OH! Democratic VP candidate Gov. Tim Walz did bring a gun to his pheasant hunting trip.
Except…does he even know how to use it???

MSNBC shared a clip of Walz earlier going pheasant hunting.
MSNBC also admits the trip is nothing more than an appeal to hunters and white males:

This comes, friends, as we know that they’re going to have Walz doing sort of a blitz, reaching out to men. Young men voters. They know, 50 50 swing vote. They know they need to get them.
SECOND ANCHOR: Yes. Can I just say, Coach Walz is giving a pheasant hunting glam this morning. That is the governor’s daughter that you see her in the back. Look at this. She’s making feather hunting fetch is happening. She’s making fetch happen.
MSNBC implies that Tim Walz going pheasant hunting is nothing more than a desperate attempt to make up ground with male voters.

Truthfully, when I heard he would be “going hunting,” I wondered how they were going to address the problem of having Tim in the middle of a bunch of guys with guns. I never expected them to solve it in the stupidest way possible.
Kinder, gentler pheasant hunting? Once again the Democrats demonstrate that they never have a correct answer to the question ‘How?’

I feel ripped off. I wanted to see what Walz and gang do when they actually see a pheasant. Will they throw rocks at it? Call it names? Point at it and let it fly away (“leftist hunting” in the duchamp style)? Or just all chase after it on foot with some Benny Hill music in the background?
When I was about nine and my brother was seven we were down at City Ice And Grocery in Bennettsville, SC just hanging out by the railroad tracks when a rabbit hopped up on a rail.
Greek Gandy was the proprietor of the establishment and he dared Matt to hit the rabbit with a rock.
Matt picked up a piece of granite ballast, reared back and nailed the rabbit in the head, killing it instantly.
Greek was so impressed he gave us both Pepsis and a big bag of popcorn.
I doubt “Coach” could do that.

This campaign photo op wasn’t very well scripted. How do you try for the typical d/prog ‘look at me, I got a borrowed O/U shotgun on a bird hunt, see NRA/GOA I am a gun guy’ staging without bringing a firearm?
Especially when, as others pointed out, since this goofball has already lied about carrying ‘a weapon of war in a combat zone’. This was an easy lay up to get the stupid photos of Waltz with a shotgun to try and deceive voters but they ain’t competent enough to pull off the deception.
