In the Tuesday chaos, I forgot to write about male boxer Imane Khelif advancing to the Olympic gold medal round in the women’s welterweight division.
Yes, a male boxer will likely win the gold medal in a female boxing division.

Khelif has XY chromosomes due to a chromosomal disorder. My friend Carole Hooven explained the disorder on Twitter.
But overall, as Hooven said, those born with the disorder are male.

The International Boxing Association (IBA) banned Khelif from the female division because two sex tests showed the XY chromosomes.
The IBA told the IOC in June 2023 about Khelif’s sex tests:

American women today are idiots. They seem to value male attributes above all, and pretend to themselves that there are no differences between men and women. So an XY boxer presenting as female (which I believe is the case with the Algerian) fighting an XX boxer is totally fair. Yeah. Sure. But just as American women will not argue for single sex restrooms on the basis of safety, so they are allowing male intruders to destroy the very concept of women’s sports. Insane. How much education and sophistication does it take to be so stupid??? No one brought up on a farm would mistake the inherent danger of dealing with a whole male animal of any size. Even a glamorous male swan will happily whip you with his wing, and leave you seriously bruised. (Yes, he will.). Have any of these geniuses tried punching out a guy? They should give it a try.

Appears to be fully male in all respects, except a defect causes the male gentilia to not fully develop which creates the appearance of somewhat similar to female gentilia without the female plumbing.
Thus definitely male.
It’s a good post but the gray area is that one or more of the genes on the Y chromosome don’t express properly.
The spectrum disorder is called Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome and it is a spectrum because there are different degrees of insensitivity.
Full insensitivity to androgens essentially confers a female phenotype very similar to any other females.
Partial insensitivities fall in a gray area. Some are still born with testes that function some are non-functional, some are even born with tissue resembling one testis and a separate tissue mass resembling one ovary.
This is hard to classify but it needs to be delineated carefully and “the feels” shouldn’t be the deciding factor but the actual biology here.
I believe the person in question has a partial insensitivity but some of that info is private.

No, that is not true. As Healthguy said, there exist people who are physically female, almost indistinguishable from any other female, but with XY chromosomes. It is ridiculous to claim that such people are men. They look like women, quack like women, and waddle like women; therefore they are women. There are very very few such cases, but even one case proves that while sex is caused by chromosomes it is not defined by them. Therefore chromosomes can only be used as a rough guide, not as a precise measurement.

Gonna be interesting to see how this blatant example of unfair competition at the Olympics plays out in an election year. Dude has XY chromosomes which is exhibit A and should be the end of the discussion about his participation in the Olympics in the female category.
I wish no harm to any of the women, but in a way it would be best if this guy wins the gold medal.
The utter stupidity of allowing a male to compete in the women’s boxing tournament should receive as much coverage as possible, and a gold medal for a male will increase the exposure.

its worth noting when googling Men in womens boxing – every major news organization is reporting that those two guys are females. NPR, NYT , NBC, WP , reuters, etc. are all claiming those guys are girls.

Originally I planned to largely ignore the Olympics. However my widowed oldest daughter is living here with us for a while, and she was a competitive gymnast when she was young, and is far more into sports than I. So therefore, we are watching.
However these two Trannies have convinced me. No contributions to anything Olympic and to discourage anybody else from doing so. I don’t care about whatever delusions the Trannies have; but I detest the essential unfairness of having males in combat against women. The Olympics can just die as far as I am concerned.
