Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy went on an epic rant on Monday, ripping Democrats for claiming to support democracy as they kick Joe Biden to the curb and seemingly coronate Kamala Harris as their new nominee.
Portnoy notes that Kamala Harris dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary before a single vote was cast.

Who knows what they said to him behind doors or what package they came up with. Pelosi, Obama, Clooney — all pushing this old man down a flight of stairs. Forget all that, they did it, fine. They hijacked Democracy. No other way to say it,” Portnoy ranted…

I agree that we can’t become complacent. That said, I firmly believe that Trump-Vance’s margin and breadth of victory will be too large for even the vile Dhimmi-crats’ perennial and predictable election fraud, shenanigans and chicanery to overcome.
Don’t forget the “October surprise”, if needed. Joe will resign just before the election, “so Kamala will have a running start for her new Presidency.” IMO DJT will have to be lucky again to win.
She was chosen specifically because she enables rigging. 99% of registered voters voting Democrat in black districts is colorably legal (if obviously fraudulent) with her as the candidate, like it was for Obama. That doesn’t work for Biden. Plus more rigging can be justified by “women voting Democrat in record numbers”. She makes beating Trump easy if you’re willing to resort to fraud to do it, and like 2020 no court will entertain investigating suspicious voting patterns.

The opportunity to view the d/prog political apparatus in all its hypocritical maneuvering to shove Biden off after having rigged their primary to produce him as the nominee is certainly there for anyone interested in seeing it for what it is. It is about retaining power and imposing their policies onto the rest of us. It isn’t about the good of the Nation, if that had a damn thing to do with it the d/prog would be shouting for Biden to resign his office and if he refused to invoke the 25A. Heck they should have done this last spring but they let the fever of mugshots and indictments convince them to kick the can.
This may come as quite of a shock to some but the Democrats actually hijacked democracy in 2020, probably 2022. And unless the voting public actually overwhelms the polls, they’ll do it again this year.

There’s no Democracy to hijack here. They convinced him to drop out. Period. All they did was convince him not to run for President again. I’m really struggling to see how that has anything to do with the larger picture of “the people” or “democracy”*.
Even if you read “the people” as “Democrat voters in the primaries” it’s not denying them “their will” unless there’s a violation of the party by-laws and rules going on. The people making this claim sound like they would be screeching about “violation of our democracy” if the 25th Amendment was applied properly. Or, even the 12th or 20th, or the Presidential Succession Act of 1947.
And it’s not a “coup” to convince the current President he shouldn’t run for office, again. Heck, it’s not even a coup that the VP is now the face of the cabal running things. That’s the order of succession laid out in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5. It’s awful they’re not being honest about the way they’re doing it, yes. (But, the coup happened when a cabal started running things instead of the President, himself. And that happened long before Biden.)
If they knew he was incompetent, which they did, and withheld it, as they did, there was never a true and fair primary process for others to effectively join. As indicated below, would Harris have survived that process?

You can argue about them hiding his dementia or whatever undermining our Constitution or system of gov’t, and I won’t disagree. But that he was convinced to drop out after the primaries is not a violation of “our norms” or anything.
(* Well, true if you believe those people didn’t willfully close their eyes to his blundering and blathering. I think they knew, but didn’t want to admit it – like most abused spouses.)
They unfairly and dishonestly manipulated their own voters. Then, after those manipulated voters voted in the primary in the manner for which they had programmed, the party decided to ignore the voters’ decision. That’s anti-democratic, from start to finish. It’s icing on the cake that they nullified their primary voters’ choice not because their lie (concerning Joe’s cognitive decline) had been exposed, but because the exposure ruined his viability as a candidate. Had the lie not been exposed, they would have been perfectly happy to continue the charade, and to have the lettuce reelected (having maintained the duping of their voters). It was bad all along. It has recently become worse. Nothing they did was “for democracy,” the improvement of the Republic, or out of respect for their own voters, who they consider stepping-stones to power, and for which they have as little regard.
They did more than “convince him.” They extorted him. He was (putatively) their people’s choice.
