The Long Journey to Today’s Madness on Campus Week in Education

Your weekly report on education news.

As professor Jacobson points out, we did not get to this point overnight.

And it is madness.

Columbia University is failing this moment.

This seems to be happening everywhere, all at once.

The reaction has also been strong.

It’s worth pondering.

Rewarding bad behavior.

Excellent questions.

So true.

Academia is the third front in this war between the civilized but weak world vs the anti civilized ruthless world.

Frankly, I am mystified by this trendy antisemitism. All my life it has been made clear that antisemitism was as evil as racism and misogyny. Jews predominately control the media; thus popular culture trends; yet still this has happened. Everyone for the last 50 years has obediently prefaced discussion of our heritage by replacing Christian with Judeo-Christian. Hanukkah was elevated to equalize with Christmas. Mangers were forbidden on town greens, but Menorah lights encouraged. Woe betide him who does not aver that exactly 6 million Jews died in the holocaust. Academia is bursting with Jews. Every woke manifestation steamrolling through society is spearheaded by Jews. So how did this happen?

It looks like traditional libs’ white people vs brown people in Gaza to me, and the libs side with the brown people. Not specifically antisemitic. The Gazans are antisemitic but not the libs.

The residuals are from Jews being smart and they don’t want smart. It makes brown people look bad.

Add in the Jewish tendency of taking antisemitism as part of their tradition of being alienated, and there’s a tendency not to distinguish very well what’s going on.

White = minus one point
Smart = minus one point
Actually having an ongoing fight with brown people = minus one point

and you pretty much account for everything.

That it, I don’t think antisemitism is actually what’s going on in the US. It doesn’t look more insane than the George Floyd attachment, in fact less insane.

“Long Journey to Today’s Madness on Campuses”

Yes, it was a long journey—from 1776 to 1976.

The last leg of the journey will be much shorter.
