German Security Services Warn of Jihadist Attacks on Christmas Markets

German intel agency (BfV): Islamic terrorist groups could target Christmas markets because they represent “Christian values”.

German security services fear Islamic terror attacks at this year’s Christmas markets across the country. On Thursday, Germany’s Interior Minister Nancy Faeser urged “great vigilance” during the Christmas celebrations in public.

Germany’s domestic intelligence agency (BfV) warned that Islamic terrorist groups could target Christmas markets because they represent “Christian values” and are seen as an “embodiment of Western culture and way of life,” Germany’s public broadcaster DW TV reports.

In recent years, Christmas season in Germany has been marred by Jihadist terror threats. Last year, German police arrested two Islamic State-linked suspects for plotting to bomb a Christmas market in the city of Leverkusen. In 2016, an illegal Muslim migrant drove a truck into a Berlin Christmas market, killing 12 people and injuring 48.

The DW TV reported the latest Islamic terror threat:

German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser on Thursday called for “great vigilance” at Germany’s popular Christmas markets.

“Federal security authorities do not currently have any concrete indications of danger,” she told the newspapers of the RND media group.

“But in view of the high threat situation at an abstract level we still have reason to be very vigilant and to take effective action for our security,” she said, adding that security authorities were monitoring “all conceivable threats.”

The minister thanked the regional police forces of Germany’s states for being “present in many places with such great commitment” to ensure security.

Faeser pointed to heightened security measures, including the enforcement of a strict knife ban at Christmas markets, with infringement being penalized by fines of up to €10,000 ($10,543). (…)

Germany’s BfV domestic security agency said that Germany remained a target for “various terrorist organizations” including the so-called “Islamic State” group.

It said that Christmas markets could be targeted due to their “symbolism” related to “Christian values” and as an “embodiment of Western culture and way of life.”

The agency said that the markets could serve as a suitable target for individuals with an “Islamist motive.

In May, an Allahu Akbar-screaming Afghan terrorist stabbed a policeman to death and injured several others in Mannheim. Later in August, a knife-wielding Islamic terrorist murdered three people to death at a ‘diversity’ festival in Solingen.

The knife crimes have sky-rocketed across Germany since former Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the country’s borders to immigrants in the autumn of 2015. The data from “states showed that there were a total number of 26,113 knife attacks in Germany in 2023,” the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung reported late August.

The migrants now makes up to close to 20 percent of Germany’s 84 million population, changing country’s demography at a historic rate.

Amid mass-migration, the law and order situation has deteriorated so much that authorities in Berlin are now telling Jews and gays to hide their identity in city’s Arab-dominated areas, The Telegraph newspaper reported November 18:

Jews and gay people should hide their identity in parts of Berlin with large Arab populations, the German capital’s police chief has warned.

“There are areas of the city, we need to be perfectly honest here, where I would advise people who wear a kippah or are openly gay to be more careful,” said Barbara Slowik.

“There are certain neighbourhoods where the majority of people of Arab origin live, who also have sympathies for terrorist groups,” she said, adding that they were often “openly hostile towards Jews”.

In September, the German government was forced enforce immigration controls border crossings.

There used to be in the early 90s an annual company (Bell Labs) netnews battle against company Christmas decorations at work on the grounds that it discriminated against Jewish workers. Everybody looked forward to it, but it’s in a sense what goes around comes around. One convention once broken is still broken.

I wonder if that Marxist whore Merkel regrets what she did.

Funny how I never see justification for attacks on Islamic culture as:

“It said that Mosques could be targeted due to their “symbolism” related to “Islamic values” and as an “embodiment of Muslim culture and way of life.”

But those Christians? Everyone is OK with bashing Christians.

16 million Muslims

While it’s a big population, the article is incorrect. There are (probably) no more than 7M-Musilims in Germany. Of the ones that are there, roughly only half are citizens. It’s much hard to obtain German citizenship than it is US citizenship because they use jus sanguinis while we use jus soli; children of immigrants born in Germany aren’t automatically German citizens.

Not just Germany, either. The Scandinavian countries, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, too. Italy seems destined to follow, even with a conservative government installed.

Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Switzerland appear to be the only nations possessing the gumption and leadership (though Poland’s leftist government is concerning) to resist the Islamofascist tide.

Much of Europe’s future is civil war, followed by dictatorship, followed by the forced ejection (or outright murder) of Muslims.

Much of Europe’s future is civil war, followed by dictatorship, followed by the forced ejection (or outright murder) of Christians. Oh wait, that’s already happening around the world. Where ever islam gains traction Christians and all other religions are violently suppressed and those that refuse to bow down are slaughtered. We see it in the European Union. We see it in the U.K. And the sad part is that Christians are largely blind to what is happening. Love They Neighbor is all good and well unless that neighbor wants you dead. Then all bets are off.

Looking at the percentages within the Muslim faith….about 15% believe in armed seizure and subjugation of the land. 50% believe in punishing those that defile the name of The Prophet (peace be upon him…or else). Some do acknowledge the “People of the Book” (Jews and Christians) but only as second class and they forget that the last words of Allah are to have no dealings with Jews or Christians … and killing of the Jews expressly permitted. So whether citizens or not….those are the facts.

Irrelevant, because Islam doesn’t conquer by vote. They will take Germany by force, as Islam has always done.

The West has been shitting on Christian values for 3 or 4 decades. The Berlin Christmas market has drag queens.

Meanwhile, the commie German government punishes any mere plebe that notices that Muslims are a major fucking problem. They and the Muslims both hate Western civilization. Same goes for leftists in any major western country.

“16 million Muslims

Sweet Jesus, Germany is gone”

trees … lamp posts … rope ….
the midnight knock on the door

The Christmas Markets in Europe, particularly in Germany, Austria, Poland and a few other northern European countries are things that should be on your bucket list. They’re wonderful. The only thing that surprises me about this story is that it didn’t have to be written before 2024 considering the robust import of Muslims into Europe the last 2-decades. We learned NOTHING from 9/11 and apparently neither did anyone else…except the Jihadists.

What’s really weird is while Christmas is banned in several Muslim-majority countries (the craziest ones including KSA), there are plenty of Muslim countries where you’ll see plenty of Christmas decorations. Malls in Dubai during the Holiday season for example don’t look materially different than a mall in Chicago or New York and yet, no one is bombing those places because they know what would happen to them if they did.

Banning knives at markets will stop Muslim Jihadi’s intent on murdering people because it’s against the law and there is a huge fine. Bwahahahahaha

Europe, save the Visegrad nations and Switzerland, has fallen to the Islamofascist/Muslim supremacist scimitar, without a shot fired on the battlefield (but, certainly fired in terrorism contexts).

A “holy war” waged by relentless immigration, procreation, goose-stepping bullying and intimidation, and, unrelenting terrorism — all directly enabled by appallingly feckless, emasculated, stupid, naive and narcissistic leftist dhimmi politicians, such as Merkel, Macron, et al.

The Germans I interacted with in the late 70’s during a NATO exercise could handle these knife wielding thugs. Today not so much. Amazing the changes in societies in 50 years. SMH

It is far from lost.

Bring it, Achmed.
