Israel Eliminates Hezbollah Rocket Commander, Expands Operation in Rafah Terror Stronghold

Israel Eliminates Hezbollah Rocket Commander, Expands Operation in Rafah Terror Stronghold

The New York Times: “Israel’s military said (…) that more than 950,000 civilians in the city had relocated since it gave expanded evacuation orders.”

In retaliation to Iran-backed Hezbollah’s increased rocket attacks from southern Lebanon, Israeli military eliminated terror group’s regional rocket chief in a drone strike.

“The commander of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit in the terror group’s coastal division was killed in an airstrike Monday,” The Times of Israel reported Tuesday. “Qassem Saqlawi was targeted in a drone strike while driving in the Tyre area in southern Lebanon.”

The drone strike is part of IDF’s strategy to target Hezbollah’s terrorist leadership in the southern Lebanon. “The military says that more than 30 Hezbollah commanders have been killed in its strikes in southern Lebanon amid the war in the past seven months,” the news website added.

The slain terrorist was behind several rocket attacks into Israel since Hezbollah renewed hostilities in the wake of the October 7 massacre. “Saqlawi was responsible for planning and executing numerous rocket attacks against the Israeli home front. As part of his role, he promoted and planned rocket and anti-tank launches toward the State of Israel from the coastal sector in Lebanon,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a press release Tuesday.

Hezbollah admitted that Saqlawi and several other terrorists were killed in Israel strikes. The setback comes as Iran, Hezbollah’s main backer, lost its President Ebrahim Raisi, aka “Butcher of Tehran,” in a helicopter crash.

IDF operating in Rafah, central Gaza

As the military operation in Hamas-held stronghold of Rafah entered its second week, the IDF is expanding its control over the city. The military was advancing “into Rafah, one area after another and gradually expanding,” the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported Tuesday.

Israeli ground troops, supported by the air force, were locating and destroying Hamas’s fighting capabilities and terrorist assets.

“IDF troops … continue operational activities in the area of Rafah,” the IDF said in a statement Tuesday. “IDF troops eliminated several terrorists in cooperation with the IAF and located rockets and additional military equipment in the area.”

The IDF has successfully evacuated close to a million civilians from Rafah, leaving between 300,000 and 400,000 still in Hamas controlled part of the city. “Israel’s military said (…) that more than 950,000 civilians in the city had relocated since it gave expanded evacuation orders,” The New York Times reported Tuesday. “A military spokesman said about 300,000 to 400,000 civilians remain there.”

The IDF was also operating in northern and central Gaza, where Hamas terror fighters have been trying to regroup since Israel withdrew ground troops in early April amid growing pressure from the Biden administration.

“IDF troops continue operational activities in Central Gaza. During the activity, the troops identified a terrorist cell approaching them. The troops directed an IAF aircraft that swiftly struck and eliminated the terrorists,” the IDF press statement on Tuesday added. “Over the past day, IAF fighter jets and additional aircraft struck and dismantled approximately 70 terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including military compounds, weapon storage sites and warehouses, missile launchers, observation posts, terrorist cells, and additional terror infrastructure.”

The Israel military was also hitting Hamas terror targets in Jabaliya, northern Gaza. “IDF troops continue operational activities in the area of Jabaliya. Over the past day, the troops eliminated several terrorists. During one of the activities, a terrorist cell fired at IDF troops, who directed an IAF aircraft that struck and eliminated the cell,” the IDF disclosed.

Find out which two guys know how to fix the things, and eliminate them.

Terror groups AND ME militaries are notorious for having a bunch of folks who can barely twist a knob actually using the weapons and a few trained, capable people to keep the rest out of trouble.

Meanwhile in New York, the UN lowered their flag to half-staff earlier today to commemorate the death of the Butcher of Tehran. Not surprisingly, their flag was NEVER lowered in memoriam of the thousands of Israeli civilians murdered in cold blood on October 7th.

Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.

I actually get why the UN would do this for the Tehran butcher, as he is their President after all (or what ever the fuck he was 🤷‍♂️).

I also understand why the UN wouldn’t lower the flag for the victims of Islamic terrorism because if they did it for the Jews they’d have to do it for everyone else (which would be a never ending list of victims mostly of Islamic terrorism).

However, having said that what I would PREFER from the UN is consistency but like good consistency (treating everyone the same) instead of the current consistency (supporting everyone that hates Jews).

What I would prefer from the UN is that they simply dissolved and went the hell away. They’re worthless and worse, they’re huge waste of resources.

FWIW, here’s the press-release from last November noting the UN flags will be lowered to ‘half-mast’ (I believe they meant half-staff), in commemoration of the UNRWA members who were killed in Gaza….by the Israelis.

      https://press.un.org/en/2023/db231110.doc.htm

The reality is the UN lowers their flags all the time, usually due to natural disasters and whatnot.

As I said, I’d rather they were consistent in a good way instead of being consistent in their support of Jewish genocide 😡

Lower their flag completely with a small pile of thermite. Even better would be defund and kick the UN out.

Hurrah! I look forward to the day when Israel takes full control of Rafah! Let it be soon!

Israel, Let’s roll!!!!

Amal Clooney is a fraud!

How do you get rid of terrorists? It’s a process of elimination:

“Israel Eliminates Hezbollah Rocket Commander”

What’s making me laugh is that the left can’t even see the invasion of Rafa has been underway for several weeks now 😂😂

So much for Biden and his foreign policy 🤡

I wonder how much of what we see of Biden’s policy is just bs for the purpose of frustrating and confusing everyone while complicated preparations were being made to start the next phase of the war. Wishful thinking, I know, but I do wonder, since as bad as Joe B is, he knows very well who is right and who is wrong in this conflict.

fjb is sending in a replacement for Saqlawi

WANTED: Hezbollah has an immediate opening for a Regional Rocket Commander in Southern Lebanon. Some knowledge of ballistic trajectories desired, but not critical. Good pay and benefits (life insurance not included).

I don’t know why Israel is bothering with these underlings. They should go for the head: Hassan Nasrallah.

Relocating 950,000 civilians out of the operations area. Worst genocide ever.

TAFO: Terrorist around, find out.
