Gov. Whitmer on Being Kamala Harris’s VP: ‘I’m Not Leaving Michigan’

“I am proud to be the governor of Michigan. I’ve been consistent. I know everyone is always suspicious…I’m not going anywhere,”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been considered a possible VP pick for Vice President Kamala Harris.

I’m not saying it won’t happen, but Whitmer said she won’t accept an invite to be Harris’s VP:

A local news reporter with WLNS asked Whitmer if she were prepared to take the job of vice presidency alongside Vice President Kamala Harris who is now running for president.

“No. I’m not planning to go anywhere,” Whitmer replied.

“I am not leaving Michigan. I am proud to be the governor of Michigan. I’ve been consistent. I know everyone is always suspicious…I’m not going anywhere,” said Whitmer.

When pressed why it took “so long” for Whitmer to endorse Harris, who announced she would run for president after president Joe Biden dropped out of the race on Sunday, Whitmer said she “wanted a minute” to “let the dust settle.”

“I think everyone was surprised by the news yesterday, even though there was a lot of conversations about it, and that means co-chairs included. So I wanted a minute to check in with all my colleages, and let the dust settle. And proud to be supporting the vice president for president,” Whitmer said.

She wants the top job.

IMO this is starting to be confirmation that everybody knows Kamala is going to lose badly, and they won’t try to cheat her over the top, they’ll let her lose catastrophically to get rid of her.

That’s a man, baby!

Or Wretched Whitless wants to stay close to Canada in case she has to flee.

Why is her face always so shiny? Does she rub vaseline jelly on her face?

They are going to pick a candidate who can help them in contested House races.

I think they are conceding the White House and Senate but going all in on the House which they still have an outside chance to win.

She’s just worried that a “kidnapping attempt” would succeed if she had Secret Service protection.

In my opinion, accepting to be Kamala Harris’ #2 amounts to political suicide.
Unless the plan is to later remove her and become #1, and that’s a long shot.

LOL, no sane person, male or female, want’s to be crone-harlot, Harris’s, personal bitch and whipping guy/gal.

The question is, which male Dhimmi-crat governor or Senator is sufficiently emasculated to meekly submit to Harris’s legendary wrath and thin-skinned petulance, and, join the ride as her willing cuck-boy?

Agree- look at the down ticket logic: VP choice should be from a state they want to salvage.

If Virginia is up for grabs- for instance.

I honestly think Wa could be vulnerable for them in the House.

So you’d have to look to where they are weak in house/senate races.

“Gov. Whitmer..: ‘I’m Not Leaving Michigan’

Except, of course, if there’s another COVID lockdown.

Anyone who believes a single word this banshee says is a fool. She is as evil as the day is long.

I can not see much political advantage to signing on to be Harris’s running mate then getting curb stomped in November. It would be hard to come back from that, I think. Much better to let it ride then run in 2028 banking on either Harris losing or in the off chance she win’s being such a disaster that Dems scream for another choice.
