#CocaineGate: White House Accounting of Biden Family July 4 Weekend Whereabouts at Odds With Pool Reports
“Fact check: @presssec said there was ‘irresponsible’ reporting on WH cocaine because Biden family ‘were not here Friday.’ Hunter was at WH Friday according to @EugeneDaniels2 pool report.”
The story of the Biden White House cocaine discovery, which social media netizens have dubbed “#CocaineGate,” continues to evolve in what is increasingly coming across as a high-level attempt at a cover-up, perhaps—as some political commentators have speculated—to shield President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.
The original alleged location of the baggie of illegal drugs has changed four times since Sunday, with it first being discovered “near” the White House according to reports, then in the White House library, then in a “work area” close to the West Wing, and now “in a cubby near the White House’s West Executive entrance” in close proximity to the Situation Room, which MSNBC noted was “near where—for example—the Vice President’s vehicle is parked.”
Though it may sound from that particular report as though the Biden team is preparing to set up one of their biggest 2024 liabilities, Kamala Harris, to take the fall, the groundwork is being laid in a different direction: on either “workers” in the White House or possibly on the Secret Service.
But before we get to that, let’s take a look at comments a seemingly exasperated White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made Friday in response to more questions about the timeline of events and speculation over who the culprit is (emphasis mine):
Reporter: I’m just asking again: Can you just say once and for all whether or not the cocaine belonged to the Biden family?
[…]
Jean-Pierre: So we’re not avoiding the question; that is not true. We’ve answered this question, litigated this question for the last two days exhaustively.
You know, there has been some irresponsible reporting about the family, and — and so I got to call that out here. And I have been very clear. I was clear two days ago when talking about this over and over again, as I was being asked a question.
As you know — and the media outlets reported this — the Biden family was not here. They were not here. They were at Camp David. They were not here Friday. They were not here Saturday. They were not here Sunday. They were not even here Monday. They came back on Tuesday. So to ask that question is actually incredibly irresponsible. And — and I’ll just leave it there.
Watch:
KJP says that "irresponsible reporting" is alleging that the cocaine found in the White House might have belonged to the Biden family.
She then goes on to call a journalist in the briefing room "irresponsible" for asking the White House to unequivocally say that the drugs do not… pic.twitter.com/jDesTsGfx3

The problem with Jean-Pierre’s accounting of the Biden family’s whereabouts over the July 4 holiday is that it doesn’t quite match up with pool reports, which the New York Post‘s Steven Nelson observed after the comments were made:
Fact check: @presssec said there was 'irresponsible' reporting on WH cocaine because Biden family 'were not here Friday'
Hunter was at WH Friday according to @EugeneDaniels2 pool report https://t.co/2GoWiy6ao9 pic.twitter.com/tva9IOtwAO

Further, it is not “irresponsible” to speculate as to whether or not the cocaine could have been brought in and left by a member of the Biden family considering Hunter Biden in particular not only has battled drug addiction but also has a tendency to forget about important personal possessions like laptops:
The guy who ditched and forgot his laptop at a repair shop surely would not have ditched or forgotten his dime bag https://t.co/MkEr0s4pWF

As to the blame game, Biden national security advisor Jake Sullivan was also at the Friday press briefing and insinuated that “workers” might be to blame for the cocaine find, while noting the Situation Room had been closed “for months” due to construction:
The Situation Room is not in use and has not been in use for months because it is currently under construction. We are using an alternate Situation Room in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. So the only people coming in and going out of the Sit Room in this period have been workers who are getting it ready to go.

This purposeful insinuation that “workers” were at fault was an insult to our intelligence, especially considering that as former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino pointed out earlier this week, security screenings at the White House are extraordinarily thorough and typically would catch something like cocaine—unless it happened to be carried in by someone who bypassed security, like a family member:
There’s absolutely ZERO chance anyone other than a family member brought that cocaine inside the White House complex. No chance that would make it past the mag/security checkpoints. Family bypasses those.
— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) July 5, 2023
Libs are funny. They’re apparently unaware that at a MAG/SECURITY checkpoint you’re forced to empty your pockets, and all of your bags are checked too. That’s how they keep potential bio-chem weapons out. 🤦🏼♂️ https://t.co/c8hStUdRTY
— Dan Bongino (@dbongino) July 6, 2023
Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton predicted there would be some Secret Service agents who would likely take the fall for whoever the culprit is, in the interests of the Biden White House putting this behind them ahead of 2024:
Don't worry, @dbongino, the Biden gang will simply accuse the Secret Service of a security lapse and destroy a career or two to provide the necessary distraction and cover. https://t.co/nEqtDphgYe

Sadly, it wouldn’t be the first time something like that has happened.

What would have happened if the bag HAD contained ricin or another biohazard?
Good question, but the answer is simple: If Hunter wants to do his coke in the WH, Hunter gets to do his coke in the WH. Daddy approved. The Secret Service must know Hunter’s a complete disaster druggie criminal of a human being, and they must have just let him bring the coke in. Why would he bring in ricin or anything that didn’t meet his own needs? He’s not going to kill the Mr. 10% Big Guy, after all. Without his dad, Hunter is a criminal drug-addicted hooker-hopping POS.
I think goddessoftheclassroom’s point may have been that if the baggie had contained ricin we would have long since known who brought it in.
Well, that’s silly, too, since ricin would never ever be allowed in the WH in the first place. The Secret Service aren’t 1-800-rent-a-security-dude. They know their stuff. (I may not be able to confidently say that in a decade, but right now, I suspect they are still doing a good job, They know where the coke came from, of course, and at least one of them is about to take the fall.).
Not true, they are already suggesting the coke came from the area where see by the VP
Lol, can’t make this up
But that being said, she does seem
High as a kite with all that crackling
gonzo,
I believe that’s MSNBC who’s trying to connect that dot (as noted in the post):
“which MSNBC noted was “near where—for example—the Vice President’s vehicle is parked.””
Maybe we would have been rid if Biden and the sleazy handlers?
In fairness there was that time about a decade ago a few Secret Service Agents were running buck wild in Cartagena, Columbia bringing hookers back to their hotel after, by all accounts, a very impressive night of bar hopping. This was the ‘you pay me cash Baby’ incident.
This is why we need a Commander in Chief who is not a complete loser in terms of selecting personnel. Trump’s track record on appointments and hires is abysmal (outside the Courts). He is a horrible judge of character, and he seems to hire anyone who says “good things” about him.
Bill Barr wrote a gushing op-ed about Trump, so he became AG. On a fawning piece of crap op-ed. Seriously? “He said good things about me,” so I’ll make him AG? Insane. Trump is beyond stupid in hiring.
Everyone he hired has either turned on him or ratted him out. And no one with a shred of self-regard would agree to work for him in a second term. Trump is an ego-driven moron, and he hires people who lie to him about how great he is. I could never and will never (again) vote for someone this flawed when our very country is at stake.
Trump does have a bit of a tendency to surround himself with those who flatter or fawn over him. He isn’t a moron, the man is quite intelligent. He does seem to have an outsized ego and he definitely has repeatedly displayed an impulse to squash anyone who doesn’t toe his line 100% of the time no matter what.
I am undecided in the primary and will keep my options open until we get into the thick of the primary campaign in the winter. I need to see the debates and the candidate’s policy proposals fleshed out, explained in more detail and defended. For the general election I will support the GoP nominee b/c to do otherwise is giving up and handing a victory to the d/prog. The Nation simply can’t take another term of d/prog policies and any of us taking our ball and going home in a fit of pique about the nominee is helping the d/prog win.
Amen. They ALWAYS tell you who scares them.
LOL. DId you read either my or Chief’s posts? It seems not.
True. The Trump fans here have made it pretty obvious that they’re scared spitless of DeSantis.
Fuzzy foot covers…don’t flatter yourself, please.
I am referring to the Americans for Prosperity and the vile ad they sent unsolicited.
If I have to endure that YOU can endure my support of Trump…simple as that.
Arguing with negative commenters looks thin-skinned and exposes why women “hate” Trump…pure emotion. I’ll look on YOUR bright side and make an observation.
No more mean tweets…we are marching to the oven.
Fuzzy foot covers! I love it! As to the rest . . . yawn.
Americans for Prosperity is a Koch outlet. Koch hates Trump. Keep that in mind when you read their stuff, take what you need, and disregard the rest.
Ten thumbs up. It is easy to make a case that Trump’s selections cost him re-election. He arguably made the “swamp” worse by not diminishing it and, in fact, making it more motivated – example, the letter signed by the 51 intelligence officials.
I really would like to see a credible third party candidate. In this environment, “a pox on both your houses” might create a winner. Tucker really seems to like RFK Jr.
You can’t be serious. RFK, Jr. is a true Democrat, super hyped by globalism, the Green New Deal, and endless handouts to the people supposedly damaged by racism, poverty, blah blah. He makes me sick to my stomach.
But, but, he’s so handsome, suburban women are already going all goopy over his being president.
Handsome? You think so?
At Fuzzy: no. But, he IS a Kennedy…
Yeah, but he definitely was skipped over in the good looks line. He’s a true Democrat, though, so maybe he will sue God for damages?
I hope a significant percentage of Democrats vote for RFK Jr in the primaries.
But in turning against pandemic panic and toward freedom of speech—which has made him a pariah with the mass media and the party establishment—he has held onto every other Leftist policy position.
For example, he has criticized Christopher Steele for supporting the suppression of “disinformation” about a certain virus. But not for spreading tales of “Russia collusion.” Some might see those as connected.
No, he WON!!!
The election was stolen
Try to understand that leaking toilets Do not cause 6 states to shut down to allow millions of votes to be brought in only to magically erase a commanding lead by President Trump
None of us knew the depth – or even existence – of the epidemic of corruption and treason in our government, including the GOPe. So why would Trump have?
I don’t think he’ll make that mistake this time around,
How can that be true? Did you miss the Obama years completely? The weaponization of pretty much every Executive branch agency against the Tea Party? The IRS, the NTSB, the DOJ, the list goes on. Did you miss Fast and Furious? Sleep through the absolute war on the Tea Party spear-headed by the GOPe? How can you possibly claim that no one knew the extent of government corruption after living through eight years of Obama?
I was waiting for
It’s ALL President Trumps fault
I was not disappointed
Nobody is as flawed as the current crop of establishment Democrats, and if I have to choose the lesser of two evils, I will.
Trump 2024. The man saved our country once, and I believe he can do so again.
That’s cool. You certainly have a lot of company in that view. I don’t think he can win a general, but that’s apparently not of interest to Trump supporters. And that’s okay, too. We can all support and vote for whomever we wish.
Hunter believes he’s being targeted because the head of Secret Service has it in for Him. The current Director, Kim Cheatle, was formerly employed by Pepsi, but Hunter prefers coke.
I guess Coke truly is the real thing…
Heh, you made a joke. And I laughed. I didn’t know you had a sense of humor, Chief. Nice to see. 😛
Let’s test that: It’s actually Commo De’ Chief.
“The problem with Jean-Pierre’s accounting of the Biden family’s whereabouts over the July 4 holiday is that it doesn’t quite match up with pool reports,”
They lie. They lie about their lies. They lie when they don’t have to lie. Lying is the default position for this regime.
…you’re forced to empty your pockets, and all of your bags are checked too.
This makes it impossible to smuggle a bag of coke in??
Seems like you’d have to hide it in your nose to get past the checkpoint…
The barking seals will turn on you when you stop tossing them herring. Lies so bald the audience won’t buy them don’t sustain the proxy mouthpieces.
Eveen pet operatives of the state media may try anything — even journalism — to survive when they see their end coming. Count on this administration to keep acting like they own the press corps long after they don’t any more.
I see this administration owning the press corps as long as they want to own it.
It’s a clear Lee Atwater situation: “Where else are the press going to go?”
Fifty-one former intelligence officers say that this cocaine affair has all the hallmarks of a Mexican plant.
