area as Islamist groups rush to bring most of the country under their control after the sudden fall of the Assad regime.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu made it clear that Israel would do its utmost to defend its security against any and all threats,” the Israeli prime minister’s office (PMO) said in a statement Thursday.
The prime minister has “ordered the IDF to temporarily take control of the buffer zone in Syria, until there is an effective force that will enforce the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement,” the statement added.
“Israel will not allow jihadi groups to fill the vacuum created by the collapse of the Syrian regime on Israel’s border,” the Jerusalem Post reported Thursday citing Israeli prime minister’s statement.

Since early this week, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has deployed combat engineers to reshape the buffer zone beyond the Israeli border. They were using earth moving equipment to create trenches and obstacles to stop tanks and vehicles from approaching the Israeli border. The military wants to fortify the border with Syria from an October 7-like incursion, Israeli media reports say.
The IDF is further consolidating its hold on the buffer zone, media reports on Thursday suggest. “Israeli forces pushed into a buffer zone that had been established after the 1973 Mideast war. The military says it has seized additional strategic points nearby,” the Associated Press noted.
Prime Minister Netanyahu’s pledged to hold the buffer zone in Syria comes as the United Nations rushes international troops into the area in a bid to thwart ongoing Israeli measures to secure the country’s border. “The UN has sent reinforcement troops to the Golan Heights buffer zone in Syria after it was seized by Israeli troops earlier this week,” The Daily Telegraph (UK) reported Thursday.
The UN-manned buffer zone was established in the Golan Heights as part of the 1974 ceasefire agreement. During Yom Kippur War (1973), Syria used the strategically-located rocky plateau to unsuccessfully invade northern Israel. Israel annexed a part of the Golan Heights to secure the northern frontier from future Arab incursions. In 2019, President Donald Trump recognized Israeli sovereignty over the territory.

IDF conducts around 500 strikes on former Assad regime military and WMD arsenal
The Israeli Air Force conducted nearly 500 airstrikes on Syrian military targets since Bashar al-Assad’s regime collapsed over the weekend. In this short span, the Israeli armed forces managed to destroys nearly 80 percent of the former regime’s strategic military assets. “The military estimated that it had destroyed 70-80 percent of the former Assad regime’s strategic military capabilities,” The Times of Israel reported Wednesday.

On Thursday, Israeli fighter jets targeted additional military assets abandoned by the ousted Assad regime. “Additional Israeli airstrikes hit targets in Damascus on Thursday, Saudi television network Al Arabiya reported,” the Israeli news website YNET reported. “Saudi channel Al Hadath, citing the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reported that the strikes targeted a former regime center linked to deposed dictator Bashar Assad and a helicopter airfield in Aqraba, southwest of Damascus.”
The Iran-backed regime possessed chemical and biological weapons capabilities. The IDF operation is aimed at preventing incoming jihadist groups from getting their hands on lethal weapons and technology.
The IDF on Thursday discl0sed the details of the ongoing Syrian aerial operation, which had been planned in advance. “In recent weeks, the IDF, led by the Intelligence Directorate, has been conducting a comprehensive situational assessment regarding the internal situation in Syria. In anticipation of the potential collapse of the Assad regime, the Israeli Air Force prepared an extensive strike plan to eliminate advanced military capabilities in Syria, including strategic weapons,” the IDF said in a statement Thursday.

“In recent days, hundreds of Israeli Air Force fighter jets and aircraft inflicted severe damage on Syria’s most strategic weapons: fighter jets and helicopters, Scud missiles, UAVs, cruise missiles, surface-to-sea precision-guided missiles, surface-to-air missiles, surface-to-surface missiles, radars, rockets, and more,” the IDF announced.
Israeli strikes destroyed a significant portion of the ousted regime’s missile and air defense capabilities. “The majority of the strikes severely damaged Syria’s aerial defense systems, destroying over 90% of the identified strategic surface-to-air missiles. Syria’s aerial defense network is among the strongest in the Middle East, and the damage inflicted represents a significant achievement for the Israeli Air Force’s superiority in the region,” the military said. “Additionally, Syrian Air Force bases were struck.”
The “Israeli Air Force struck central manufacturing and storage sites, including a site in the Homs area. This site is the leading facility in Syria’s Scud missile project and is considered one of the most significant infrastructures in Syria’s manufacturing industry, “CERS,” the military added.

France aligned with Russia on foreign policy. That never turns out well.
France has descended into fully feckless, witless, emasculated, stupid and evil dhimmitude. The U.K. is following France, Sweden and the Netherlands. Europe is lost. Only the Visegrad countries and Switzerland seem determined and able to preserve their sovereignty and their culture against the tide of goose-stepping, genocidal, Islamofascist hordes.
You have to pay off the existing parasites who are already being paid off to avoid making trouble, who don’t want to lose the payoffs.
