The IDF brought Yehudt Weiss home to Israel. May she rest in peace and her family find comfort during this time.
The IDF found the body of Yehudt Weiss, a woman taken hostage by Hamas from Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7.
Weiss started breast cancer treatment before October 7th.
The soldiers found Weiss near the Shifa hospital.
The terrorists shot Weiss’s husband in front of her as they took shelter from the invasion.
Yehudit Weiss, 64, was sick with cancer when Hamas death squads murdered her husband in Be’eri and abducted her to Gaza on October 7.

It’s actually awful. But as to your point, yes probably true.
I agree, and for that reason I thought Israel should focus on minimizing soldier deaths flooding tunnels with a combustible gas, detonating it, repeat as necessary. I am sure that that would terrorize Pale low life in the tunnels.. It would also expose other entrances. It would be a shame if homes connected to the tunnel network spectacularly blew up. The nature of crimes committed call for no mercy. For most of the people, death would be quick, for those at the end of the burn, who gives a shit.

A dead hostage doesn’t have much tactical value so I’m not sure they’re thinking this through.

The Paleos do not often “think things through.” They would have had a “homeland” years ago if they had.
They probably kept a handful alive so they could be released strategically. But, at this point they are more trouble than they are worth.
I think that the variances of initially releasing 70 hostages for x day ceasefire, and them coming back with releasing 50 hostages for x day ceasefire is because they don’t have enough hostages alive.

I suspect that any hostages who were raped or tortured either have been or will be killed unless the IDF can somehow rescue them.
Hostages who have not suffered that level of abuse have great value to the terrorists in protecting them from an all out assault.
The terrorists no doubt either have or hope to have a plan of escape using the hostages as shields.
I think we can safely assume the adult hostages are dead–maybe they saved some children to use as bargaining chips, but with these savages, it’s hard to know
