Ways and Means Committee Democrats Mock People for Complaining About Food Prices

“And here we were thinking y’all couldn’t afford eggs!”

The Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee deleted a tweet where they mocked us for complaining about the price of eggs.

Thank you, Speaker Mike Johnson, for keeping the receipt. However, I would like to note that House GOP hasn’t been much help, agreeing to send tons of money overseas for starters.

Also, Democrats, Black Friday spending probably broke records because everything costs so much more.

That butter that was $4 in 2020, $8 before Thanksgiving was $16 yesterday likely due to scarcity caused by Costco being forced to dispose of perfectly good butter

Condescending attitudes of the d/prog reflect their detachment from the very real struggles of those not in the top 20%. The amount of assets held by the bottom 80% has significantly declined while the amount held by the top 20% has ballooned. Very easy to forget about the folks across the Nation when one is a member of the over credentialed ruling class.

These are the same sort of folks who were working from home during Covid while blue collar folks showed up to work as 1st responders, in hospitals, stocking groceries, driving trucks and otherwise keeping the lights of modernity shining. Many of these arrogant jerks, particularly federal employees, have yet to show back up to the office. They are very much disconnected from the everyday experience of most US Citizens.

The other day the media also expressed surprise / amazement that most Americans are not saving enough (if anything) for retirement. These Einsteins haven’t figured out that you can’t grow a nest egg when there’s too much month left over after all one’s paycheck is spent on necessities.

There is a huge divide between those who work for gov’t or a large corporation where the paycheck comes in on time without any interruption and the small businesses person, gig/contract worker or those who face regular layoffs. The credentialed, laptop class are largely insulated from economic slowdown in comparison to the rest of the workforce. Add to that the employer provided healthcare
benefits they enjoy along with 401K match or in some cases old fashioned defined benefit retirement plans and the divide between their experience and that of average folks becomes even greater.

Dems are tone deaf to American citizens. But watch them jump when illegal invaders are complaining about food or hotel room quality.

Colorado law on cage free eggs is coming due if not already in place. Cost of eggs will rise there hopefully to a couple bucks per egg.
Vote for democraps get crappy legislation and get to pay more for it.
Dum basses.
