The Israeli news website YNET reported:
On Tuesday the IDF rescued alive hostage Qaid Farhan Alkadi, 52, a resident of the Rahat area who was kidnapped on October 7 from Kibbutz Magen on the border with Gaza where he worked as a guard at the packing house. There are now 108 hostages in captivity, many of them believed to be dead.
Alkadi was rescued alive around noon on Tuesday where he was being held alone in the Gaza Strip, in a complex operation in the southern Gaza Strip by Shayetet 13, the 401st Brigade, Yahalom and ISA forces under the command of the 162nd Division. He is in a stable medical condition and was transferred for medical checks at a hospital, after being questioned by the forces in the field.
Alkadi is married and the father of 11. He lived with his family south of Rahat and was kidnapped while at work as a security guard.
Hathem, Alkadi’s brother, said the family was “happy to receive the news,” of his rescue. “We’re thankful for everyone and hope to see him returning to health,” he added.
Later, just before he went in to meet his brother at the hospital, Hathem said that he hopes that the joy that the family now feels will be felt by all the other families of hostages. “We hope that there will already be a deal and that all the hostages will come out and that all the emotions we feel – all the parents and families of the hostages will feel the same way.” The family was not sure until now if Alkadi was alive or dead, he said;”He was resurrected today.”
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said following the operation: “As part of the bold and determined operations of the IDF and Shin Bet forces deep in the Gaza Strip, our fighters succeeded in rescuing Farhan Alkadi and returning him to his family in Israel. This operation joins a series of impressive operational activities that bring us closer to achieving all the goals of the war.”

Biden and Harris have no comment except “DAMN IT”
Alkadi is married and the father of 11.
On top of all the other good news! A lot of kids glad their father is home today. May God bless them all.
Now, IDF and everyone else: Finish the job!
The only way there will be peace is to remove all belligerent Pales, in Israel and all other civilized places. South Africa seems like a good destination. the effect would be much like our sanctuary cities.
Some good news for a change.
His brother doesnt look much like a Jew to me? Seems a pretty good indicator that Israel isnt white supremacy on steroids eh?!?
Fuck Joe and Kamaltoe!
Wait a minute.
The Jews rescued a Muslim?
Hamas kidnapped Muslims?
But the “Free Palestine” nut jobs wants things to be so cut and dry! Jews bad! Hamas good!
Well, nut jobs, things aren’t so cut and dry.
Where do you see that information? Are you basing it solely on his name?
Bedouin
https://www.algemeiner.com/2024/08/27/israeli-forces-rescue-hostage-alive-gaza-tunnel/
It’s pretty clear
It’s pretty clear from his name and his family’s look he is Muslim.
He happens to be Bedouin, but you cannot tell by looking. Lots of Jews look just like Arabs. Nor is it simple to tell by the name unless it’s something like “Mohammad” that comes directly from the Muslim religion. Lots of Israeli Jews came from the Middle East, where their ancestors lived since Judaism was invented, and have names and the secular part of their culture like other Middle Easterners.
The news reports say he is Bedouin.
what???
no sloped tunnels!?!?!?!?
Blessed be to God for this news…..and God Bless the brave Israelis who rescued this man. And God Bless Israel.
Glad he’s back. He looks so thin and older because of those bastards. Glad he’s back for his 11 (wow) kids!
I like the picture of his brother with him. Brother is big smiley :)!
Rescued hostages are going to be the only way. There’s no good faith in negotiating with terrorist grifters.
a living testament to the skill and the will of the idf/special forces
well done, ladies and gentlemen
Many cudo’s to the Men and Women of the IDF and praise God for his safe return.
