Netanyahu Rejects Hamas Deal, U.S. Kills Kataib Hezbollah Commander in Iraq

Here are a few major updates from the Middle East!
No Hamas Deal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Hamas’s “delusional demands.”
The terrorist group demanded a four-and-a-half-month truce. The terrorists would release the hostages in three stages along with Palestinian prisoners in Israel:
- Phase one: A 45-day pause in fighting during which all Israeli women hostages, males under 19, the elderly and sick would be exchanged for Palestinian women and children held in Israeli jails. Israeli forces would withdraw from populated areas of Gaza, and the reconstruction of hospitals and refugee camps would begin.
- Phase two: Remaining male Israeli hostages would be exchanged for Palestinian prisoners and Israeli forces leave Gaza completely.
- Phase three: Both sides would exchange remains and bodies.
The proposed deal would also see deliveries of food and other aid to Gaza increase. By the end of the 135-day pause in fighting, Hamas said negotiations to end the war would have concluded.
The prisoners, including the women and children, are in prison because they tried to attack Israel. Yes, women and children can be terrorists.
Releasing prisoners would be a mistake. Look at Hamas leader Sinwar, a former Israeli prisoner exchanged for one Israeli soldier.
Israel learned her lesson:
Speaking with reporters during a press conference in Jerusalem, Netanyahu insisted that he had made no specific promises regarding the release of Palestinian security prisoners with blood on their hands, or any ratio for Palestinian prisoners to be freed in return for hostages in a potential deal, declaring that Israel “has not committed to anything.”
“There is supposed to be some kind of negotiation via the intermediaries. But right now, given what I see from the response by Hamas [to the Israel-backed framework for talks on a deal], they’re not there,” he said.
“Surrender to Hamas’s delusional demands, that we’ve just heard, not only would not bring about the freedom of the hostages, but it would only invite an additional slaughter; it would invite disaster for Israel that no Israeli citizens want,” he said.
Netanyahu has felt pressure from the loved ones of the hostages, released hostages, and others around the world to take deals to bring them home.
Netanyahu and the IDF know the best way to preserve Israel is to eliminate Hamas:
“The victory is within reach,” he stated, predicting that the war would be won in a “matter of months” rather than years or decades.
Netanyahu’s comments echoed those of IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, who said on Tuesday during a visit to northern Gaza that the hostages’ return “won’t happen without military pressure.”
Calling the military’s accomplishments in the offensive against Hamas “unprecedented,” Netanyahu said that 20,000 Hamas fighters are dead or injured — more than half the Hamas fighting force, with 18 of its 24 battalions no longer functional.
Israel’s “valiant fighters” have “proved that everything they told us was impossible was possible… and more,” he added, taking aim at “experts,” TV commentators and those in the international community who predicted that the ground offensive would fail.
U.S. Drone Strike in Iraq
The U.S. conducted a drone strike in Iraq, killing Senior commander Abu Baqir al-Saadi of Kataib Hezbollah, a terrorist group backed by Iran.
The Pentagon connected al-Saadi to the attack in Jordan that killed three American soldiers:
- Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Ga.
- Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Ga.
- Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Ga.
The drone strike occurred in eastern Baghdad.
America only confirmed one death.
One source said the strike killed three people and hit a vehicle “used by Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), a state security agency composed of dozens of armed groups, many of them close to Iran.”

Could 40,000 Hamas have built all those tunnels? I don’t think so, there are a lot of Hamas collaborators who also should be dealt with.
The tunnels have been built over a period of decades. And it doesn’t take “fighters” to build tunnels, just engineers, construction personnel, and material and monetary support from the UN and other chumps (like the US) who turn a blind eye to the fact that terrorists steal the lion’s share of whatever is sent to Gaza as “humanitarian aid.
Are you saying that all the people it took to build those tunnels were not aware of their purpose? I doubt that is the case.

This would hand Hamas a win that they would use to rebuild with. They need to be obliterated. They don’t get to make demands. They get to surrender or be killed.
The proper way to release captured Hamas fighters is to make sure the noose is properly adjusted, then open the trapdoor on the gallows. But if their leaders insist, I’d be OK with welding them into a suicide bomber vest and setting the timer to allow just enough time for them to meet those leaders.
The October 7 attacks weren’t terrorism, they were war crimes – an attack by illegal combatants ordered by the government of Gaza, planned to enable mass murder, gang rape, kidnapping, and torture. Everyone involved, from the leaders who ordered the attacks to anyone who knowingly gave material support to the attackers, should be tried and promptly executed. Israel might not be able to prevent new insane killers and vicious rapists arising the dysfunctional Gazan population, but they can ensure that nothing from Hamas survives to assist in the new generation organizing and equipping such attacks.
Any country sheltering Hamas leaders has chosen to assume responsibility for war crimes – they should have to choose between handing Hamas leaders over to justice, or suffering from bombing or commando raids to kill the leaders in place.
After annihilating Hamas, perhaps they should look at the teachers and parents that indoctrinated the attackers. If I understand the law correctly, an “Accessory before the fact” to rape and murder is guilty of rape and murder.
Hamas might want to note that proposing to trade non-combatants you took for combatants they took is a kinda terrorist-y look.
They don’t care. They are counting on the “international community” to force Israel to eat a sh*t sandwich and call it good. So far they aren’t interested.
Netanyahu knows the Hamas playbook. Any cease fire will be used to regroup, re-supply, build rockets, and time to train more suicide bombers. The muslims in the West Bank and Gaza teach their children that there is no greater honor than killing a Jew. Any muslim capable of shooting a rifle would be conscripted for another waive of terror on Israel.

Because Democrats have to appease their base somehow. The longer this conflict drags on the harder Democrats have to work at appeasing their base.
I don’t believe Israel actually has any children in prison. Minors, yes, but not actual children. Even children who have committed terrorist acts are not held criminally liable for it.
My simple, three-point peace plan for Gaza:
1. Unconditional surrender of Hamas, all of its fighters, and the delivery of all its commanders for trial
2. The surrender of all military materials, of every sort
3. The replacement of Hamas with a Israeli-backed government
These points are not much different to the terms dictated to Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. If they were good enough for the Germans and the Japanese, they’re good enough for Hamas. You don’t start a war you can’t end on advantageous terms, and that lesson sometimes needs to be learned the hard way. It’s also foolish to enter a war that you can end on advantageous terms, and then piss away the opportunity to do so.
I see no mention of hostages. I’m assuming that is thrown into step 1?

Your plan is sensible. However, I come back to the same conclusion that there is still no justification for a Palestinian State. How about instead we send the Arabs living in Gaza, Judea and Samaria to the Arab countries they descend from and liberate those parts of Israel once and for all?
I would like to observe how Arab terrorist supporters react to being ruled by a Hashemite [not -actually-Arab] king. How do Egyptians treat their own, especially after Hamas has been defeated?
This is refreshing from the Jews for a change. Instead of caving to international pressure like they have every other conflict started by Hamas they are instead killing Hamas.
