Trump: ‘There Will be All Hell to Pay’ if Hamas Doesn’t Release Hostages by January 20

“Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America.”

President-elect Donald Trump scorched Hamas over the hostages the terror group still has after October 7, 2023.

Trump wrote:

Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it’s all talk, and no action! Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity. Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!

Hamas has held 101 hostages for 423 days.

The terrorist group released a video of New Jersey native Edan Alexander on November 30.

I believe the terrorists still have six Americans in their grasp.

Unfortunately, we found out Hamas slaughtered NYC native Omer Neutra on October 7. They’ve been holding onto his body since then.

Kinda reminds me of Reagan taking over from the well meaning but hapless Carter. Notice that the Yeman’s holding the straights suddenly decided they want peace, Putin and Zelinski decided maybe a ceasefire could be worked out and Iran has stopped all the aggression against Israel.

Other old joke from same time period (the Cold War)….
Q : What’s the recipe to make Chicken Maryland?

“I believe the terrorists still have six Americans in their grasp.”

should be hit with 6 of those MOAB’s as a warning the first day,

Then, 2nd day move in to more serious targets.

He’s trying for the Reagan gambit. I don’t know if it will work for him, but it’s good to see him try it.

It’s the Trump gambit and we have history to fall back on because the Middle East during his first term was marked by how incredibly quiet it was once Trump stopped funding the PLA, starved Iran of money, brokered the Abraham Accords and achieved the impossible of getting the Saudi’s and the Jews talking to each other.

Well, none of that was impossible. It just required someone outside the swampy groupthink of Foggy Bottom to actually do what has been obvious to clearer heads since … about Carter’s administration.

And it is the Reagan Gambit, since he first played it before his inauguration in 1981.

    What gambit? This isn’t a gambit. It’s a warning of a reckoning.

So, you don’t know what a gambit is? It’s a set of moves that everyone knows the flow of in a game or other contest, that once initiated move to a couple of pre-determined outcomes.

Yes, it’s a gambit. You announce this, then they will either comply, call the bluff (and it isn’t a bluff), or initiate negotiations to get their heiny out of the sling. But there’s a pre-determined set of possible moves, with answering moves almost set in stone.

He’s basically saying don’t you make me come over there.

Biden said, he will issue a pardon for the terrorists.

That’s a nice Kharg Island you have there, Iran. It would be a shame if anything happened to it. The beauty is that we don’t need to do anything other than send ammunition to Israel and let them do the rest. I still giggle about the exploding pagers!

Very reminiscent of the Carter/Reagan transition. I was in DC the day of the inauguration and word was spreading like wildfire about the hostages being released. Coupled with finally being rid of the hapless Carter, it truly was Morning in America. Let’s hope & pray that this is the case this January too. It’s not going to be easy – Reagan’s first term was rough – but at least we’ll be heading in the right direction.

why is everybody forgetting about Erdogan, the Republic of Türkiye, and their involvement in this mess?

I appreciate the bravado.

Since he’s not specifying level of hell, it leaves options open.

Do be aware, many hostage takers would like to ensnare the US into the non stop trailer park drama that is the middle east.

So don’t be a dumb cluck with our blood and treasure.

Something tells me this is going to be perceived quite differently than “Just don’t” from the flaccid and corrupt Joe Biden*

Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.

The way to get hostages released is to make them a liability rather than an asset. Reagan basically told the Iranians to keep the hostages as long as they like, because they gave Reagan a political excuse to bomb Iran and do anything else to Iran that he wanted. Trump is doing the same thing, to make the hostages a liability.

The hostages should have been a liability from Oct 7, the Biden decision to abandon American citizens for over a year…
What a traitor!

The media that haven’t even mentioned these citizens

Should lose their licenses and not EVESr have a position in the WH press room

Disgusting
There was a time America was feared

Americans could travel the world with knowledge that as an American, you were safe

Wait till the Dems start claiming that J.D. Vance secretly flew to Qatar to persuade Hamas not to release the hostages before the election.

That’s what a real president sounds like.
Giggles would never say that.
