Netanyahu: “Every Hamas Operative Will Die. Hamas is ISIS.”

Netanyahu: “Every Hamas Operative Will Die. Hamas is ISIS.”

“We saw the beasts. We saw the barbarians we are facing. We saw a cruel enemy. An enemy worse than ISIS.”

Benny Gantz’s National Unity Party joined Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form a united government to defeat Hamas.

Gantz and Netanyahu addressed the nation together:

Announcing the formation of a “national emergency government” with the addition of Benny Gantz’s National Unity party, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says, “the people of Israel are united, and now the leadership is also united. We put all other considerations aside, because the fate of the nation is at stake. We will work together, side by side, for the citizens of Israel and the state of Israel.”

“We saw the beasts. We saw the barbarians we are facing. We saw a cruel enemy. An enemy worse than ISIS. We saw boys and girls, bound, shot in the head. Men and women burned alive. Young women raped and slaughtered. Fighters decapitated… In one place, they set fire to tires around them, and burned them alive.”

“How staggering the atrocity. How great the pain,” he says in a televised address that Israel is now on the attack.

He says every family in Israel knows somebody who was killed. We all know families whose loved ones were murdered. But he also cites the acts of heroism of those who fought the Hamas terrorists. “And we will all fight for the home,” he says.

He says Israel’s unity is resonating worldwide, and was exemplified in President Biden’s support.

“We are fighting with full force, on every front, we have gone onto the attack. Every member of Hamas is a dead man,” he adds.

Hamas is Islamic State, he says, and Israel will destroy Hamas just as the world destroyed Islamic State. “The people of Israel lives, and together we will win,” he concludes.

Gantz said:

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant calls the Hamas onslaught “the worst terror attack the world has ever seen.”

“Thousands of terrorists stormed in to destroy, murder, loot and slaughter.”

As a lifelong soldier who witnessed many awful things, he says, “I never saw anything like this.”

He cites “children bound together and murder, people burned, barbaric deeds that the Jewish people has not suffered since 1945.”

And these acts were only halted by the “heroism of the fighters.”

He recounts various stories of officers and soldiers doing everything they could to try and stop the attackers, some dying in the fight, and others continuing to battle. He says they freed some of those who had been captured. He speaks of a female soldier in Ofakim with no ammunition who crawled over to a dead terrorist, grabbed his hand grenade and threw it into a room to kill a second terrorist. A single general killed 14 terrorists, he recounts. “These are the heroes who stopped the murders… We’ve cleaned the area and we’re on the attack.”

Speaking with an angry intensity in a televised statement alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Unity leader Benny Gantz, he says the Hamas terror group will be “obliterated.”

“Hamas — the Islamic State of Gaza — will be wiped from the face of the earth,” he says. “It will not continue to exist.

“There will be no situation in which Israeli children are murdered and we all go about our business,” he adds.

AMEN!

Yes. Nothing to add to this one.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

Well, there goes any hope of any progress in Israel. Gantz is a committed leftist, though he doesn’t always talk like one. But his record speaks louder than his words. He is one of those Israelis who is convinced that the root of the “Palestinian” problem is the “occupation”, and that they have legitimate national aspirations that can’t be suppressed by force, and therefore one way or another there must be a “two state solution”. He’s against Jews living anywhere that would cause a problem for that. And of course while this government exists Netanyahu has agreed to suspend all legislative initiatives, so there goes any hope of judicial reform.

Beheading babies ended everything Hamas supports.

TY.. It is so hard to comprehend the evil. Scorched earth, then salt.

It may end Hamas, but with Gantz in a position of power it will not end what Hamas supports, which is “Palestinian” nationalism and a “Palestinian” state. Gantz supports that too, so with him in the government there will be no ending that dream. There will be no expulsions, no annexations, no new Jewish communities; on the contrary, they will finish Hamas and immediately turn around and make dangerous and insane concessions to Fatah, just to prove how liberal they are and that they have not given up on the cause of “peace”.

I don’t get how so many people downvoted that. Do we seriously have so many Gantz supporters here?! The man is a leftist through and through. He believes in it. Why is anyone upset at my saying so?

You are correct. Upvote. But Gantz is less of a problem than Blinken and Biden. As soon as Hamas is defeated (and not by too much mind you), they will pressure Israel to stop its war and then exert pressure on Israel to force Israel to hand over Gaza to Mahmoud Abbas. And the leftists, including Gantz, will agree. And then there will be the new effort for the “two state solution.”

Unfortunately Millhouse, it needed to be done in this hour of need for unity in the face of depraved subhuman savages. My only hope is that Netanyahu will carry out hesitation to make every member of Hamas a dead man, whether in Gaza or in Qatar.

mailman in reply to Milhouse. | October 12, 2023 at 8:55 am

There absolutely could be a two state solution and it could happen tomorrow. All that HAS to happen is for Palestinians to accept Israels right to exist and to live in peace with their Jewish neighbours.

Lets not forget that every last Jew was removed from Gaza, including by force for those who didnt want to leave and East Jerusalem was offered as the Palestinian capital, along with 97% of the West Bank (with 3% kept for security purposes).

And what did the Palestinians do? The took another chance to never miss a chance and they took that missed opportunity with glee. Oh but what about that 3% the left screeched. Well, I imagine after proving they can live in peace with the Jews that eventually the need for that security buffer would no longer be required.

And just like the Juices gave back the Sinai, even though they didnt have to, that 3% could also go as well.

Outside of existing, this isnt an Israel problem. This is a Palestinian problem and their inability to live in peace with Jews is the root of these problems (because the reality is Israel exists and is not going anywhere any time soon).

The Israeli left may support the formation of a palesimian state in theory but they know damn well the problem isn’t “occupation”, it’s arab rejection of Israel’s right to exist. They also know the only difference between Hamas and Fatah is Abbas wears a suit and lies about his intentions.
The unity government probably won’t last for long after the end of the war so it won’t have much effect on judicial reform.

I hope that Israel can succeed without US help. Because our fedguv isn’t any more likely to effectively help them than it has helped us.

I think you’re about 2 carriers too late.

      ChrisPeters in reply to txvet2. | October 11, 2023 at 11:24 pm

Moving the carriers a bit closer does not mean that they will actually be used in defending Israel. It is very possible the moves were made because Biden wants to APPEAR to be providing support.

Stuytown in reply to henrybowman. | October 12, 2023 at 8:09 am

It’s not just that the US government is ineffective. It’s that the US will not allow Israel to succeed. Blinken and Biden are already spouting off about “international law.” Against terrorists.

Blinken and Biden are already spouting off about “international law.” Against terrorists.

      Terrorists:
      – Who perpetrated an unprovoked attack.
      – Who violated “international law” by targeting civilian non-combatants, including within their homes.
      – Who committed crimes against humanity by abducting, torturing, raping, burning alive, and beheading women, children, and elderly.

Blinken, Biden, and the U.N. can invoke “international law” all they want, but the fact is, “international law” will do more to justify Israel’s response than it does to protect Hamas from it.

Now that Israel has announced the creation of a unity government, the Palestinians have no hope, if they ever did. The religious and the secular sides of society have publicly agreed that Hamas must be destroyed.

From the standpoint of the Palestinians, they are now facing a largely unified Israeli people who are very angry-a first-world nuclear armed state that is filled with resolve.

The Palestinians have only one card left to play-surrender. They may hate the prospect of this but it is all they have left. The alternative is complete destruction.

Milhouse in reply to Ghostrider. | October 12, 2023 at 6:58 am

On the contrary, the “Palestinians” have every hope. First of all only Gantz has joined. More importantly, he supports their cause. Even if Hamas is destroyed, the “Palestinians” will not be, and the government will be eager to prove how peace-minded it is by giving them everything they demand, while trumpeting how “tough” it is because it fought Hamas.

You go guy flatten the whole goddamn place. The few that are left to surrender shoot them in the gut and let them bleed out.

Richard Epstein suggests a plan: there’s a beach, all women and children go there and somebody will transport them to safety. The rest of you are fair game. If Hamas won’t permit it, it’s on Hamas what happens to them.

Not this time around. Now, it’s personal. From a writer who has spent years writing about the Middle East conflicts to saying goodbye to his son as he was called up to active duty this week. Imagine yourself in his shoes.

A common news expression is “if it bleeds, it leads.”

Israel will get a massive amount of negative press, which will portray the government as evil.

Hamas knows this and actually wants their people to be harmed!

Bibi means what he says;howver, we face a much bigger war. iIt’s estimated the Obiden Junta is responsible for the funding of Iran’s terror machine to the tune of $60 billion in the past 30 months. And allowing Iran to fully fund its proxy terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah. In addition the Obiden Junta left behind in the hands of the Taliban billions of dollars worth of advanced weaponry. Billions of the aid sent to Ukraine has been diverted as well. Billions in payments, including the $6 billion, will not be stopped. It’s probably already been delivered.
Let me explain why. It’s a payment toward stealing the 2024 elections and staying in power. The only way the organized crime syndicate masquerading as the Democratic Party can retain power is through massive election fraud, and the easiest, simplest method is the mail-in voting machine they developed for the 2020 election. This requires another shutdown, another panic, another reason to compel mail-in voting. Instead of a fake pandemic, they will start a war. Among the millions of illegals are tens of thousands of military age young men from the Middle East. They are Hamas, Hezbullas, Isis, Taliban fighters. They will be armed by groups associated with BLM and ANTIFA, and communists that have been placed throughout US military and law enforcement, and released on US targets creating a massive death, chaos and destruction designed to cause panic. Attacks will be carried out in nightclubs, concerts, sports events, schools, churches and synagogues, malls, grocery stores, and any myriad number of targets of opportunity. They will be designed to sow indescribable destruction, horror and panic. The response will be massive. Public gatherings will be banned and once again mail-in voting will be demanded as a “national security measure.” The War Powers Act invoked, massive censorship imposed and a whole host of incredible powers the crime syndicate

If the Israeli govt doesn’t take over Gaza and eject everyone who didn’t oppose Hamas over the past 15 or so years (which is 99.9% of the current population of Gaza) to the West Bank or elsewhere they are making a mistake. There is no way it makes any sense to allow a rump State in Gaza that is hostile to Israel. These knuckle heads had the opportunity to govern themselves and join the modern civilized world. Instead they rejected that and consistently chose barbarism. Giving them another bite at the apple is foolhardy.
