Stockton University Prof Claims Israel is Guilty of White ‘Jewish Supremacy’

Professor Claims Israel Guilty of White “Jewish Supremacy”
The director of the Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies (MAHG) program at Stockton University has charged Israel with a litany of “heinous crimes” and misdeeds in his recently published academic article.
Raz Segal, a historian and professor who teaches many students, published his antisemitic rhetoric in the prestigious Journal of Palestine Studies. Central to his claim is that Jews are now perpetuating a “Jewish supremacy” and are themselves engaging in antisemitism.
“White supremacy in Israel has manifested itself as Jewish supremacy… creating a White Jewish settler society,” Segal says, bizarrely arguing that Israel is alluring to “white antisemitism” (i.e. white Jews) because the population is mostly Ashkenazi, he argues.
He further denigrates Israeli Ashkenazi Jews in his article, blaming them for the war.
“White supremacy in Israel, however, manifested itself as Jewish supremacy, which now defined state power and served as the guiding principle for the unprecedented project of creating a White Jewish settler society,” says Segal.
Without providing a clear definition of what he means by “settler antisemitism,” he continues to imply that white Jews such as those from Litvak or Ashkenazi descent are racist against Mizrahi Jews.
Ironically, by characterizing the entire Ashkenazi population as racist, he himself is committing an act that most people would consider racist.
“Settler antisemitism [white Jews in Israel] became an important force in rejecting and excluding multiple Jewish identities and people who threatened it, especially those rooted linguistically and culturally in the Arab world,” Segal adds.
He also goes on to claim that black people should be resentful of Jews.

I detect no logic or reason in this claim.
1. The majority of Israeli Jews are not Ashkenazi.
2. Historically it was Sepharadi Jews who looked down on Ashkenazim and thought themselves superior. It’s only in the 20th century that that reversed.
3. While it’s true that the secular Ashkenazi elite who dominated Israel from the pre-state days until the 1970s discriminated against non-Ashkenazim, ,suppressed them socially, kept them economically dependent and kept significant political power out of their hands, that started changing in 1977 with Begin’s election, and has been completely gone for decades.
4. What’s more, it’s the political and academic left that’s overwhelmingly Ashkenazi and always has been. If this guy sees Ashkenazi dominance it’s because of who he is and the people he associates with. He’s Ashkenazi himself, and he probably associates only with fellow Ashknenazi antisemites from North Tel-Aviv who think they’re so sophisticated.
Jeez, add a few soupçons of WTF to that whackademic’s word salad!
What is wrong with that? Or is it now the opinion of the sophisticated that unlike everyone else, Jews and whites cannot have their own places where they rule for their own benefit?
