Officials identified a white substance found in the White House Library as cocaine.
But Newsmax learned…
BREAKING: Multiple officials at @USSecretService tell @NEWSMAX that contrary to more recent published reports, the cocaine was found “in a work area in the West Wing,” not in the @WhiteHouse library—and that the cocaine was “in a baggie” when discovered, not loose or concealed.

The discovery led to a brief evacuation:
“We have a yellow bar stating cocaine hydrochloride,” a DC firefighter stated in a radio communication at 8:49 p.m. on Sunday.
“Bag it up and take it out,” the firefighter told the Hazmat team
The white powdery substance was found in the residence’s library, according to the dispatch call.
A residence like the president’s living quarters or the public part where people and staff can mingle? Weird:
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told the Washington Post that more tests will be conducted to confirm that the substance is in fact cocaine. President Biden was at Camp David at the time of the incident.
Authorities are now trying to determine how the substance got into the White House after a Secret Service agent found the powder during a routine sweep of the premises.
Where is Hunter? The dude has a long history of drug abuse. Didn’t a picture show him snorting coke off a woman’s butt?
I’m also shocked the cocaine news came out. Even if the media got it from the transmission…how did Biden’s handlers not get to it first, especially since everyone knows Hunter’s problems.
This presidency sure has made me a conspiracy theorist. Now more so that the location changed. Making it a work area means they can pin it on an employee and not, say, Hunter Biden.

I was joking about the library, because contrary to early reports, it wasn’t found there. This put the kibosh on the Biden apologists who said that someone on a White House tour left it there. The coke was found in a work area of the West Wing not included on tours. But the “clue” was still fun. LOL

Oh, come on now. There are portable machines that will analyze any substance out into it and immediately tell a person whether or not the material is cocaine or not. And if they do not have access to such a machine then an even simpler chemical test will identify it.

The portable test you are referring to is a preliminary screen. It is good enough for probable cause to arrest someone for possession of a controlled substance, but it is not good enough to convict someone. For that you need a forensic lab test where the drug is screened, and then a second test is done to confirm it. With a high profile suspect like Hunter Biden, you want the forensic lab test.
The portable test frequently gives false positives.
Just like drug dogs.
I wonder: is there a combination of settings on the testing machine to give a “false” reading, like giving a hand signal to a drug dog?

Right after “the substance” was tested Merrick Garland came out and said that the DOJ would not be charging any cocaine offenses, anymore, because their budget is tight and they have to prioritize their prosecutions. He declared, “I am using my prosecutorial discretion to declare cocaine, de facto, no longer illegal because that is what prosecutorial discretion is for. You’re welcome.”.
