Israel: Government, Opposition Parties Reject ICC Arrest Warrant for Netanyahu
Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Office: “Israel vehemently rejects the absurd and false actions and accusations against it by the International Criminal Court, a biased and discriminatory political body.”
Israeli government and opposition parties resoundingly rejected the International Criminal Court’s decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. On Thursday, the Hague-based court ruled that these two Israeli leaders bore “criminal responsibility” for overseeing a military operation against the terrorist group Hamas in response to the October 7 massacre.
“ICC Pre-Trial Chamber I rejects the State of Israel’s challenges to jurisdiction and issues warrants of arrest for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant,” the tribunal posted on X, without mentioning the real atrocities and war crimes committed by Hamas terrorists.

Prime Minister Netanyahu slammed the so-called international court’s decision as ‘antisemitic’ for going after Israel as the country fights for its existence against Gaza-based Hamas and Lebanon’s Hezbollah terrorist groups. The Jewish State also faces a multi-pronged attack from Iran and its terror proxies across the Middle East.
The antisemitic decision of the International Criminal Court is a modern Dreyfus trial – and will end the same way.
Israel utterly rejects the false and absurd charges of the International Criminal Court, a biased and discriminatory political body.https://t.co/slCeoZ4fbX

The Jerusalem Post reported PM Netanyahu’s response:
Israel claimed that the court has no authority to discuss the Palestinian complaint against it, which recently led to the prosecutor’s request to issue arrest warrants against the prime minister and the defense minister.
The Prime Minister’s Office responded to the warrants, calling the decision antisemitic.
“The antisemitic decision of the International Criminal Court is equivalent to a modern-day Dreyfus trial—and it will end the same way,” the PMO said.
“Israel vehemently rejects the absurd and false actions and accusations against it by the International Criminal Court, a biased and discriminatory political body.”
The PMO also said that the decision was made by “a corrupt chief prosecutor attempting to save himself from severe allegations of sexual harassment, and by biased judges driven by antisemitic hatred toward Israel,” accusing prosecutor Karim Khan of lying to US senators when he said he would not “act against Israel before visiting” Israel.
The ICC ruling was rejected by leaders across the Israeli political spectrum, The Times of Israel reported:
Negev, Galilee and National Resilience Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf characterized the warrants as “antisemitic accusations against all citizens of Israel” and pledged that Jerusalem would “not be deterred and will continue to fight murderous terrorism.”
“Simply antisemitism, always antisemitism,” said Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf, citing a verse from the Book of Numbers that describes the Jews as “a people that dwells alone, not reckoned among the nations.”
President Isaac Herzog said that the ICC decision marked “a dark day for justice [and] humanity.”
By issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant, the ICC has “chosen the side of terror and evil over democracy and freedom, and turned the very system of justice into a human shield for Hamas’ crimes against humanity,” Herzog charged, calling for “true moral clarity in the face of an Iranian empire of evil that seeks to destabilize our region and the world.”
The Associated Press continued:
Israel’s opposition leaders fiercely criticized the ICC’s move. Benny Gantz, a retired general and political rival to Netanyahu, condemned the decision, saying it showed “moral blindness” and was a “shameful stain of historic proportion that will never be forgotten.”
Yair Lapid, another opposition leader, called it a “prize for terror.”
Israel and the United States do not recognize the jurisdiction of the so-called international court. In May 2020, the court pushed for an absurd ‘war crimes’ investigation against U.S. servicemen fighting Al Qaeda and Taliban Islamic terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
President Donald Trump responded to the witch hunt with sanctions on the then-ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda. In 2021, the Biden administration dropped the sanctions, with Secretary Antony Blinken calling the Trump-era sanctions “inappropriate.”
The tribunal has been toying with the idea of a similar probe against Israel even before the October 7 massacre and mass-kidnappings forced the IDF to launch a military operation against Hamas in Gaza.
The ICC has no credibility and these allegations have been refuted by the U.S. government.
Israel has lawfully defended its people & borders from genocidal terrorists. You can expect a strong response to the antisemitic bias of the ICC & UN come January. https://t.co/jIalwzooeS

The arrest warrants against Israeli leaders come as ICC’s chief prosecutor Karim Khan faces multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, raising speculations that the anti-Israel witch hunt could be a desperate bid to divert attention away from the looming scandal.
“The International Criminal Court has announced an external investigation into accusations of sexual misconduct against its chief prosecutor,” the BBC reported on November 11. “The announcement followed media reports about a document outlining accusations against Mr Khan, understood to include unwanted sexual touching and “abuse”.”
The ICC’s arrest warrant against Prime Minister Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Gallant is outrageous, unlawful, and dangerous. Leader Schumer should bring a bill to the floor sanctioning the ICC. If he chooses not to act, the new Senate Republican majority next year will. pic.twitter.com/kckPXPOoLD

How many “warrants” has the ICC issued for Islamic based terrorist groups? If the answer is zero than the ICC gets zero respect.
A overwhelming majority of the “convictions” handed down by the ICC are of Africans. Make of that what you will.
The obvious next step is for the Israeli authorities to issue arrest warrants for every charlatan involved in this ICC charade, and then begin extradition proceedings. Make these f**kers live by their own rules
Not only does the ICC have no legal authority, but no moral authority either.
Ignore and sanction,
And de-fund
The US should cease supporting the UN, and perhaps withdraw altogether. Trump could declare all UN diplomats persona non grata. I don’t know if this would violate any treaties. I don’t think US courts could interfere as the US president is in charge of foreign policy. This would send a clear message of our displeasure with the UN which is anti western, and anti Israel. Of course all the usual suspects would howl. So what. What could they do about it? We had an election, and Trump has a clear mandate to act.
This is a great idea, Kick the UN out of that dump of a building in New York, then let Mayor Adams use it to house illegal aliens in his city until ICE comes to deport them.
Yes, let’s arrest the Jews’ leaders for possessing the temerity to resist the Arab Muslim Fakestinian invaders from Arabia’s genocidal predations and implacable belligerence and barbarism against their country and their people.
Anyone who legitimizes this ICC farce, and/or, participates in it, is evil and is a collaborator with goose-stepping, genocidal Islamofascism.
Mossad should pay Mr. Khan an O’dark thirty visit, and escort him to b#^k0p&3%ypt in order to ‘explain’ things to him.
It’s time for the charade of so-called “Palestine” and “Palestinians” to end. Long past time.
These people are Arab invaders from Arabia. The etymology of “Palestine” is “Palaestina,” contrived by the ancient Romans after they had conquered Judaea, referencing the Philistines as a triumphant insult to the Jews. The supremacist, totalitarian, belligerent and hate-filled ideology of “Submission” didn’t even exist at the time, nor did any “Muslims.”
The very name “Palestine” is an indirect reference to Jews.
Bibi to the ICC: Go suck a lemon, hockey puck!
Under Trump I think the US will begin defunding quite a number of UN Agencies like the ICC, UNRWA, Unicef etc. All are corrupt.
We need to defund everything not actually required by treaty (one that has been ratified by the US Senate).
again how many warrants have been
issued against the people involved
in terror activities including oct 7.
also how many divisions does the ICC
have to send to Israel to arrest
the people named.
The USA should change yearly funding of the UN and all UN agencies to $1 only so we can still set on the Security Council..
Why does the U.S. have to support this joke?
Did the response anywhere include the Hebrew equivalent of “Bite me”? I would also accept Yiddish.
Hebrew: Lech (plural would be Lechu) l’Azazel.
Yiddish has too many options to list.
“In order to create a false impression of fairness, the international criminal court also issued an arrest warrant for Hamas military leader Mohammed Deif… who is dead.”
Agents probably won’t want to serve the arrest warrant on him where he is now.
These idiots do not understand what will happen if they somehow grab Netanyahu.
This is a nation that has gone after their enemies everywhere.
There are several nations the ICC doesn’t seem to understand that you don’t mess with.
Russia
China
The United States (Especially since we will send in the Marines. See the Invade the Hague Act)
Israel
These are all countries that can and will do something spectacularly massive if they feel the need.
