Israel Strikes Terror Targets in Southern Lebanon as Hezbollah Violates Ceasefire

“The IDF remains in southern Lebanon and acting to enforce violations of the ceasefire agreement.”

The Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah violated the ceasefire with Israel nearly 24 hours after it came into effect. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), on Thursday, detected Hezbollah terrorist activities in several areas of southern Lebanon.

“Over the past hour, several suspects were identified arriving with vehicles to a number of areas in southern Lebanon, breaching the conditions of the ceasefire,” the Israeli military said in a statement Thursday morning. “The IDF opened fire toward them.”

Later in the day, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) destroyed a Hezbollah missile storage site close to Israel’s northern border. Israeli airstrike came after Israeli military ‘identified activity’ at the Hezbollah missile dump, The Times of Israel confirmed. “This is the first strike by warplanes since the ceasefire went into effect,” the news outlet noted.

“A short while ago, terrorist activity was identified in a facility used by Hezbollah to store mid-range rockets in southern Lebanon. The threat was thwarted by an IAF aircraft,” the military disclosed in a press release Thursday afternoon.

The Israeli armed forces vowed to stay in southern Lebanon till Hezbollah terrorist activities continued in the area. “The IDF remains in southern Lebanon and acting to enforce violations of the ceasefire agreement,” the statement added.

The Israeli news website YNET reported the ceasefire violations by Hezbollah:

The IDF reported Thursday afternoon targeting a Hezbollah site in southern Lebanon housing medium-range rockets, marking the first airstrike since the cease-fire took effect early Tuesday.

The military said the strike neutralized a terror threat and reiterated its commitment to preventing violations of the cease-fire agreement. IDF forces remain deployed in southern Lebanon to enforce the truce.

Meanwhile, IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee issued a statement on X, warning residents of southern Lebanon against movement south of the Litani River for the second day since the cease-fire took effect

The Israeli military warned Lebanese residents from returning to the terrorist-ridden southern Lebanon while Hezbollah remained active in the area. “The IDF reiterated warnings for Lebanese seeking to return to their homes in southern Lebanon in areas where the army is still deployed,” Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported.

Syria: Rebel forces kill senior Iranian IRGC terror operative

Sensing Iranian retreat in the region, Syrian rebels appear to have launched an offensive against the Mullah regime and its proxies. A senior Iranian Islamic Guard (IRGC) terror operative was killed in the latest wave of fighting, Tehran confirmed Thursday.

The Times of Israel reported:

Iranian media reports a senior military adviser from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was killed in Syria.

According to the reports, Brig. Gen. Kioumars Pourhashemi was killed in western Aleppo.

Syrian rebel groups launched a large-scale attack on areas controlled by government forces yesterday, setting off fierce clashes and seizing territory in western Aleppo.

The offensive was launched the same day that the ceasefire began between Syrian ally Hezbollah and Israel.

The Bashar al-Assad regime-controlled Syria has become a major safe haven for Hezbollah and other Iranian proxy terror groups since IDF began dismantling the terrorist infrastructure in neighboring Lebanon. “Since Israel began ground operations in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah terrorists have reportedly begun to abandon their posts and flee to Syria,” the Jerusalem Post noted on October 28.

Gaza: IDF continues ground operation in Jabalia terror stronghold

The IDF troops were keeping up the pressure on Hamas while the terrorist group continues to hold over a hundred Israeli hostages since October 7, 2023. The Israeli ground operation is focused on the northern terrorist stronghold of Jabalia and Rafah in the south.

Israeli ground troops, particularly the soldiers of the IDF’s 162nd Divisional, were operating in a “dense, complex, and urban environment” in Jabalia. They “are systematically dismantling terrorist infrastructure and neutralizing numerous explosive devices.”

As we are all aware, Hezbollah will violate the “cease fire” at will and it is clear that Israel will retaliate for these violations, despite the hopes of the Biden administration.

A ceasefire in name only, IOW.

Over the long haul it is best that all terrorists and their supporters are expelled or probably better if they are eradicated. I do not believe there can be peace on any other terms.

So true! And how can you make an agreement with a terrorist organization whose “religion” demands you LIE to your enemies? Seriously, why would any SANE Nation believe or agree to any agreement with a muslim group? Israel does the right thing to TRY, but as we’ve seen, the muslims simply move their mouths for “peace” while moving their WEAPONS to murder more innocents! Imagine if Joe Biden had been an Israeli – there would NOT be an Israel!!

Did the regime take credit for that too.

There have been endless ceasefire agreements, all violated by the terrorists, with such violations too often tolerated by western countries and Israel in their understandable desire to avoid conflict. But October 7 changed things for the Israelis, and November 5 changed things for the U.S. I guess Hezbollah hasn’t fully digested this yet.

The Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah violated the ceasefire with Israel nearly 24 hours after it came into effect.

They waited almost 24 hours before they violated the agreement … that’s pretty good for the arab world, to be honest.

IDF and IAF lots better than UN Peace Keepers.

“Hezbollah Violated Ceasefire.” Of course. Lying to Kafirs, called “Taqiyya,” qualifies as a virtue in Islam. “Islam has no concept of being truthful to non-Muslims.” (Brightwork Research & Analysis). A “Kafir” is a non-Muslim and the term is pejorative, use now discouraged.

The typical bookstore English Quran is a whitewash. The most accurate, translation comes from Pickthall, a British convert to Islam. According to Peter Friedman, this translation is authorized by the Cairo Institute, so don’t let the apologists tell you the Pickthall translation is a distortion. Read Pickthall to see what they really believe.

Thus we cannot enter into any agreement with any Muslim country. Their religion dictates they lie to us if it promotes Islam.

BTW Peter Friedman used to run a website called “Islam Threat.” A treasure trove of information about Islam. He was somehow put out of business. I don’t know how. He told me that Reform Rabbis in the Bay Area won’t let him in the door. He used to give a series of lectures on the penetration of Islam into the US. I think at least one is still up on YouTube.

That didn’t last long

Daniel Greenfield has the proper viewpoint on negotiating with Islamic terrorists:
“The first rule of negotiating with Islamic terrorists is don’t. The second rule is if you do it, do it with heavy artillery.”

Every time Hezbollah fires a rocket into Israel, then the IDF should bomb two sites in Iran. Don’t worry about hitting Lebanon.

I find it entertaining how an Israeli strike seems to cause MULTIPLE secondary explosions! The left hasn’t figured out a way to blame those on Israeli “secret” weapons – YET!!
Hopefully PRESIDENT TRUMP will initiate the same financial restraints that brought Iran to it’s knees and maybe the Iranian people who want to live in peace and prosperity will rise up and make the mullahs just a bad memory!

There is no point inaking agreements with savages aside from reminding others of their true nature.
